    🥣 Crackers/bread ingredients:
    200g | 7oz | 1 cup green buckwheat groats
    100g | 3.5oz | 3/4 cup sunflower seeds
    100g | 3.5oz | 3/4 cup pumpkin seeds
    2tbsp oil
    salt to taste
    🥣 Dip sauce ingredients:
    100g | 3.5oz | 1/2 cup dried chickpeas
    1 onion
    1/2 bell pepper
    250g | 8 oz silken tofu
    1tbsp lemon juice
    1tsp Dijon mustard
    1tsp smoked paprika
    1/2tsp dried herbs
    1tbsp nutritional yeast
    Salt to taste
    1oz | 25g diced carrot (optional)
    1 tbsp chopped spring onion
    🧑‍🍳Cooking tips:
    ❗Feel free to add your favourite herbs and spices to the recipe to get your favourite flavour.
    ❗Dip sauce is just an idea, you can have it with hummus or any other sauce or dip you like.
    🥣 Method:
    Soak 100g | 3.5oz | 1/2 cup dried chickpeas and 200g | 7oz | 1 cup green buckwheat groats in a cold water for 8 hours.
    Rinse chickpeas with water and drain.
    Place in to a pot.
    Add water and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Rinse buckwheat with water and drain.
    Place to a food processor.
    Add Add the following ingredients:
    100g | 3.5oz | 3/4 cup sunflower seeds
    100g | 3.5oz | 3/4 cup pumpkin seeds
    2tbsp oil and salt to taste
    Blend and scrape down the mixture.
    Blend one more time.
    Spray or drizzle with oil parchment-lined tray.
    ℹ️ I use 10 inch | 25cm baking tray.
    Spread the dough evenly on the tray.
    ℹ️The dough is sticky, slightly oil your hands or alternatively you can use a spatula.
    Spray or drizzle with oil (optional).
    Bake in the preheated oven at 360F | 180C for 30 minutes.
    To make the dip sauce chop 1 onion, add pinch of salt and cook on medium heat for about 3 minutes.
    Cut 1/2 bell pepper.
    Add to the onion and fry for about 5 minutes.
    Add the following ingredients to a food processor:
    Cooked chickpeas
    250g | 8 oz silken tofu
    1tbsp lemon juice
    1tsp Dijon mustard
    Cooked onion and bell pepper
    1tsp smoked paprika
    1/2tsp dried herbs
    1tbsp nutritional yeast
    salt to taste
    Blend until mostly smooth.
    Add 1oz | 25g diced carrot (optional)
    1tbsp chopped spring onion.
    Cut into pieces and serve with chickpeas dip sauce, avocado or your favourite dip sauce.
    You can also have it on it’s own or as a snack. It’s so delicious and highly nutritious! ❤️

    This looks very delicious. Now trying to decide if I want to make it. It seems time consuming. Remember I mentioned I'm lazy when it comes to cooking. I usually throw a salad together and be on my way. I know I'm missing out on some really good food ideas from you. Lancy, you gorgeous kitty, I love you.

    Never had buckwheat so i never have it in my pantry. Any suggestions? I don't have a problem with gluten, I eat it all the time, but I do like alot of gluten free foods also. This recioe looks delicious. Thank you

      i would recommend you try buckwheat! it is such a versatile ingredient, and i often have it on its own because i like it so much! I get mine at an eastern european store but you can always order online! Thank you for watching this recipe!❤️🥰👋

    If you want low oil, use water to wet your palms of your hands to spread the mixture out. Works for me every time since I don't use oil at all.

      Alot involved.. imagine 20 pans going at once making everything from homemade egg roll wrappers, to homemade pizza/pastas.
      Remember the character was named MR. POTS in the BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. It's all about how many pots, and if you can dance the waltz in ya kitchen in a lot of ways.. BE A DREAMER!!

      Dogs can be healthy vegans, it is not a good idea to make cats vegan. They cant get all the nutrition they need to stay healthy. Sometimes you just have to overlook certain things for the love of a cat, their companionship is so rewarding.

      It's all very good fat and not that much of it anyway! In this recipe you get some fat from 100g pumpkin seeds and 100g sunflower seeds and it's all very good. Good amount of plant based fat is good. Thank you for watching and have a nice weekend!

      ​@@WeCookVeganThanks for another great vegan, gluten-free recipe. It's all good fat, and high in protein, potassium, and magnesium. I might roll the biscuit into either a square log or a round one, chill it and cut into individual biscuits. Alternatively, after spreading on a baking sheet, I might use either a square or round biscuit cutter...I'm excited to make these...
