Same... thinking I need a 70-71 Z/28 Camaro, IRS, long rod GenV LT1 built by Katech with a GeForce trans, and fitted _exactly_ like this, minus the paint.... I want to drive it, not spend weeks getting it to return to looking like glass just for a single drive to spend another couple weeks polishing 😅 Thinking Cortez Silver, black striping, black leather would do the trick 👌🏻 Oh, and a matching 70 C10, IRS again, matching paint (minus striping), AWD using Denali/Escalade goodies and custom parts, along with again, a Katech built 427ci LT with a Whipple and a Bowler T56.... should be good enough (and possibly a Singer built Classic Study 911)
This isn’t a Chevy Chevelle anymore. This is a Roadster Shop Chevelle now. It’s a shame Chevy doesn’t make anything with any soul anymore. Good on you guys. This is a masterpiece of automotive art.
I’m utterly speechless. That is, sincerely, the most beautiful, awe-inspiring car I’ve ever seen. What an amazing job done by everyone who played even the smallest part in bringing this car to absolute perfection.
Roadster Shop has built the best Restmods bare none. I love the wheels how the replicate the original rally style. Perfect is the word to describe this build.
That’s a special kind of build. Take my hat off to the owner and The Roadster Shop for sharing their ideas and the results of this project. Baddest Chevy 454 to me, now that’s a great 454. The ride, function and quality is great.
I love details based off originality. You always hear other builders say " it will still be in style 20 years from now" . That's rarely true because of wheels and outrageous interiors. This car will never go out of style because it was based off original. Original NEVER goes out of style. Many details I noticed but most will not catch the master cylinder lid. Right now people reading this will go back in the video to see what in the hell I'm talking about. Lol. Roadster Shop, you guys are LEGIT.
This is the first car I’ve seen where a 17/18 front/rear wheel setup looks great! I normally hate a staggered diameter wheel setup but I can honestly barely tell it on this car and it looks awesome. Great job RS!
I'm a 70 Chevelle SS freak. Had one back in 76. Loved that car. If i ever had the money to get another one. I would want it to be done like this one. Just the other day i was thinking if that day ever came. I would want a wheel and tire package like this. Great job
Saw this at the good guys show in Pleasanton. It’s a work of art. Most of the people didn’t realize how ridiculous this car is. Roadster Shop killed it
Well i guess im gonna start watching you tube videos on building cabinets so in 75 years i can have a car built like this. I dont think these guys are chasing perfection anymore because they nailed it on this build for sure. From the tucked bumbers n every single panel gap interior paint n body absolutely flawless.
I went to the Chevrolet dealer with mom and dad at 8 years old in 1970. Mom planned to buy a Nova. I saw a cranberry red Chevelle Malibu 307. A look at that front end and hood, I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. I begged them to buy it. They did, and I eventually learned to drive in that car. If I had known better at the time, I would have looked for a higher number on the fender. Amazingly well done guys! I’m starting to sound like Jay Leno now, “when I was a kid”…
I have 2 Spec Chassis, and all I can tell you is I'll be buying more. It's a couple of notches below aerospace quality and provides everything you'll ever need. Thanks for bumping up the build quality to another level.
May very well be the most desirable 70 I've ever seen . I bought my 70 LS 6 off the showroom floor and didn't realize all the flaws from the manufacturer but it did kick a lot of ass
In 69' when the new Chevelles came out it was my all time favorite. 69 Chevelle and 69 Mustang Mach 1 were on the top of my list. Then when the 70 Chevelle came out it took a few months to grow on me, now its a toss up between the 2. I was a few years from diving age still but was a car nut since I was a tyke in the late 50s. My first car was a hand me down 65' Ply. Ironically the first car I ever bought with my own money right out of HS in the mid 70s was a 69' Ply Road Runner. Current car and daily driver today is a 2017 Super Sport Camaro 6spd manual. Love it. Bought it new, now have 72k miles on it.
The fitment, spacing, fenders, stance, whatever(!), are perfect. That's what makes it stand out from the Saxton(?) car. Just that more modern and refined stance make this the near perfect vehicle. Thanks for building it!
Machinist for 31 years here and you want to talk about OCD, look no further...to the point of loading the dishwasher man 😆. This is the most perfect muscle car I have ever seen. KUDOS to you and your team of builders!!! Party at the moon tower baby......LET'S GO!!! 🤘😎🖤🤍
Holy moly Batman that is incredible!! I think my favorite part is the fact that the engine looks period correct but it's a modern reliable piece. Great job Roadster Shop!!
Awesome Chevelle, I'm 66 & loved muscle cars, fast cars, hot rods all my life! Currently own a '23 Camaro ZL1, 6 speed. Love everything about the car!!
Whenever I'm sitting in traffic, I look around and see nothing but gray and white crossovers, they all look a like. Cars like that Chevelle have personality, especially compared to all the same old boring crossovers and econo boxes that are out today.
Probably the nicest 70 in the world, OMG, I'm speachless. Thank god it has all the old style trim and door handles. If I see one more Kindig door handle I will puke.
