I have used Vegas for years and will continue to use it, but the Bezier Masking tool is not intuitive or user friendly at all. I appreciate the attempt, but damn, logic was thrown out the window when this tool was created.

Please please please, make it possible to zoom into the preview window, like in other programs (scroll wheel). Otherwise, it's almost impossible to mask anything properly.
May I suggest the developers take a look at a bezier drawing program (such as CorelDraw) to see how bezier creation should be done. First of all, when editing a mask, you NEED to be able to see what you're masking, so this should be a default of edit mode. Next, most drawing programs let you double-click a point of a bezier line to add a node. Single-clicking (or right-clicking) a node allows you to edit that node, including changing it's type or deleting it with a simple press of the delete key. Clicking and dragging the line between nodes will often change the control handles so the line goes where you drag it. Otherwise, this masking plugin is a welcome addition.
This effect shall be improved, other companies do not have this unnecessary complex 'edit mode' option and a list of tools not directly accessible through easy-to-remember icons. EDIT: again, disabling this Edit Mode option to see how actually the clip behind looks like is a very inefficient option. Imagine how much it shall be stressful during very complex masking shapes, coming back to that Edit Mode every single time to see the final effect. How stressful.

The editing tool works when I add it to the videoevent-FX, but not when I add it to media effects. It's a pity because my masks are normally related to the video content rather than to a video event, so in my view, it would be really useful if the tool was working there too.

They are asking how u set the fucking preview window in vegas to be larger....so they can mask the fucking object properly cause its impossible with only a small preview window. Answer: You can drag the viewport's box vertically to expand it down and this will make it bigger, but at the cost of decreasing screenspace for ur timeline. I can't find any answer online other than the comments that it doesn't have a way to do so.

I need to know how to make a transparent image follow the video below it smoothly. This video ALMOST got me there... then stopped. It's literally a rectangle that needs to follow another rectangle that's moving in the video below it. WHY is this so hard to find?! Why did you stop there?! *Cries*.
I want to be able to shape the entire body of someone or something. Please think of a way to make this tool better in the future. It has potential, but it isn't practical. Especially when it comes to small details like hair or fur strands if that is even possible.

I want tracking masking for body parts and not just specific 4 pointed square ones which Vegas has yet to accomplish. Thanks anyways, but the method you showed me above is something I've already been doing for years now and even then, their tutorial isn't practical either since it doesn't mask frame by frame, especially to a format that's live-action. Any maskings/green screens I make now are entirely done frame by frame and I want tracking to do it for me so I'm not spending as much time and stress accomplishing that getting done.
