The Chevrolet Chevelle is a mid-sized automobile that was produced by Chevrolet in three generations for the 1964 through 1977 model years. Part of the General Motors (GM) A-body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates. Body styles included coupes, sedans, convertibles, and station wagons. The "Super Sport" versions were produced through the 1973 model year and Lagunas from 1973 through to 1976
My dream car. Had an Aztec Bronze 396 SS in HS that I bought for $900. Nobody wanted them during the first gas crisis. I wrecked it in the rain a couple of years later and gave it away.
Was glad you took time out of your busy schedule to say hi to me on power tour. I know you were very busy at the time so I appreciate it
next video should the wagon coming apart and getting new floors. that chevelle is beautiful!
That car is 👌👌👌
Awesome job Lucky
Thanks 😁
Yeah baby big block power got to love it
Holy cow! For a minute I thought you painted Chev Hell!!😳 Nice ride!👍
Love old Chevelles. I had a 67 SS 396 back in the late 70s. Miss that car.
Love those spirted shake downs on the close course!🤣👍👍
Great as always
Thanks again!
I do enjoy watching your videos. Cool cars, great work, and the humor is awesome! I look forward to being able to do Power Tour and meet all of you guys in person.
Hey Butter ! Lol Love the Chevelle! Smooth and fast ! Rear end ? No problem Lucky can fix it ! Glad your going to be on the sene ! Peace and love brother !
Love your style
Nice tour, super sano, thanks Lucky 👍
Thank you too
LUCKY!!!! MY DAD'S 66 CHEVELLE IS ALMOST THE SAME COLOR BUTTERNUT!!!! LOOKING AMAZING BUD
Butternut was a '67/'68 color . This '66 is Lemonwood yellow .
@@bobbrinkerhoff3592 he painted his Butternut
@@BigKayo1986 that would do it . Butternut was a couple of shades brighter than Lemonwood. Opinions varied as to which looked better .
Great color in and out,
That is a Beautiful Rig Lucky!!
Nice looking Chevy for sure.
Let’s go
I was on my way home from work the other day on my stroker Harley and swung down to Mexico for a few hard pulls. I mean, it's so convenient to slip across the border in mere seconds and make sure the carb is just right.
Love the color
Always cool to see what you are up to. My buddy had a 66 Chevelle in high school. 283 with three on the tree. It was fun to rip around in. Keep up the bitch'n work!
Looks like there's a stallion in the corral ready to come out"
2:28 She SALTY!!! 😁
I was worried you painted your Chevelle. Thankfully, you didn't!
Somehow, the algorithm has kept my feed from suggesting your videos!
As for the cabinet clowns, you need to build an LS-powered leaf blower to send them the dust they send your way.
Fantastic Job nothing over the top look as it should.
Thank you very much!
Awesome
Damn you have 2 66's and I just want 1!
It’s a customer’s car
Would love to see a video of the rear axel work, if possible of course. Great videos Lucky
Sweet!😎
Respect
Looking good 👍👍
Thanks 👍
That 396 sure looks similar to one I ran for a couple of weeks in my pickup. Engine history story that was told to me was: Built by a speed marine shop. Only shop I knew of was way out on East Mission Blvd, near East End Ave. Any-who; had solid lifters, huge rocker arm studs, prob. 3/8 inch push-rods. The crank was turned .040 under, (biggest rebuild flaw that I noticed, besides the 396 platform inherent insufficient beef of the mains; to handle what this builder did to the upper side of the engine). Sold it for what I paid for it, back then it was: $300.00… (Difficult to comprehend price comparison back then, compared to today). Bottom line: Had not experienced an engine run so strong, plus gain nearby attention. Engine sounded like it had power, even at idle. The Chevelle you just drove, sounds about the same without the loud valve-lash clatter. Thanks for sharing Lucky.
Beautiful car!
It sure is!
Good looking car
I had 67 Chevelle 283 power glide bucket seats it was a nice example of a Chevelle unfortunately I totaled it in 1978 .😢
My 66 leaked all of its brake fluid last week. Filled it up and its fine. New prop valve coming.
Kool
Nice
My uncle had a 396 SS & a 454 SS. He said the 396 was faster--better power to weight ratio.
Happy 4th of July Lucky 🎉🇺🇲🎆
That Chevelle is so sik!
Love the thumbnail pict!
It's got the right amount of gluga, gluga. I would really like to put EFI on my 1967 Ford Mustang 289, but I'm just to much of a cheapskate. My first car right out of high school was a 1965 Chevy Chevelle Malibu SS. Maybe someday I'll find another one. 6=8.
A Chevelle that has been painted in Lucky's shop? I didn't know they came in a color other than red primer.
Woah bro. Show some respect! It's a red OXIDE primer....not legal in CA 😂😂
Do you have an idea when you’ll install the Deltapag radiator and fan set up?
Dude!!! Nice video!!! Butt nut yellow!!! Looks good!!!✌️
Im gonna hit up those Buddha Boys tacos on Sunday 👍👍👍🍻
👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
I wouldn't take a car like that anywhere near Mexico.
At first I thought he painted his...
Oh, and grease the door hinges
“ Mexico “
Thanks for the video luck keep up the great work guys 👍
You bet
She pretty
Lucky , How did you get the park lights to come on at the same time as the headlights on your 66 Chevelle ?
The 66 Chevelle park lights don't come on at the same time as the headlights , this is the way the 66 was made , but your 66 Chevelle
(Red Oxide ) black hood the park lights are on when the headlights are on
Nice! But make mine with a carb., FI no bueno. Danke.
Lucky, is 15 volts too many volts? Did you see the guage as you revved it?
what mufflers Lucky?
What is the original color of your Chevelle? Just curious
Cabinet shop guys so inconsiderate that’s rude to let sawdust blow outside. I knew a cabinet shop they had a dust collection system
