Glad you guys had a great time at my home park. :) Steel Vengeance is the most insane coaster I have ridden (out of over 1000). It wasn't the airtime. it wasn't the smoothness. It wasn't even the speed. It was the confusion. Ha ha. The reason you wanted to ride Magnum is the exact same reason I was so happy to ride Bandit in Japan. It was the coaster that inspired Magnum, even though they are nothing alike.
I wish it had been nicer out for you guys! That Saturday it was in the upper 80's and beautiful at KI. I saw the forecast for Sandusky and was like hell no!
If you wanted to get to Steel Vengeance earlier for early entry at 9:00am you could've walked outside the park on the eastern side to the norther entrance in between Max XL-200 and Gemini then done the running of the Bulls to get on the 1st train or two of Steel Vengeance. Shame only one train is running, and that the ride is often down due to Mechanical issues.
Excellent vlog, gentlemen, and welcome to America! If I'm not mistaken, the UK has two roller coasters taller than 200 feet (Stealth and The Big One), while Cedar Point now has six. Weather permitting, I'll be making my first Cedar Point trip of 2018 (a two-hour drive or so) this weekend. I'm really looking forward to Steel Vengeance. A bit of trivia you may already know: Magnum XL 200 held the records for tallest coaster in the world and fastest coaster in the world for about two years, but then was surpassed in both categories by The Big One.
jpwcpa As it stands, only two coasters over 200ft as you say and both inspired by coasters in the States. I love the story of Geoffrey Thompson riding Magnum and deciding “yep, I’m having one in Blackpool but bigger”. Pleasure Beach were offered the Kingda Ka “model” before Thorpe Park pressed ahead with “Project Stealth” but the sudden passing of GT at the time and money trouble meant it was something they couldn’t do. Thank you for watching :)
Well this has always been a bucket list of mine since I went to Orlando. Didn't think it could be done so cheap. You've opened my eyes, opened them as much as we've just booked to go next month. You've earned a new subscriber. And many thanks for the heads up.
I was there that day! Steel Vengeance in the front was a tad bit underwhelming but it was fun riding Mavy and the other coasters again. Hope you guys had an awesome day and nice vlog!!
Interesting! I've been on four RMCs now, and only Lightning Rod and SteVe had restraints that SOMEWHAT bothered me. On Wicked Cyclone(I've been on it) and TT(been on it) you should be fine. Again, I'm a smaller dude so that might be why.
Glad you liked CP! I live 3 hours away so I go there every summer. In fact, I'm going in a week with my best friend and then going again in late August. Cedar Point is amazing :)
Loved the vlog, brought back some amazing memories of my own. I had my 1st ever visit last May as part of a mega roadtrip and loved it - missed out on riding TTD and Magnum tho cos was feeling ill from the sun the day before. I’d definitely recommend Kings Island and Kennywood, they were great too! Your vlogs have made me start looking at cheap flights to go back and ride the stuff I missed, and of course Steel Vengeance! 👍 Gonna go watch your Icon vlogs now; I’ll have to get over from the north east and ride that beauty this year!
I live in Ohio but I live in Columbus Ohio and here is hot but all the videos I’ve been seeing about cedar points it’s been windy and I’m going next month so idk 😭 hopefully it’ll warm up
Sankay Jones Hopefully you have better weather than we did, typically it got much better in the final hour of us being at Cedar Point on the following day. Hope you have a great day at CP.
It feels really strange to watch a bunch of brits vlogging from this incredible iconic park . Makes a refreshing change from all the american channels i usually rely on .Top quality stuff Scott , yourself and the chaps look truly thrilled to be in this holy grail of a place . Superb video .
Yeah it's great to see positive, honest reviews. I find most of the American channels to be off-putting...except for a few. I think almost all of the UK vloggers do a smashing job!
Did you buy the Cedar Point jackets out of necessity, and how much were they? I love your reaction to Magnum. The last time I rode it in was in '07, and I was heavily into No Limits. As we hit the turnaround, my friend and I were calling out "Smoothing tool, Smoothing tool!." One of the tips I've followed for a more enjoyable ride on Magnum is to make sure that the retractable seat belt is nice and tight.