One of my dream cars would be a Roadster Shop 1971 Chevelle, done up just like this one, but with the 1970 front end on it. No vinyl top & tuxedo black like in the movie, "Faster" starring the Rock but with all the RS engineering in it.
Man. I now know I'm poor when I couldn't afford anything on that car. But man that would be sweet to own and drive. I love the stuff this place puts out...
The 70 chevelle is so iconic. No matter who you are or where you live in the world, the majority know what this car is and what it represents. Hats off to you guys at roaster shop for such a beautiful build. Definitely my kind of build. Simplicity. Alright Alright Alright. 😅. Oh, and ps, nothing beats the sound of an actual bbc. Beautiful nonetheless. 🤙🏽🤙🏽
That intro was one of the reasons the LS6 ‘70 Chevelle has been my all time favourite muscle car . My uncle also owned an original in green . Killer build 👌👏. Only thing I would do different would be an OG motor with some modern twists. I just couldn’t do an LS based motor . Has to be a Carb and have the right sounds . None the less , I like this one 😎👊
To my builders eye, the car looks like it was rendered by AI to a level of perfection on film that it doesn't look like a real car. The in studio shots are unreal.
I am not a Chevelle guy. But this is amazing. The details turned this from ugly boring Chevelle, to amazing and stunning. The bumpers, the stance, wheel placement, ... all of it. Makes a world of difference.
You guys are the best at what you do. Automotive amazing. So much class and everything else. Every little detail. I have more fun watching these than anything else. I would do just about anything for a "Roadster Shop Build" of my 65 Riviera 🙏🏼
If I ever win the lottery Roadster Shop is building my collection, you guys are A1 top of class at what you do!!!!! Never seen a bad build !!!!
Same here come on Lotto
My thoughts too. They’re premium.
Same... thinking I need a 70-71 Z/28 Camaro, IRS, long rod GenV LT1 built by Katech with a GeForce trans, and fitted _exactly_ like this, minus the paint.... Yea, that 69 Camaro they did for Joe Rogan sent me off dreaming... If I had a spare half mil laying around, I’d say done deal.
100% Agree
This HAS to be the cleanest, straightest most amazing restomod of a 1970 Chevelle ever built. Painted black to boot....Gorgeous.
Looks like it was carved from lava glass. Incredible body work. The blocking and wet sanding alone must've taken weeks.
This isn’t a Chevy Chevelle anymore. This is a Roadster Shop Chevelle now. It’s a shame Chevy doesn’t make anything with any soul anymore. Good on you guys. This is a masterpiece of automotive art.
Blame the government, regulations ruined so many cars
love the way Roadster Shop doesn’t change the classic car look and Fabricate it to death.
I’m utterly speechless. That is, sincerely, the most beautiful, awe-inspiring car I’ve ever seen. What an amazing job done by everyone who played even the smallest part in bringing this car to absolute perfection.
The name of my childrens college fund is now "Roadster Shop Chevelle fund" Absolute masterpiece guys!
I save up a bunch of money for my kids college and he didnt go, so I spent it on my Chevelle. lol
Roadster Shop has built the best Restmods bare none. I love the wheels how the replicate the original rally style. Perfect is the word to describe this build.
Is it weird that I got goosebumps multiple times watching this? The details blow my mind and crazy that most people wont even notice them!
Naw man, it ain't weird if you love hot rods you're gonna get that feeling!
That’s a special kind of build. Take my hat off to the owner and The Roadster Shop for sharing their ideas and the results of this project. Baddest Chevy 454 to me, now that’s a great 454. The ride, function and quality is great.
Jesus! Cleanest Chevelle ever!! The stance cannot get any better!!
I've been looking for this car for a long time. Absolutely flawless
I built my car myself from the ground up.
Since I did that I have a new respect for guys like this man.
I love details based off originality. You always hear other builders say " it will still be in style 20 years from now" . That's rarely true because of wheels and outrageous interiors. The perfect Chevelle and worth a million dollars ! Absolutely amazing !
This beauty with a 150 shot of nitrous would be pure perfection. Built cars are extremely underrated art pieces !!
This is the first car I’ve seen where a 17/18 front/rear wheel setup looks great! I normally hate a staggered diameter wheel setup but I can honestly barely tell it on this car and it looks awesome. Great job RS!
17:52 when you switch to the picture of the Original Chevelle it is EVIDENT how much you turned this into a piece of art. Perfection in my opinion.
Roadster Shop killed it
RS you have just lifted the bar that much higher with this build…perfection all the way❤️
Well i guess im gonna start watching you tube videos on building cabinets so in 75 years i can have a car built like this. I dont think these guys are chasing perfection anymore because they nailed it on this build for sure. From the tucked bumbers n every single panel gap interior paint n body absolutely flawless.
great comment. was thinking the same, if only I could build cabinets like the owner of this car. :)
Got to see this car today. Wow it was absolutely stunning. Excellent job and spec.
I went to the Chevrolet dealer with mom and dad at 8 years old in 1970. Mom planned to buy a Nova. I saw a cranberry red Chevelle Malibu 307. What a work of art. Always blown away by RS builds.
I grew up in New England in the 70's-80s and saw lots of these but they all had significant body rot. This one is simply gorgeous wow.
