You’ve earned a subscribe bro thankss. I stopped snapchat today, I am a overthinker and I feel so bad when my friends’ don’t take me with them while hanging out, by watching their snap I get anxious everytime. It’s so toxic atp. I just want to leave a peaceful and private life.

Thx for this man. A lot of people talk about self improvement and becoming a "G" or whatever but don't talk about how negative social media is. Some very valid points. I believe it is not as bad as some of the main social media apps but it is definitely something to be aware of. They all kinda suck though.

Yeah man. This is crazy. I see people in my school having 50000 people who send them snaps. And it's literally like their forehead or their pants or whatever.

SC is a major time suck. Some feel like it is the only way to stay in touch. Why do we have phone numbers if we only use social media apps? I hate it because many times, things can be said in less than a minute but they go on a 20 minute snap conversation.

Instead of deleting snap, I unadded everyone I don't have actual conversations with because I find it hard to delete snap due to my memories and the fact that some people I talk to only use snap to communicate 😭but by keeping my family and real friends added, I have found that it is much more enjoyable and peaceful :)

You’re right man rn I have Snapchat and I was kind of debating wheater I should delete snap or not bc I thought to myself this is kind of stupid to go on Snapchat and do nothing but mindlessly watch other ppls posts and send streaks. I’m prob gonna use snap less now until I don’t have to go on it anymore then delete it for good

It’s up to you, but it’s definitely a decision worth making. As someone who was very addicted to it and then quit, I now feel the true benefits a year later, as I have saved so much time and my mind is at peace, Goodluck

ive been thinking deleting snapchat for a while now as i already overthink alot and i think snapchat makes it worse,so im deleting it today as i want to prioritise myself but i feel really guilty that im deleting it,any tips?

Good on you bro, don’t feel guilty about it, nothing wrong with prioritising your mental health. Just delete, wait some time, see how you feel. At first when you delete it, you may feel a strong sense of loneliness and emptiness. Most people don’t realise how much Snapchat actually preoccupies you. But after some time you will realise who your real friends are and your life will feel more peaceful
