Hey Steve what you have done with your trucks is truly amazing. To see these works of art actually being used is a testament to you and your family for supporting the time you put into this. Tony Villa.
Wow that’s a cool looking cabover. A few years ago I had to go to Europe for work and took in a few truck shows. I came away thinking it would be great if someone “back home” would get creative and restore vintage cabovers. Well you’ve definitely made it happen…
It’s lucrative only if you move consistent load from a Ton, which is why freight brokers like my self keep the truckers going . It’s truly rewarding also when you don’t have to drive a distance to drop your load.
That's a beautiful Transtar. Love seeing those old cabovers being kept alive. CVOP looks a lot different than it did 40ish years ago when I was hauling in and out of there. No drive over pits in those days.
i wish freightliner would bring back the flb, or even the argosy for that matter. i miss coe's....i run mail in a 660 volvo and it simply feels like a ford escort for the trucking industry. mail running is a local job so i dont need all the bells and whistles of a conventional sleeper
Very nice truck,my uncle had one just like that, but not that nice like that one is,my dad brought it to the house when I was little, and I never forget it
Hell yeah , I was just thinking about that to myself that's just like the International Transtar in Terminator that tanker was pretty sweet too, until it got blown up !! But the lighting and everything looks like the night before judgement day LOL..😉
I'm from southern ontario myself and our family farm we have a 1977 Transtar 2 it's got the big cam 350 with the 13 spd eaton fuller I did a inframe rebuild 4 or 5 years ago and it runs good put a bigger turbo on it then the little one it had before and it runs good turned the fuel up on it a bit and it's a great work truck I love driving it every year. the COE's are a thing of the pass and gotta keep them going. Are you running the original gear in that truck or did you update the engine and that.
God damn that’s beautiful! Well done on that build! That’s style and class all in one rolling piece of art!

Who knew that hauling beans could be so lucrative.
I've never seen a transtar look so good.
Is it lucrative?

What kind of beans are loaded inside that grain hopper trailer? Please reply back soon anyone!!! Thanks!!!
Anybody out there tell me why the incredibly long wheelbase on the Transtar -- better ride for the driver or what ?????
slimchancetoo if it’s gotta be explained, you’re not gonna understand.
That's one BAD unit driver
All that wasted space behind the cab on the red peril Am I missing something?
Boa noite galera tamos juntos aq no Brasil.
