The memoria is so distorted that I expect the "rules" of dreams and reality are also not functioning properly. Also, if Black Swan can exist outside of the dreamscape with her artificial form, maybe Misha has similar abilities? Also, Misha seems partially based on Goethe's Faust, specifically his technique "Wait, You Are So Beautiful!" which creates a "Dream Prison." I wonder if that means he's supposed to be a moment frozen in time (like the dreamscape itself)? If he's a moment in time AND part of the Watchmaker, that actually makes him a bit like one of Dottore's segments, interestingly. (Though I'm doubtful Dottore would make a segment to preserve childhood innocence lol) There's also a strong theme in Penacony of people wanting to end their life (at least two of the NPCs we help try to jump...). I wonder if that connects to the Watchmaker somehow? Most of those NPCs we help with Clockie are very thematically linked to the larger story, and there's a heavy focus on death.
