Can NAD help in nerve recovery after DJS? My lower lip is so numb that I bite chunks out of it when eating. Week 9 post op, the teeth and lower lip feel like they don't belong to me 😢

So interesting you asked this, because it is something I've been wondering myself and actually made a note to ask my dr about this - since starting the NAD, I do feel like I've gotten more feeling back in certain areas where I still had a little bit of numbness, and was wondering if maybe it was a benefit of the NAD (although it could just be that more time has passed too...)
I'm not sure there's any real research or conclusive evidence on this?? But given NAD's effects on inflammation/cell growth/DNA repair etc., I think it certainly could be helpful!
That said, you're still quite early in your recovery process and I'm sure you will continue to get a *lot* more sensation back with time. But I feel your pain and I'm sorry you're in that phase right now! I hope things continue to improve for you and it gets easier/more comfortable asap!

@@meganschall Dear Megan, you give me hope. I was researching petides, but many common ones can promote tumors. I'll look more into NAD. To all, who read this, don't do DJS for cosmetic reasons.
