Hey Jack - just watched a bunch of your videos - lots of great insightful information.
I love my 2014 Fiesta ST & installed studded ice/winter tires when driving in winter in Winnipeg. Controlled slides are Bliss. So I know how beautiful winter tires are. FYI - sadly the ST is showing it's winter driving with surface rust showing up in several places-;(
I am taking delivery of a GR Corolla soon & don't want to drive it in winter to avoid the salt - even though it would be soooo much fun with the AWD. I want to get a set of tires for the GR that will work in 3 seasons (dipping into a bit of snow in spring and fall just for a bit of sliding around fun). And a tire that can work well while gravel and dirt surface hooning/drifting...
I posted this in your Porsche skewed video as most of what I want in a tire is what Pirelli has done for Porsche.
So which tire is close to what I need? ie - driving it like a Rally car...
    THX

Hello Terry B. These guys here have a great video about Rally tires that you might want to watch as you decide what to get: ruclips.net/video/-I74uopkcro/видео.html. Also check out Falken Tire. They make tires for motorsports, and even have fitments for the new Corolla you're getting: www.falkentire.com/

@@jacktalkstires THX for the feed back - very informative video. The Falkens look good. I am considering this tire "Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 Plus" which is an UHP A/S tire.
BTW - new Corvettes are now shipped with UHP A/S tires which kind of adds some credibility to this segment of tire.

@@TerryManitoba Conti makes great tires, so I'm sure you'll be happy with your choice. As for the Corvette, GM sent me a news release this week, and it said in part that the new Corvette comes with "staggered 20- and 21-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires are available with an optional performance package."

@@jacktalkstires THX - the GRs are just now arriving to Wpg dealerships. So mine should be about 2 months away.🧨🤙🏻

Been looking at videos and reviews of this tire. Looking to put the 19" tires on all 4 corners of my Audi allroad!!! Would love to find a more comprehensive version that sgows how they really do in the real world. Highway, dry/wet/snow vs offroad sand/dirt/mud etc? I do a lot of highway driving, but also go offroad(ish) in the allroad, but i also do snow storms too. Wondering if this tire would fit the bill or if winter tires for snow still be required 🤔

I wish they made one to fit on a Land Rover discovery sport

I am having issues with wear, vibration, difficulty balancing at less than 15K miles with my ATP 265/70/r16 on my '19 tacoma off road. If you go to review's on tire rack (i think) and filter to the 1-3 star reviews you will find many people with the same issues as aforementioned in this comment. Tires were like new when I bought the truck (30K miles). I rotated at 34500, balanced at 34600, rotated at 40600, got very bad vibration/wobble in steering at 65-75MPH, balanced next day and its better but not great at 75MPH. Service coordinator suggested new tires if problems continue. Tire technician remarked about quality issues with these tires. My experiences. Find the bad tire rack reviews.

These tyres are really noisy. I have them on my SUV. They were quiet initially but now they are noisy (especially around 80km/h and above) even though I rotate them, align them and inflate them properly.
