Great tutorial! I want to do a split screen like shown in this video, however i want the right hand side of the final product to be the "centre" section of the source video. Is this possible?

Thanks for the tutorial. I'd like to make a split screen with 2 x 2 or 3 x 3. I assume conceptually it's the same but it doesn't seem intuitive, is it a question of using the grid on the Pan/Crop screen in the Video Event FX? Is there more documentation available?
but what if I want the whole picture in the split? Why am I forced to crop? It would be great if I can chose any part of the picture and then move it wherever I want instead being limited to a certain crop. I hope you get what I mean

Is this effect (or at least the controls) available through the Pan/Crop window as well? If not, this would make it easier to get to, especially for those who are used to the previous method of cropping video.
Yes, you can accomplish this with the Event Pan/Crop tool, but it is a far more complicated procedure (Set Size about Center to Off, Set Lock Aspect Ratio to Off, and set Maintain Aspect Ratio to No)--which is why we developed this plug-in!

This was harder to pull off than it should've been. No choice but to use the template I guess.
You can just use Pan/crop. Super easy and quick

Pull up your video event fx, and to the very right, you will see an f+ and fx button. Click the fx button and it will remove your selected plug-in!
