I have these clip-ins I bought them for my loose natural hair and never used them. Now that I am 17 months loc'd...Baaaaybeee!!! Thank you so much for this idea.
I just made some clip ins for my locs and have fallen in love. I’m almost 3 years and I almost cut them off 😢 because I didn’t realize how much volume you could lose once they are fully mature. But these clip ins and some curl smith temporarily hair color has saved me. ❤❤❤ it took me two weeks to make about 3-4 That’s enough for me.
The opening of this video is erryyyyythang! Keep doing these types of intros! Epic opening and so damn cute. What are you doing girl? That was my line 😂😂😂😂 I bought the other clip-ins you had previously 18 inches. To make this easier I put the clips ins on my hair first in one section and twisted them that way. Best decision ever and it felt like I was just doing my hair. I did the same thing when I used the crochet needle to make them into locs but I also used a small brush to help create the loc look. Instant volume! Instant beauty!
People looked at me crazy when I did this for my locs 😅. I love it! I had some expensive clip in that I didn't know what to do with after I loc'd my hair again. I was like I wonder... 😊
Loveddd this video! I have traditional locs, 15 months in, and I was just telling myself how even with thick hair I wish I had more volume. All the styles came out so cute and my fave was the low bun! Thanks for sharing!!
Pro tip! Before you clip the zip ties you could wash the clips as one and it'll save you a bunch of time and product the first time around! 💜💜 The styles turned out so pretty!!! I could hear you smiling through the voice over 🥰
I have a set of kinky clip ins i use exclusively for mini twists. This is a lift hack, especially for people waiting on their twists/locs to thicken. I haven’t made it to locs yet but i learned my mini twists routine from u, very thankful for the knowledge! ❤
I have super thin sisterlocs. Do you think this can work for me? I know having to make them smaller will take time but I'm willing to invest it to create the volume I need right now. I'm just wondering how conspicuous they will be. Thx for the video though. Great job!!
I love this! And glad I came across your Instagram. I just started my locs 4 months ago and I would definitely love some volume. I’m about to buy some and give this a try. My only thing is that my tips are blonde 😭😭 So I have to figure out how to/the correct way to dye them.
Wait!!! Do I have to choose a fav 😂?? I hit like right after the intro and the vid just got better and better 🥰 Just starting my sisterlock journey and can hardly wait to try these styles!!!
Which hair did you like better this or better length for this installation and why? Do you think this would work? On new loca to help with that plucked chicken look? And is the 18” length stretched or curly?
The beginning was the 💣 don’t think anyone has ever done that in all the videos I have watched. My question is why do you always wash and condition the hair? And should you wash and condition your wigs? Or what should you do to them before you wear them?
I appreciate that so much! ❤ I do because there can be chemicals on the hair from processing. Washing and conditioning can also make the hair more manipulative and easier to style. I don’t wear wigs, so I’m not familiar with the process with them!
@@KekeJ Love it! Thanks for your reply and continued inspiration! ❤I'm 1 yr 8 mo into my journey, and sometimes it be ROUGH and I need someone to look to 😭
Love all the looks, I just wished I was living in the states to come to you for a professional consultation. I’m thinking of microlocs but my hair to the front is a bit thin so I’m afraid and not sure if microlocs is the right choice. Here in the British Virgin Islands 🇻🇬 there’s no professional loctician, they do lots because they can
Wow! That’s amazing! Much love to you and thank you so much for your support! ❤ I also had that concern when I started my microlocs. My perimeter is fine and had areas that were prone to breakage. Now my edges are fully locked and grown the best they ever have. They definitely unraveled the most during my journey, but when they locked up, it was no looking back!
@@KekeJ Thank you sooo much keke for your response. I think you have helped me make up my mind, my problem now is for me to find someone who will give me that same pattern as yours because I love how your hair falls
the beginning scene is really confusing 2 me cus clearly the version of you to our left has longer hair than the you on our right. also dont you feel its wrong and weird to be buying and wearing another persons hair on your head? this industry shaves women bald that are desperate for money if they even pay them at all. i rather use synthetic hair.
It looks lovely, but I don't think this extra hair was required and this could have be done with synthetic hair and probably look more realistic plus save some coins!
That beginning scene was flawless !!
Ahh! Thank you so so much! 🥰
We need an editing masterclass because that intro was everything

Nice job… I’ve been doing this over a year now. Actually the synthetic clips work better. Both great results for more length and volume
I’ve done this with mini twist and braids. So I love this!!!
They look gorgeous. Such a cool idea

How does this hair do with dye? I have a lighter toned hair color…
You can bleach and dye this hair as you would your own!
🤍🔥🤍🔥🤍
This is way better than mist ppl add fake hair extensions to their loc permanently 😒

I’m sure it can! I just love the natural texture and I feel it blends better with my hair.

every time I see your videos all I can help to see is the resemblance between you and Max from Living Single 🥰🩷