This is such an amazing build and a joy that they shared it with us,also Jeremy addressed it just right.

God if there ever was picture of perfection this would be the definition. Excellent execution team!
Just unbelievable detail everywhere . The stance of the car , paint etc...🎯🏆
The fitment, spacing, fenders, stance, whatever(!), are perfect. That's what makes it stand out from the Saxton(?) car. Just that more modern and refined stance make this the near perfect vehicle. Thanks for building it!
I’ve built this car a 100 times in my head. Thank you for doing it for real. Just perfect! 🔥
A truly unbelievable build!!! Honored to play a small part in these amazing creations. RS with another home run🔥
Machinist for 31 years here and you want to talk about OCD, look no further...to the point of loading the dishwasher man 😆. This is the most perfect muscle car I have ever seen. KUDOS to you and your team of builders!!! Party at the moon tower baby......LET'S GO!!! 🤘😎🖤🤍

You guys can just be a RUclips production company based on the work you do. I can sit here and watch this stuff ALL DAY LONG. MTV on steroids!
Whenever I'm sitting in traffic, I look around and see nothing but gray and white crossovers, they all look a like. Cars like that Chevelle have personality, especially compared to all the same old boring crossovers and econo boxes that are out today.
People love it when I am out in my Chevelle. Its red and stands out but there is something about Chevelles that draw people in like crazy.
Very impressive detail work and craftmanship all over this car.
Absolutely beautiful!
Probably the nicest 70 in the world, OMG, I'm speachless. Thank god it has all the old style trim and door handles. If I see one more Kindig door handle I will puke.
I had a Chevelle back in the early 80's. Sure wasn't anywhere close to this. Getting the itch again!
I absolutely love this awesome 1970 chevelle 😁😎
By far, my most favorite build from the shop yet! But I know there will be another someday! Thank you to the whole team for this project
Ok I’ll watch this a 5th time
I hope to do business with you in this lifetime. Roadster Shop has legendary reputation in muscle car resto-mod industry.
It’s true art on 4 wheels. I would like the SS on the grille along with clear front turn signal lenses. Standard Malibu had orange.
I agree and add Chevelle style steering wheel
The doors fit so well, the whole side of the car looks like a continuous body panel
The 1969 chevelle SS was the sexiest Chevelle ever.
I approve that statement!!
This is literally my dream car! 🤤
Absolutely effing beautiful..........period
One of my dream cars would be a Roadster Shop 1971 Chevelle, done up just like this one, but with the 1970 front end on it. No vinyl top & tuxedo black like in the movie, "Faster" starring the Rock but with all the RS engineering in it.
Man. I now know I'm poor when I couldn't afford anything on that car. But man that would be sweet to own and drive. I love the stuff this place puts out...
The stance is phenomenal 😮😮
70 Chevelle is my all time favorite Muscle car.
Wild car. It’s so perfect that all the glamour shots look like renders. RS raising the bar, once again
The rear bumper "gap" has been filled in with more bumper. Its flawless!
One word: Awesome!
My all time favorite '70 Chevelle, y'all built a bad ass machine!
Good Lord - its magnificent!!!!!
cheers to the editor!
Absolute perfection!
That wins best build of the time, ever.
Amazing. Unbelievable attention to detail. You guys are state of the art. If I didn't see it, I wouldn't believe it.
THE best builds, nothing compares.
STUNNOMENAL!!!

The best car show is at the drag strip but a car like this just to see it out getting driven hard is right there 👍
Damn! That is a perfect build
Absolutely a dream car you just gotta keep Livin man L-I-V-I-N
another stellar build, never get tired watching these reviews......kickass man
To my builders eye, the car looks like it was rendered by AI to a level of perfection on film that it doesn't look like a real car. The in studio shots are unreal.
I thought the same. It is so clean, it looks fake
Don't wake me up. What a dream
Jeremy, that is an amazing build, perfect.. Period
These cars actually rode pretty good from the factory as most cars back then.
This what I like to see, bad ass cars actually getting driven
Amazing detail, beauty, and quality. I would tighten those visors, change the amber marker lights, and add an original looking steering wheel.
nice build
You guys are amazing. !!!!
You just keep raising the bar!!
NAILED IT!!! From every angle👍👍.
RS U GUYS DID THE DAMN THING AGAIN ANOTHER ONE OUT THE DOOR, THAT SS IS ON FIRE 🔥 FIRE 🔥
That shot where you're "cruising" down that 35 mph speed limited section of road sounded and looked so good. And fast 🤟
Truly amazing build! Aced another one, Roadster Shop.
Absolutely beautiful
Perfection. Truly Amazing.
Damn… just damn that thing is Beautiful!
Fairdinkum bangin build fellas, love your work
Nicely executed build and great vid too. This is the way I would do it. Now all I need to do is win the lottery.
Very cool well done slick Original looks.
This SS dope as hell bro love how you broke everything down on what all you have done to car👏🏾💯
I must say Ur builds R always wicked...😎
Alright alright alright!!! been waiting FOREVER for this video!
Shawn will recommends some harness seat belts on this car!! Awesome ride!! 😎