Smoothing tool haha, does make me think of planet coaster now! Absolutely loved Magnum, some of the profiling is awful but I think that makes it great in truth. We all bought the jackets because we underestimated the weather and none of us took warm clothing.
We paid £348 each for accommodation, early access, two days on the park, two days unlimited fast lane plus, all day dining, all day soft drinks and unlimited ORP purchases. Fast lane plus can be bought individually on their website too.
POVs are not permitted by Cedar Point, even Theme Park Review aren't allowed to do POVs there. We paid £348 each for accommodation, early access, two days on the park, two days unlimited fast lane, all day dining, all day soft drinks and unlimited ORP purchases.
Aside from the large coasters, Cedar Point has some obscure coaster history. The kiddie coaster, Wilderness Run, was the first coaster built by Intamin in 1979. Schwarzkopf built the park's Ferris wheel and Frederick Church, an early coaster pioneer, designed the park's Racing Derby carousel in 1920.
RMC should turn Gemini into a dueling, racing dual launched mobius loop (like Twisted Colossus but with a dual side by side launch instead of two lift hills)
You should see Andy's vlog from Paulton's, he posted today mates.......sunny and warm in the UK!! LOL.....I spotted that GateKeeper hoodie when you were walking in the par....I mean car park. Great footage of Steel Vengence......if only you could make it down to Kings Dominion and see how magical a RMC conversion (Twisted Timbers) is. I am a bit disappointed Blackpool could not save their mouse......but I know where to find a good ol' wooden mouse in the US. You should have included food reviews too. Detroit has some really good hot dogs (that's a compliment from Chicagoan). Great Job though!!! Been waiting for this. Maybe Shawn will get a rollback..........
Thank you! :) The food was OK at Cedar Point, special mention about the bread sticks and hot dogs, they were lovely, the fries on the other hand were crap!
only in the US for a couple of days...and already calling your chips..'fries'...goodness what have we done to you. American fries have become a soggy, greasebomb mess of a potato the last 10 years or so.....especially at the amusement parks.
God this park looks so cool. I would much rather give my money to this place instead of Alton Towers. It already looks much more worth it than any theme park in the UK
Great vlog guys and proper jealous. Just out of interest roughly how much did the trip cost. I'm in Essex and not far from Stansted so would definitely go from there if I could. I've never been to the US but Steel Vengeance seems to be calling me. And of course Cedar Point. Looking forward to the next video.
All in, around £700 each, we did go a bit mad with the bundle we bought through Cedar Point which is what bumped the cost of the trip. We paid £348 each for accommodation, early access, two days on the park, two days unlimited fast lane, all day dining, all day soft drinks and unlimited ORP purchases.
Pleasure Beach Experience thanks for the info mate. I actually think that's not too bad. Was that 2 nights hotel? Do you think its worth going all that way for just 2 or 3 days to visit the park? I've seen flights into Cleveland cheap but not direct. Is that why you went to Detroit? Cleveland is around 50 miles i think from the park and Detroit a 2 hour drive.
We decided on Detroit because it was so cheap, I would recommend 3 days at the park to give yourself more than enough time to do everything as much as you'd like to do.
halcyondaystunes you can quite easily visit Kings Island too, if you've rented a car (only real way to travel there I'm told). It's only a few hours away and I think they sell a combined Cedar Point/Kings Island ticket.
Pleasure Beach Experience you guys had a much better experience than we did in my vlog, half the park was closed and steel vengeance had a 5 hour line when it wasn’t shut down. Hoping to go back next weekend for a better experience
I don't know if your answering my question or asking my opinion. In my opinion, his opinion, is rubbish. Glad you had a great time at the park. It's truly one of a kind!

We heard a few rumours of a GCI woodie at Cedar Point for their big anniversary. Magnum XL was flying despite the high winds on Saturday, never been to SFMM.
I did get stapled on Steel Vengeance and hurt my penis at least 2-3 times on the double up to the MCBR; and I was riding the back car. Thing is: the uphills are the only parts of any coasters where front is more intense. I alway rode back car, except the one time I rode the 2nd back car an the other time I rode the 3rd back car. The front car would have turned me into a woman. I'm so lucky I prefer the back.
