    I'm currently doing the build on my 67 and will have at least $25,000 in it when done, and a million man hours !
    But mine will not be a garage Queen !
    I'll be Driving it and using it like it should be !

    I bought a 66 396 ss used in 1970. Same color but spoked wheels. Loved it. Never had mine shine like that one. Driving it constantly and racing it in Dallas.

    I'm a Mopar guy and own a 69 Charger R/T, but if I didnt already have that, I certainly would've bought this. I've never seen a Chevelle this beautiful. Wow.

    Gorgeous build. The lean is funky though. Rear needs to come down another inch or two to level the car.

    I bought a 66 396 ss Chevelle new, the 425 hp ( the one with solids) Kinda that color (factory marroon) around 3 grand, with the red line tires. Went into the Air Force, never saw it again. Still think of it all the time. Beautiful car

      In 66 the big block 396 came from the factory making 325hp , you could however order 350hp or 375hp ,
      So you must have been high on something and it wasn't the air force ,
      No solid lifter 396 made 425hp from the factory

    Would have loved to hear that M22 with the 430 rear ,looks ain't everything even a short run would have shown its true beast inside . Had a 67 SS M22 the whole thing fun ass car grabbin rubber in all 4 gears wow

    I bought 1 in 1979, mine had a 327 w/4 barrel automatic... I saved 4 three years, so I may enjoy it... Turns out I had to sell it, to pay for my father's cancer treatments... my father pasted away July 1980. Now I see what mine looked like when I sold it... you painted yours my favorite Color, I want to ask you, what are you asking for your AWESOME car? I would like to fulfill my dream... thank you for sharing your video...

    Why would someone put 90k in parts plus 2200 hours of labor into a restoration thwn turn around and sell for 70k?

    4.30 gears with a 1 to 1 4th gear on a 28" tire. Good luck taking on the highway.

    What headers and exhaust? Shorty or mid-length headers, 3" or 2.5" pipes, and what mufflers and model. I'm almost done building mine 67 Chevelle and looking to finish the exhaust and like how this one sounds. It has not that overly loud where it sound like a tractor but still has a muscle car sound to it. Thanks for the info.
