This is so helpful. I had gotten sick with COVID in July and I am experiencing lots of hair fall, and I usually have thick hair. My hairline is thinning and though I am taking vitamins, supplements, and working out to help my body recover, it has been hard to style my hair for when I have to work in the office. Thank you for being direct, insightful, and offering solutions instead of the many other videos I have watched from other people…
Until my hair recovers I’ll have to try sea salt spray.
Have you tried exfoliating your scalp? Sometimes the follicles get blocked from buildup of products and that can cause hair loss. It's something that everyone needs to do on regular basis.

The best thing to do is get highlights and trilights. This makes it look much thicker, dimensional and the scalp then becomes almost like another layer of hair and looks the best.
Yes, but it causes hair damage that is not repairable. I'm growing out my damaged hair from years of color. I will never put that stuff on my hair again.

I'm a girl and this is the most useful video I've watched so far about this kind of hair. I still need to beg my hair dresser (and all the others before this one) not to fill my hair with oily products or foam and to try and get them to understand I need my hair to be kinda short and layered because otherwise it will be a pain for it not to flatten out even more, especially at the top, which is something I totally hate D': Thanks!

This is good information!! Since I’m getting older, I’ve noticed a section of my hair getting “wavy/kinky” on the right side of my head. Upper crown area. I may need to try out other products (like yours) to clam that area down.

This is very helpful really! I used baby powder once cz I was really late and didn't have the time to wash my hair, it was epic I really loved the result, but I don't think it's healthy to use it frequently tho 🤔 I also cut my hair using one of your videos and I loved it ❤️

Can you tell which type of hairstyle will suit ?
I have very thin coarse hair (I've been told this is normal for redheads?). That is type 2b/c, with some rare type 3a baby hair curls underneath.
The salon I went to was telling me to not do layers because I already have less strands!
Is there any realistic way to keep long hair (down to my waist) if it is thin, or should I just resign myself to doing the big chop up to my shoulders?
i've tried using volumising shampoo, sea salt spray, blow drying and then vo5 powder and although it does hold my hair in place, if anything it makes my hair almost look even thinner at the front. i don't wash my hair too often and i even tried not using conditioner this time (as that may help with giving volume, not being weighed down etc). i think it could just be because i need a haircut badly but would be nice to find a solution for the next month of lockdown.. 😭

Finally!! Thanks for this video. I have long, wavy, thin hair. It can be a pain. I've tried several products. I've had the most success with sea salt spray, and a volume spray. I've also tried a gel.
What do you think about gels and volume sprays?

I have thinning, fine, curly, dry hair. And it is kind of a pain, but manageable. But the biggest problem I have is that my facial complexion and eyes are just like the one in the video; I am so tired of scaring old ladies and young children with my thousand yard stare . . . . LOL

Typically when referring to thick or fine hair you're referring to the individual strands. Density is more of just how much hair you have.

@@Bullethealth Think of the difference between fine hair and thick hair like sewing thread vs yarn. Obviously nobody has hair strands as thick as yarn but for the purpose of visual that'll help you.