Thanks. It's such a hyped ride that nobody wants to admit that. It's still a good ride but next time I'm gonna have to get graphically descriptive as part of pleading my case for them to please not staple me, and I don't want to get banned from the park in so doing.

a tip : you can watch movies at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.
@Micah Kairo Definitely, I've been using Flixzone} for years myself =)
@Micah Kairo yea, I've been watching on Flixzone} for months myself :)
I wish it had been nicer out for you guys! That Saturday it was in the upper 80's and beautiful at KI. I saw the forecast for Sandusky and was like hell no!
It was a vile day on Saturday, thankfully Sunday was much nicer! Kings Island is on our to-do list for 2019.
Paolo Thanks, something to consider next time I guess, though I was happy sitting out Steel Vengeance tbh.
Excellent vlog, gentlemen, and welcome to America! If I'm not mistaken, the UK has two roller coasters taller than 200 feet (Stealth and The Big One), while Cedar Point now has six. Wow what a park. So many coasters! Weather was a bit “Pleasure Beach in Feb” though, haha. 😀
It felt familiar in the Magnum XL station on Saturday, an Arrow Hyper running one train in the bitterly cold wind!
Haha, opening day at BPB all over again!
It's in the middle of a huge lake so yeah it's gonna be windy
Jawad Jaddaoui There’s no doubting location, but wasn’t expecting it to be *that* cold 😬
Well this has always been a bucket list of mine since I went to Orlando. Didn't think it could be done so cheap. You've opened my eyes, opened them as much as we've just booked to go next month. You've earned a new subscriber. And many thanks for the heads up.
Wigan Gaz Awesome, when are you going Gaz?
Pleasure Beach Experience this Thursday pal
Wigan Gaz Have an amazing time, please let us know how the trip goes :)
Pleasure Beach Experience Will do 😁
Just got back. What an experience.
I was there that day! Steel Vengeance in the front was a tad bit underwhelming but it was fun riding Mavy and the other coasters again. Hope you guys had an awesome day and nice vlog!!
Coaster Cupcake SV is good but the thigh crush really ruined it for me, if all RMC coasters are like that they’ll need to change the restraint system.
Interesting! I've been on four RMCs now, and only Lightning Rod and SteVe had restraints that SOMEWHAT bothered me. On Wicked Cyclone(I've been on it) and TT(been on it) you should be fine. Again, I'm a smaller dude so that might be why.
Great vlog guys! I fly out on Sunday for 5 days of fun! All by myself but that doesn't really bother me!
I planned to go alone initially, have a great time :)
Thanks. I loved hearing your thoughts on the park :)
Theme Park Showcase Great :) We have another vlog to come too but you’ll probably be there when it’s uploaded.
I will make sure to watch it if i have time!
Theme Park Showcase
How was it?
Glad you liked CP! I live 3 hours away so I go there every summer. In fact, I'm going in a week with my best friend and then going again in late August. Cedar Point is amazing :)
We can't wait to go back again next year, we're looking at going around May time again :)
Pleasure Beach Experience Have fun! Hopefully the weather will be a bit better. ☺
Lol hopefully!

Gonna go watch your Icon vlogs now; I’ll have to get over from the north east and ride that beauty this year!
Thank you Paul, we absolutely loved it out there, hope you manage to find some good flights :)
Mr Brown Hey, decided to have a read through the comments here and wanted to say I’ve now done Kennywood too, absolutely loved it! 😀
Good vlog guys! It does look a great park. Steel Vengeance does look pretty spectacular!
Thank you :) Please check out our newest SV video too; ruclips.net/video/dRzf6gYLZ7Q/видео.html
Glad you guys had a good time at my home park
Thank you, we loved it :)
Fantastic vlog guys! Coaster after coaster. What a great park that looks!
It makes the Pleasure Beach look like Gullivers World!!
It is crazy, everywhere you turn there's a ride :)
oh dear, someone doesn't get sarcasm
Keep up with the great content guys! Really helpful.
Thank you for watching and commenting

It was a dream come true to be at Cedar Point.
Looks like fun to ride the roller coaster.
