My hubby got me one of these plants today. Im so grateful. Love all the water loving plants. The rubber plant also loves water and can grow as dar as I know in water
Xanadu is one of the hardiest Philodendron plants I've ever had. Water it frequently? Great! Forget to water for 2 weeks? No problem. This plant is a trooper that survives so much abuse from me. XD Want it to stay small? Give it less root space and less fertilizer. Want it big? Give it a lot of root space and fertilize accordingly.
Love that description of the Xanadu! It’s so on point! Yes my plant is still doing very well. It’s can find it in a recent video. 2023 HOUSEPLANT FAVOURITES | Easy/ Beginner friendly & what I learned about them ruclips.net/video/lbANtpXflcw/видео.html
I have a xanadu living in water but it’s already root bounded and the leaves are turning yellow so I decided to transfer it in aroid mix soil but still it’s leaves are turning yellow until one last stem is green 😭 what am I gonna do to save it from dying? 😭
I don't know if yours is still alive but from my experience the plant is very hardy. Cut back the rotten parts and try to re root in sphagnum moss or perlite. I've had great experiences with keeping them in soil if you let the soil dry out a little before watering again. They tend to rot if their roots get too wet for too long and tolerate being kept too dry better than getting too wet.

Thank you!!❤
You’re welcome 😉
Hiii! I have a question, which fertilizer do you like to use on the water? 😘
Hi! I use Miracle Grow Plant Food. Just a tiny bit. It’s strong

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear about that. How much light is it getting?
@@luciansteph I placed it outside our window with shade so it can get bright indirect sunlight during the day
@@jennilyntsai9607give it liquid fertilizer, a few drops a week. Change the water biweekly.

@@JP-uf9sh it’s still alive…. Already transfer it to soil using aroid mix… no root rot… now with two healthy stems/leaves 🙏
