But *peak plog* is being effortlessly one upped by Eugene with something more clever when they’ve barely even sat down, with the ensuing shared moment of stunned insecurity that caused replacing the standard plog bravado for the hottest of seconds 😂

Rewatching this today-when Zach returns from the kitchen with dates, and is trying to be unobtrusive as Eugene and Rainie have a serious discussion; I just noticed Miles and Zach exchanging gently escalating giggles, as they both don't want to interrupt the discussion, but the dates-sneaking is just too silly to ignore.
Loving the resurgence of Eugene recently! Hopefully that means his personal projects are going well and he has more time for regular appearances again!

What Eugene touches on about the throughline of the movie, the "fist" of it being anti-police terror, is what I really love about animation. SO many of the most moving stories we've seen in animation have a plot centering around going against the grain and questioning authority that flies over the heads of parents who are more concerned about whether the characters are gay or not, and then are confused when their kids grow up to question what those "above" them are intending.
I’ve only watched like 2 episodes of the trypod and I have to say Rainie is a delight. She really reigns in the feral raccoon energy that Zach and Miles create. She made the interview more substantial but is also just a good time, love to see it 👏🏽✨💖

I just finished watching Nimona and i had to come here to say how much I LOVED the movie. So sweet, heartwarming, FUNNY and just a wonderful story. I need 10000 sequels
Yeeeees, same! I started watching the movie to support the Try Guys in their individual endeavours, but I had forgotten all about that and was fully in the movie by minute 7. So fun and heartwarming! I'm also excited for the younger generation to have these types of characters on screen
There is nothing that makes the world feel like a better place than the abundance of support the Try Guys gice each other on their projects. So wholesome and just wonderful.
Daedalus built the wings for himself and his son Icarus. But Icarus refused to listen to his father when Daedalus said not to fly too high. So it was icarus’s own hubris that was his undoing.
One thing i just thought about is all 3 Try Guys have their own specific dreams and passion that does not step over the other Try guys passion. Keith = love performing on stage. Zach = He want to write and direct his own movies. Eugene = he love to perform as an actor. So when one of them realize their dream the others cheer and are happy because its not like "oh damn i wanted to act in a movie why is he" or "I wanted a stage show im so mad hes getting one" There is no jealousy between them. Its very nice to see
Okay can we most importantly get a vlog day where it's just Eugene, Raine and someone filming for them silently? Cause what a duo. And secondly can Eugene come on at least one pod a year/every time he has a new thing coming out.
I love that Ballister fulfills so many villain tropes that have been historically used against minorities, including his ethnicity and sexuality but also his scar/disfigurement and disability/amputation. The story teaches kids to question those as well, almost effortlessly. You truly created a new fairytale that the next generation of children will have in their repertoire alongside movies like Mulan and Ariel and that's just awesome.

When I saw that Eugene was announced as a voice actor in Nimona, I went to read the graphic novel asap! I’d heard of it before but he def spurred me to read it, I HIGHLY recommend it! It’s such a great story! So excited to see the movie and how the changes will work out 😄
i read nimona once upon a time in hs and could never find the book in stores or anything - i was OBSESSED with it!!!!! eugene mentioning how funny it is is so worth emphasizing because its humor was closest to adventure time in my opinion and thats exactly my fav type of comedy