Thank you for watching and commenting
I get to go to cedar point soon. About 3 and a half hours away.. I’m scared for TTD, Steel Vengeance, millennium force.
Have a great time :)
Pleasure Beach Experience. I will! Thank you!! 😁
Steel Vengeance is a must Millennium Force get over the drop and you 👍
Demetrius Brooks ok thanks!
Demetrius Brooks Millennium Force is a good chance to have a sleep after the first drop in fairness.

It is well worth visiting :)
Pleasure Beach Experience how much was the fast track?
We paid £348 each for accommodation, early access, two days on the park, two days unlimited fast lane plus, all day dining, all day soft drinks and unlimited ORP purchases.
Fast lane plus can be bought individually on their website too.
FloRichDa Vlogs you should!! It’s absolutely amazing, Very fun!
another great vlog , was it busy in the park how much for 2 days park access and fast lane and was you not allowed POV;s
POVs are not permitted by Cedar Point, even Theme Park Review aren't allowed to do POVs there.
We paid £348 each for accommodation, early access, two days on the park, two days unlimited fast lane, all day dining, all day soft drinks and unlimited ORP purchases.

Pleasure Beach Experience did you guys ride the racing carousel Cedar Downs?
If Morgan ever re-tracks magneum it might start cracking people’s top 10s more often in my opinion. Do you think they should do that?
No, it needs to stay as it is.
Brilliant vlog guy's, what an awesome looking place.
Thank you Andy, would most definitely recommend it to everyone who is a coaster fan.
How long was the wait for Steel Vengeance? I got fastlane plus for my next visit on May 26th and I want to know how long to expect.
ObsessedWithLin Last year it was on one train with no fast lane plus available on it during our visit
Pleasure Beach Experience
I believe they’ve changed that now, because it was on the fastlane plus list on the website.
ObsessedWithLin Thankfully in summer 2019 we managed to do it a lot more
Was it very expensive for the holiday ?
About £700 in all.
How long do the queues take with the speedy pass?
We always walked up and got straight to the air gates, the only long wait we had all weekend was Steel Vengeance.
How long were the lines?
the golden dubya It was mostly quiet, but still glad we got fast lane. Be sure to check out our 2019 CP vlogs too 😀
RMC should turn Gemini into a dueling, racing dual launched mobius loop (like Twisted Colossus but with a dual side by side launch instead of two lift hills)
Felice Graziano Na. They already have steel vengeance and 3 launched coasters. Plus Gemini is a nice smooth kind of thrilling family ride.
You should see Andy's vlog from Paulton's, he posted today mates.......sunny and warm in the UK!! LOL.....I spotted that GateKeeper hoodie when you were walking in the par....I mean car park. URUSOIMI They were definitely fries and not chips :(
LOL
Where did you buy your hotel and what did you book for extra + where?
We booked directly through Cedar Point.
Pleasure Beach Experience okay which package did you use? Or was it all included by the hotel?
It was all done on their website, they give you the options as you go through the booking process.
Would love to visit this place! Great vlog!
Thank you guys :)
Great video lads. Well jealous
Thank you :)
welcome to america guys
da jo Thank you :)
Great vlog guys. Cedar Point looks like an amazing park! Will Icon be better than Maverick though?
Karl P Travis It’s hard to say, the second launch is incredible on Maverick.
Icon has ten years of progress on Maverick, so it's possible
Most parks only close rides when there is lightning
One day I'll get there
I must visit CP soon, great video boys
Definitely Mark!
God this park looks so cool. I would much rather give my money to this place instead of Alton Towers. It already looks much more worth it than any theme park in the UK
Master Knife It’s the best park I’ve been at, no doubt about it.
Alton Towers has world class theming though, theming too "scary" for American parks (except of course at Halloween)

Jealous!! What a fantastic place, Great Vlog Guys
Thanks mate, it is an awesome place and I'd recommend anyone to go there before Florida.
Wholesome
You finally made it!
