That "blue" looks a mile deep.....I really like the body not being 'played with'. Great ride.
I'm guessing bright atlantic blue. Same as my old 98 mustang Cobra. Google that color, it's spot on.

What a beautiful car and great choice of colour! Sounds fantastic. Just shows you don't need to mod the body of a classic, the right wheels, ride height and choice of colour can make a car without heavy body mods!
That garage is the stuff retirement dreams are made of. Work hard, my friends.
My dad worked hard had a stroke on the job at 56 and had to sell his car, 5 years later on october 28 of this year he passed, pete's 1971 nova, hes the orange one, we built it 3 times over and the last we did every nut bolt and washer, window and piece of trim down to bare metal and put her all back together right. If i ever get the chance it will be bought back, Good luck on your dreams and don't kill yourself working to hard in the mean time, may God bless.

There is just something about a '66 Chevelle. That whole era of the box car that started in the early 60's and continued up into the 80's it was absolutely the best combination of square curves. Much prefer the front end over the '67.

WOW--I just stumbled onto this vid and immediately recognized ol Butch--He was a customer of mine at Berchtold --Equip.Co--. in Bakersfield-He had a backhoe service--WOW it looks like he's done real good since I saw him back in the 80's--Good looking car and the other ones in his garage are real nice too--If you can ,tell him big Dave from the parts department says hi--

Beautiful Chevelle...the body style speaks for it self..and I agree my 70 Chevelle keeps me feeling younger everytime I take her out and let her breath...ya gotta have something in your life that makes ya happy.

When you said Bakersfield again..... I suddenly recognized Butch, I've hung out on Friday nights at Sonic a couple years ago and he was there with his cars that red '57/56? in the background, it's a beautiful car and his Chevelle well, perfection again. Another great video, well done!

Great vid. Awesome Chevelle. Love that the exterior is stock. Really shows that the 66’ Chevelle is one of the most popular muscle cars from the 60’s.
I was watching and the house looked familiar when I realized its a house that I did all the concrete work at. I remember talking to him about cars and politics real nice guy the house and garage are huge nice to see it finished.

I’ll be 41 in 3 days and since I was like 10 I’ve wanted a 66 chevelle. My dad had a ‘69 396 and I fell in love with chevelles because of it. He also bought an 86 Buick GN new so that was another love of mine and have owned my 87 for 21 years now. Anyway this car is literally my dream build. I’ve talked about dropping an LSA in one since the CTS-V came out with it. Hopefully I’ll see my dream come true one day. This car..imo is the best body to come out of the 60s

Everytime it's said 600hp and up. I always (I know the physics) am seriously impressed, 'cause think about it, it's actually only 5 bolts on each wheels, pulling all that power. 5 bolts. That a side OH BOY that car is all the way gorgeous! It's subtle yet it's not. WHAT a car and the sound man! YES! And instead of growing up. Just, Bro up! Happy new year to everyone!

This build has 3 decades of styling mostly in the 90s. Very unique and you could say hes not copying anyone. Haven't seen brushed aluminum in the interior in a long time.
