Maybe it’s because I don’t have a sensitive scalp but I’ve never presoaked or treated the human hair I buy and haven’t had any irritation. Feel lucky because it took me 8 days to add my extensions. Of course two years later I’m combing out my locs. I want them smaller.
ACV soak is a must! Got my extensions on Monday (thank you!) and I'm so excited. I will definitely be saving this video for reference. This video was very helpful and entertaining!
UPDATE: I have installed the extensions and they look great! The texture & color matched perfectly. I am soooo happy with the results. The only issue I had was interlocking the extention hair to my pre-existing loc. My locs were so tight it was hard to get the tool in but I figured it out. I'll be sending pics soon! ♥️ P.S. - you WERE NOT lying about them being permanent!!! I had to cut 3 of them in order to start over
You may have CCCA… those are some of the symptoms I had when I had extensions. Itchy and burning etc…definitely soak the hair in apple cider vinegar and water 💜
Hello, hoping you answered to a year later questions, I'm a new subscriber, just watched multiple of your videos because I've been inspired to install micro locs. Just got finished watching your 10 different ways to install video, but didn't hear how you mentioned you did in this video, I watched, but was slightly too fast for my eyes so I just figured I asked if you braided, twisted, or did both at your baseline? I also didn't see link, where you got your hair at this time, may I ask where? I'll be sure to soak it. Sorry this happened to you, turned out beautifully but I was definitely crying for you of how much you had to cut off, hopefully by now much has grown back since a year now. Love all your pointers.
Hey there! I created the Locs and installed by interlocking the loc to my hair. My most recent videos shows this exact method. My natural hair was braid for separation reasons.
Hmm! Good question. That could be yes and no because too small locs can pop, but micro locs allow them to not be pulled too tight with larger locs. I’m really not sure!
Was your extensions synthetic & why didn’t you do an ACV soak with the extension in? Why you have to remove them? 🤷🏾♀️ quite scary knowing the chemical is directly on your head soaking into bloodstream doing “Lord knows what!” thanks for posting
Girl, I know good and damn well you didn't install those and take them out 😂 😂 😂 OMG you poor thing! But honestly, you couldn't soak your hair and scalp on ACV with them in?
Again?! They look great but you can’t have great looking locs with a burning scalp. I hope that your next installation goes better after you pretreat the hair. 😆
I honestly hope you're doing great business-wise, but I would think that you need to show some longevity with your products, the loc extensions. If not on yourself, on some of your clients. You have to show that they work out in the long term.
This is the one I want. I love it. I have bern looking and searching. And out of all of your videos, this is it.

Are you in a shop now?…. Asking cause I’m calling after the holiday

Here’s how I made the Locs including the hair

Best method I’ve seen so far. Awesome job! How do you put the tool on the extension? Do you put it through
Thank you ! Yes you put it through as many times as you can
Okay i was watching you part and enjoying it 😂😂 the edit had me dying
😂 I hate parting!!!!
I LOVE this... what did you decide to go with? I swear I wish I was in our could get to you to bless my head I want loc extensions so bad
😭😭😭 it’s a secretttt lol.
@@LeyLocsI understand 😢 but whyyyyyy😭😭😭😭
@@elvsrae girlll I have to make sure I’ll actually keep something new in 😂
Hey Ley Locs!
During the first pass, did you rotate the hair ?
This video is awesome!!!!! Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤❤
Those are CRUTE 🥰😍🥰😍
Do you think micro Locs are better for thinning edges
Hmm! Good question. That could be yes and no because too small locs can pop, but micro locs allow them to not be pulled too tight with larger locs. I’m really not sure!
Can the extension be started on the ends of ur hair..if so can u show what u would do to install
It can.

It’s human hair and my crazy self rushed to put them in to be cute 😔
You should've tried doing the soak or wash with it in. I've seen videos where persons did soaks at home, with a bowl and they lie down on the floor.
@@salimagooding I diddd. Well I tried a spray. Head started burning more
How long does my hair have to be to get mircoloc extensions? Thinking about cutting my Sisterlocks off and starting over with microlocs.
About 4 inches
Did you ever cut your SLs to get microloc extensions? I'm growing out my SLs right now to do the same.
@@rochellthompson23 yes i did! I got my mircolocs installed July 2022
I can't with you, gurl!!!! LOL
Can’t with myself 😭😭😭😭 I’m sick of this
Could you wash the extensions in the apple cider vinegar while they were in? That wouldn’t help?
I tried to spray the vinegar and it burned so bad I only lasted 3 mins 😭
@@LeyLocs Oh no
Can these be installed on existing interlocks? If so do you have a video on it already?
I’m sure you can do the same method 😃
@@LeyLocs I just want to add length. So would I just interlock through the loc itself instead of at the root?
@@jacquelinesmith996 yes!
Definitely feeling them
Thank you!
You are something else. How do you dream up these things?
Lol!!! It literally do come in my dreams! I don’t get much sleep if you can imagine 😄
@@LeyLocs Yup! Also, when you sleep... you don't have distractions...your mind is opened to creativity
Gurl you CUT CUT ….lol…Good thing hair grows back
Girl, I know good and damn well you didn't install those and take them out 😂 😂 😂 OMG you poor thing! But honestly, you couldn't soak your hair and scalp on ACV with them in?
I’m pissed lol. So I tried to spray diluted vinegar on the hair and it made it worse. There was no saving 😂
Can you wash them while in?
Yes they’re supposed to be permanent
Hey! Question: on the initial pass, are you turning or twisting the hair??
Mmm not necessarily. If I do it’s not on purpose
You are hella funny 😆
I really wanna see your 🐈! Lol 🤗🐾
Oh no…All that work…
Lol you could’ve just did a detox 😅
I think I tried but the vinegar water mix irritated my scalp
