I locd on the 18 of July..(for the second time since 2021) started to retie some weeks ago. I did the front ear to ear and the back lower.. still have the whole middle part and I'm contemplating heading to the barber.😢

Beautiful! Your locs are gorgeous. I love a fresh retie. My locs aren't as small as yours, but I do the 2 pt rotation myself, sometimes over a 2 day increment as well. It's so worth it, especially when it's done.

This literally makes me want to go this route my next loc go round. I have watched you for awhile even when I had my medium thick locs I was literally in love with your micro locs. I'm current growing my permed hair out so I can get my locs back. I wish I would've thought about doing this before I decided to perm my natural hair. I could literally cry thinking about it. Your sizing is perfect.

I’ve been going back and forth if I want to retie over retwisting. I work out almost everyday and the twist just doesn’t be lasting and I feel like I’m wasting my time . Retie here I come. Beautiful job

Lol I only straighten my parts down the middle, from ear to ear and on the right side. Basically anywhere I might part my hair. Everywhere else i truly don’t care.

Some how I end up making holes even when I pull my tool all the way up. It's like the hair had gotten. Thick and locked in that area right below the new growth and it creates a lumpy space when I retie. I have to go through on almost every loc and do the repair. It slows me down and I haven't figured out how to avoid it. I've found a few small holes throughout and try to fix it as I see them. I get concerned the really small holes will cause me issues later. I'm almost two years in and so far no thinning but I know that could change. I may have to take one of my reties and just really examine all my locs and repair them all.

Oh, and I'm still dealing with frizz and I'm 2 years in as of 11/14/2023. Everyone says they like it for my volume. However I have very thick hair. Mine is horrible at the root. The frizz drives me nuts sometimes. I just have to stay outta the mirror...LORDT!!!!!

Took me 3 days to my first retie. I accidentally combined a few in the back so I had to let them grow out a bit so I can see them and fix it. I love knowing I can do my hair if I need to but I’m just gon spend my money on a loctician 😂😂😂
How do you know the direction the loctitian went if this is your first time DIY retieing? Worried about making holes

How have you been KekeJ, you are confusing us. The *H* and the *Y* are the same thing aren't they? The all-natural twist and paste is the best! Have used it faithfully since I learned about it from you

You don’t necessarily need it, I just like it because it holds down my fly always and it allows me to get the straightest part possible
