I love that they have kept their privacy about everything and haven't tried to capitalize on having a kid. No one knows what he looks like, his birthday, nothing but the bare minimum that they select for everyone to know and that is so wonderful! Henry will forever be grateful for that!
Yeah henry will be very happy about it once he's grown. Like obviously they talk about real life in these and so we're gonna know he exists, but i appreciate that theyre giving us the minimum about it, this is all just like regular baby stuff.
Keith sounds like a fantastic dad too. A lot of dads wont put in the amount of effort he does.

@@anikawillis6183 Hearing Keith talk about how so many conversations from other parents are about talking-up the awful moments, instead of celebrating the happy moments, was kinda mind-blowing. I've gotten so used to "prepare for nightmare!" talk about having children, as opposed to joy.

Very important info: Henry Habersberger is six syllables which means it fits into “If You’re Happy and You Know It.” So like “if you’re Henry Habersberger, clap your hands.” My second is the same and I sang that to him allllll the time.

I really love the approach the new baby rollouts have been doing-it's respecting the family's privacy (and that the baby is a person, who can't give consent to be shared), while still sharing the joy and the challenge of the new lifestyle. I’m so so so glad that the Habersbergen& Bonsignore babies are so close in age so that both sets of parents, but mostly Sarah & Becks, have support and socialization time with people in a similar life stage! Community builds resiliency for everyone! Becks & Sarah taking the boys to the zoo together is just **chef’s kiss**
Parents that watch other parents leave the NICU with their babies while you are still waiting is painful and so draining. I’m so glad to hear Henry (love the name) is doing well. Welcome to the world little Henry and you are surrounded by the most incredible and loving people.

We spent 6 months in the NICU. ANY time spent in the NICU feels like absolute eternity. Watching others graduate is so, so, so hard!

At 10:56 we witness 5 grown adults have a full literal “Squirrel!” moment which is the funniest thing ever.
You know I'm just so happy for the three of them after everything that happened. I feel like there's been really good things happening for each of them this last year Eugene's movie,Zach got married, Keith and becky had a baby that's really an amazing turn around. One of those "you never know where you're going to be in a year" type of things, so happy for you all ! :D

I was unexpectedly emotional for Becky’s interview earlier, she is an absolute trooper. But hoooooo boy Keith made me cry lol my dad gave me the gift of music at a very young age. Even if their kid ends up not loving music, sharing music is a tremendous bonding opportunity!!!

I loved watching Zach through this. You can tell how much he loves Keith and Becky, and now Henry. Aunts and Uncles are the best!!!!

One of the wild things my husband realized after we had our son was how few places have changing tables in the men's restrooms. If we are out and about as a family I almost always have to go change him because there is no option for my husband. He's resulting to just changing him in the back of the car whenever possible to just avoid the hassle.
And the placement of the tables in the restrooms is always awful. I've been smacked by doors countless times.
Honestly, the "terrible twos and threes" was terribly awesome. Yes it was really tough but more importantly it was that start of their independence. When my oldest was that age and throwing a fit it was really lovely to watch her work through why she didn't like something and then help her to understand how to express herself without yelling or screaming. It was the discovery phase and it was awesome and difficult all at the same time. But so far the best has been 6-9...they are more self sufficient but still learning and still want the cuddles and take your advice...it's great. I'm sure you're enjoying it all. Congratulations!

Right. The challenges are so different it is hard to compare but the first year was much easier than the last 3 😂
I will say that the sleep deprivation the first year is awful and unmatched
I think it depends on what you find challenging. I thought the first three months were the hardest with my first (she didn't sleep on her own during the day until she could be sleep trained). The boundary testing and tantrums are challenging, but the longer naps and more independence offset it in my opinion, and I have thought it has gotten easier as she's gotten older.
Lol I’m probably the weird one here, but I loooove the toddler stage!! The baby stage was so much harder for me. My toddler is like my hyper-emotional bestie. 😂
I agree that newborn is the easiest, but it’s also the least fun.

My son was born at 36 weeks and was also in the NICU. It is such a stressful and hard time to go through. I am grateful he is a healthy and happy 11 year old now and NICU is a distant memory.

Becky, I’ve been a middleschool boys summer camp counselor for the past two years. Let me tell you most of them put on that tough exterior because they are all so insecure. And one thing is constant with all of them they LOVE their parents. Don’t be nervous for this time
Something I learned from working with kids for years. They LOVE tape. Tape is the greatest thing to them. I worked at a children’s museum doing crafts and tape was the hottest commodity ever

TALKING. You'll hear people go off about how it's awful when they start talking because then they never shut up. But I absolutely adore the fact that I can have conversations with her and she can tell me what's wrong and she can tell me what she likes and she can tell me when she is afraid and what makes her happy. It is a beautiful thing to experience and I hope that when he gets there you guys enjoy every second of it❤❤❤

There are soooo many fun amazing milestones with each stage! The smiles, the cuddles, when they start saying mama+dada, you two are creating an amazing human! I can’t wait for Keith and Becky to experience it all!
Throw out due dates, adjusted ages - enjoy who Henry is! Becky - mourn the delivery you weren't able to experience. Just know everyone is here for you to support you in the delivery you had. Keith - same goes for you. Mourn the delivery and let you sit in it. And when you're ready enjoy where you, Becky and Henry are at - Henry is where he needs to be with parents who will follow his lead. We are all here for you!!!

My husband and I were both "band nerds" growing up and loved it. Our son was able to start music in school this year and chose to play the trumpet. Proud parents for sure.
My kiddo is 10 years old now but I remember those days. I'm so happy for you guys! And I love the new synthesizer. Reminds me of my Game Boy Advanced playing Zelda. Also Zack I used to play rockabye baby lullabies The Beatles and Led Zeppelin for my kids all the time at my daycare job back in the day for nap time and for my daughter as well. It keeps the baby happy and the parent happy. It's a win-win for sure.
I loved using swaddles and making them a little baby burrito and those automatic baby swings are your best friend. Man if you want some sleep or a little break between doing laundry, getting a shower and dishes etc. they're a life saver for sure.

Absolutely love you both sharing your story! Sorry for a moment of unsolicited advice but Buzz Patch stickers work great for protecting from mosquitoes. I know it's so long before you can put something on kiddos but use those on our twins and when they were little and we would be wearing them the stickers would even protect us! Congratulations on this exciting new chapter.