We did :)
Pleasure Beach Experience you guys had a much better experience than we did in my vlog, half the park was closed and steel vengeance had a 5 hour line when it wasn’t shut down. Hoping to go back next weekend for a better experience
You had such a great time you should change the name of your vlog to Cedar Point Experience
Not sure that'll be necessary
A twelve year old struggles to get to cedar point from the uk
Not sure why he likes Kingda Ka better though
I don't know if your answering my question or asking my opinion. In my opinion, his opinion, is rubbish.
Glad you had a great time at the park. It's truly one of a kind!
yfz01 He’s welcome to his opinion, CP is amazing.
yfz01 I’ll be able to judge for myself in June 😀
Goliath is an amazing ride but I wouldn't have thought it would be better than millennium force
Edward Almond Millennium has an epic first drop, it did nothing for me beyond that.
Millennium Force is all speed with no airtime.
100% agree!
Superman Ride of Steel opened at Six Flags New England that same year, and it's a far superior coaster in every way. There is airtime galore, and forceful changes in direction. Unfortunately, it got overshadowed because it wasn't at Cedar Point, and it also didn't break any records.
RY30DM yeah I've been told it's better I would say the best ride I've rode is Goliath soon to be shambhala
You had a bad ride on millennium force huh?
Jawad Jaddaoui It just doesn’t do much after the first drop
0:00 turn on the Jurassic Park music dudududuuududududuuududududuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Coaster Onrider Explain? :)
Pleasure Beach Experience well the reveal of How beautiful that skyline is with a lot of coasters close together that’s just breathtaking in my opinion just like I had when I saw through the trees of Polonasia area: Shambhala.
ruclips.net/video/D8zlUUrFK-M/видео.html I meant this one to avoid any confusion
I can't wait to go in 2019. Magnum looks great but I think... *Personally* the big one looks better
I did think the same but after hammering Magnum XL the following day, I can't help but think Magnum is slightly better.
Pleasure Beach Experience I'll have to try it out when I go but the big one was flying around a couple of weeks ago. I got fantastic airtime on it. I feel like CP needs another woodie. Have you been to SFMM?
We heard a few rumours of a GCI woodie at Cedar Point for their big anniversary.
Magnum XL was flying despite the high winds on Saturday, never been to SFMM.
The jealousy I’m feeling is next level.
Same
Man like Rich! 🔥
Top lad!
You should have gone on bungee
How can Furious Backache be your favourite launch coaster? Its pitiful man. Like being pushed in a shopping trolley into a brick wall.
Benjsh 85 Personal opinion :)
I’ve never had backache after Furius Baco, I rode it during my recovery from cancer, it’s really not that bad.
Benjsh 85 We all like Baco but then we don't tend to follow the mould of most enthusiasts
(The common opchinion)
I can't believe I'm going to say this after bitching about how long TPW vlogs have gotten, but I wish this was longer, lol.
Matt Man Me too! I’m annoyed at not filming more, I haven’t started editing day 2 yet but I will be hoping for a longer final edit.
I did get stapled on Steel Vengeance and hurt my penis at least 2-3 times on the double up to the MCBR; and I was riding the back car. The front car would have turned me into a woman. I'm so lucky I prefer the back.
Paolo We rode it in the middle and it still felt brutal, the restraints are a nuisance and badly designed.
Thanks. It's such a hyped ride that nobody wants to admit that. It's still a good ride but next time I'm gonna have to get graphically descriptive as part of pleading my case for them to please not staple me, and I don't want to get banned from the park in so doing.
Kingda ka is nowhere near as good as dragster
Beastmode543 Having now done both, I agree
Stupid Millie was down all day for me. Tsk tsk tsk.
Dragster is better than Kingda ka
Yep, I've been on both now :)
I'm still trying to figure out what people like about Magnum so much most overrated ride ever
Most under rated coaster, no idea why people hate on it so much
@@yourexperienceguide it's boring and rough I prefer smoother ride like millennium Force and hurt the legs
@@YourPointOfViewPodcast Millennium Force is the boring coaster out of the two, it’s got nothing after the first drop
@@yourexperienceguide well we both have different taste for coasters I see
I was kinda hoping to experience the rides not to listen to people saying what the ride was like
Next time search for POVs rather than a vlog, we play by the rules on this channel and respect when amusement parks ask us not to film POVs.
