Proper music selection too! I am never convinced by those that play the same old same old polite audiophile recordings that do not fully test a speakers ability to be accurate across the frequency spectrum. Electronic music is such a great test as there are so many delicate layers interspersed with deep bass that it takes a great speaker to fully capture this. Probably why many shy away from electronic music because they only get to hear it on speakers incapable of presenting the full sonic soundscape.
There are a lot of "audiophile" voices that go crazy when seeing a phone recording and I can tell you they are 100% wrong and st*pid. I can hear the timbre of a loudspeaker with a phone recording, which is exactly what I listen for in the first 10 seconds of any audition. If the timbre is right, then I can move to the more complicated stuff. There are 100k $ speakers with wrong timbre, men's voices sounding childish or even women-like, with no weight, when the recording should have it, which is wrong. Thank you for the good music and awesome presentation! Keep it up!
I feel like all 3 are good.. one isn't better than the other. It's all just room size dependant. What is the size of this listening room, and what speaker sounded the best in there?
All three sounded close, the main difference is in the bass extension and volume, and slight variance in size of soundstage. My guesstimate is the showroom is around 5M (16ft) X 10M (32ft). X6 sounded best but costs nearly twice of the X3
I ordered X1, but hearing this comparison, I would definitely consider X2... as X1 did sound like the harshest and brightest of all. Would You agree? Or is the microphone? Did all have the same run time?
That's what is great about audio there are butts for every seat. I own the X3's but can't see somebody that likes a speaker like "say Harbeth" might not like the Borresens. The Borresens sound way different using the Axcess amps than the AGD audions that I use, It really sounds like a different speaker with AGD it is very emotionally involving. cheers!
@2013brzsubaru Agree with you. Matching of components and matching of the system to your preference are super important. BTW I am using the AGD Audion MkIII , it’s really good
Please like and subscribe ❤
A superb presentation. Borresen are indeed a premium design, but they justifiably Deliver!
Thank you so very much for posting.

Brilliant comparison! Many thanks ❤️
Thanks for subscribing 👍🏼
All three are fantastic speakers! Thanks for sharing.
Glad you like them!

Unfortunately I had to edit off some of the songs as RUclips blocked them due to copyright, and I’m left with these clips.
The guys at Lone Crow Audio made me an Amazing Deal on Borresen and Axxess combo... the ship all over too!!!
Thanks for sharing
A HUGE THANK YOU for playing real music (and not pling plong sounds) 💜

Thanks for the positive feedback!
Well, you've honed wrongness to perfection.
who say is a phone recording?
I put in the video description that it’s recorded on my iPhone.

4,2m x 6m which one do you recommended 🤔🥸
@andrzejmalicki4727 I’d go for the X3
What is the name of the mix at 16:44 mark ? Im trying to tag and add it . Thx
Hi that is a free tune from the video editor 😁
These sound amazing . How do they compare to the new C-1 just launched ? Has anyone heard both ?
The C1 has not arrived in Singapore yet, will get to hear it end of the month
I hear they sound amazing but the X1 is no slouch. Do you know the price point difference between the 2
C1 is a little better but for the money I take this one
C1 is Doble the price, but if money is no object to you, go with the c1
@louisbolivar8013 where the law of diminishing returns come into play. Twice the price doesn't really mean in this case twice the performance
I ordered X1, but hearing this comparison, I would definitely consider X2... as X1 did sound like the harshest and brightest of all. Would You agree? Or is the microphone? Did all have the same run time?
The X1 was indeed harshest of the lot, it might have due to very little run time as it just arrived a few days ago.
I was wondering how these speaker compare to the Focal Diablo Utopia Colour EVO Bookshelf Loudspeakers?
Hi I’ve not had the opportunity to compare them yet
Great video ... I've shared it.
Kudos on a nice store visit. =)
Which are you getting?
Thanks, I’m not sure which speakers to get yet. I plan to check out others as well. Btw nice RUclips channel you have, I’m now a subscriber 👍🏼
@Giulia8017 ...Aww.. Thank you!.. Its slowly growing. IG & FB too.
Have you seen the frequency response of these speakers ... they're diabolical!
I saw from Erin’s RUclips. But take a listen if you can and share your opinion
How much does the X1 cost in SGD?
Retails at SGD 9.5k and stands 1.5k before discount
Pound for pound probably the best speaker of the day. All of them sounded as good as it gets. 👍
Can know what model and watts to drive these speakers ? Tq
The speakers worked great with the Axxess Forté 1 streamer DAC amplifier. It is rated at 100 wpc.
Ah, I see 2 sets of speakers here. Which pair is the X2?
The X1 are the bookshelf speakers on the stands. The X2 are the smaller floor standing speakers
@@Hifihobby Thank you 😊
Great comparison!!’
I have X6s and love them, but let me tell you that god save the queen song is horrible! lol
Great choice of speakers. About the song choice, will try other songs next time 😅
I would love to see the X6’s in this comparison also. More than a minute at the end. 😊
The main feature of this video is the X1. I’m planning something special for the X6, stay tuned. Please subscribe to be notified
What is the first track called please nice demo 👍 real music 😂
Its Make Us Stronger by Ghost Rider
@Giulia8017 thanks very much
They sound impressive many ways, but they leave me cold.
Lacks emotional involvement

@@Hifihobby Me too, I might add I added a couple rel carbon special subs and they integrate very well, what pre amp do you use?
I’m using the preamp built in the Eversolo A8.
@@Hifihobby the Børresen is a great speaker, just not my cup of tea.
I have returned to the Audiovector R1 Arrete
How much is x3
List price of SGD 19,500
When it went quiet I could hear other music
Hi on quiet segments I’ve inserted a background music to make it less boring
That song is awful and offensive to christians.
Hi it’s a test track to test dynamics and no religious offense intended.
