Welcome to New York
I live here but live in one of the Bronx. Wow what a transition from Texas to here. You’ll love it. Big culture shock but you’ll be ok. Thanks for the tours. Always wanted to know what these apartments were looking like inside now I know. I live in the Bronx but work in the city so am here every day.
I’ve been on your channel for several months but didn’t know you guys were moving. Loved your previous organization of your home in Texas. Can’t wait to see what you do here in NYC.

Congrats again. You are going to find so much to do in NYC. Again, I used to work on the PATH Trains which takes commuters from NY to NJ. Since retirement in 2014, I moved 2 yrs ago to Delaware. But originally from Jersey City, I miss NY, Times Square & all it has to offer. Enjoy!!!
I think your apartment was a great find! I hope your adventures in NYC are amazing (I've never been, our plans were changed by COVID the past year for travel lol). I totally agree with your comments from your staging house tour that having the chance/ability to move around and experience new places & people won't always be available, so you guys are gonna have tons of fun! Excited to see how you decorate!

I hope you will enjoy NYC! It's really a great place, and the people are nice - they cut through the crap pretty fast, which makes some people think they are rude. But you always know for sure what they are thinking, LOL. I hope you can take advantage of as many things as you like, and that Toaster will make lots of doggie friends.

It turned out great that everyone else fled the city so they could breathe during covid and you got a good deal! My son left NYC for Seattle last fall and he got a great deal up there, too. So much cheaper than Houston. People were fleeing like cockroaches when the light goes on!

No overhead lights in bedrooms and living rooms was standard in houses built in the 60’s in California. We lived in 2 of them. So when we built the house we live in now (25 years ago) I made sure we had lots of overhead lighting.

Hi Natalie, we only have overhead lights in the Bedroom, Kitchen, Utility Room and Bathroom, the living we have two lamps, we’re in Ohio and Rent, so I would imagine all rentals in Ohio are the same, I have no idea though, thanks for the tour and have a great week.

Thanks! Yes! So restaurants are now at 50% indoor capacity, sports are back at limited capacity, and theatre should be following suite in the next few months!

What do people typically use for window treatments when you have those kind of windows? I super love of light but I know you need some coziness too.

It's hard to find hotels that are clean and aesthetically pleasing.
first things first welcome to the northeast next just a couple of things to keep in mind with the seasons going foreword old man winter has been known to stick around till may don't put away the snow boots till April (look up April fools storm Boston) summer can be cool or wicked hot summer can also stick around till Halloween or we can have snow on Halloween just a few things to keep in mind as we go and I have seen snow in may

Being a Wisconsin gal that knows nothing about high rise apartments, I have to ask. From your windows in your bedroom I could see other windows, do them look into another apartment? 😳
They do! I can see the corner of their room, but not enough to tell if it's a bedroom or living room lol. At night I just people watch, see what people are watching on tv. 😂
