I love these. They're somehow so beautiful yet so ugly at the same time. Absolutely fantastic. I wish they made an 03 version, as I believe they only made De Stijl 1, 2, and 4, correct?
DC05 definitely should have been done as it was a cylinder model of the DC04 just like the DC02 was of the DC01. Then there could have been a full set.
Lift the cyclone up all the way until it unhinges itself. For an old design that’s really nice. I wish the Fantom Thunder had a removable cyclone assembly so I can take it off and wash it. The major disadvantage to the Thunder (the US market version of the DC01) is that the cyclone assembly was built into the machine, so it couldn’t be detached and washed. It also didn’t have a pre motor filter like the DC01 so dirt always got into the motor. A very dumb design compared to the DC01. Anyway your an awesome mentor and I have learnt many ways of restoring older Dyson vacuums from watching your videos. Kudos!
Cool isn’t it! I love the Fantom Thunder they really look interesting! I’m surprised they don’t have a pre motor filter however, did they ever lose suction at all? Thank you for the awesome comment it’s certainly made my day!
I never liked the motors in these, they put them in the absolute as well, and some of the later standard DC01s They just never seemed as powerful with this motor even with the hepa filter removed, they felt so underpowered when pushing them compared to the standard models, it was the same with every one of these I had, don’t know why dyson felt t he need to change the motor, the later standard models that had the same motor as these De-Stijl felt so underpowered as well
I've missed these voiceover videos.
I don't know what to say you are the best person on the internet❤❤❤❤❤❤
I like that DC01 DeStijl! It looks new.
Thank you!
As a Brummie, you're actually a great 👍🏼 speaker.
Exactly what I thought I'd sound too common 😆
@@amandajones8346 He actually sounds better than some Stokies.

They really are cool! A DC03 version would have been epic, yes you’re correct they only did the DC01/02/04 De Stijl
hi chance

0:50 I knew there was a yellow one! The purple one is for the Absolute +.

Great enthusiasm, Parwaz. You're adorable. And I mean that in a good way.
Thank you 😄
I wish dyson still made unique colorways for their vacuums!
Me too! I miss the bright colours they did
@@parwaz7861Same goes for Windows, iOS or anything else.
Ever since the DC17, they always used dark grey. I liked the light grey and yellow colors of the DC15 and earlier
Dyson dc01 is epic

These are very cool machines, wish we got them in the US market.

LOL this isn't a first look. We've seen it before.
Edit: That was a DC04 De Stijl. Never mind.

Nope, I wish I had one!
