When the leasing agent behaves like that (apartment 5) is because they’re trying to keep the apartment free so a relative or friend of theirs can apply for it….that shouldn’t technically be allowed, but many leasing and real estate agents do it anyway.

lots of side hustles, part time jobs, along with your full time job! nyc is def a great city to be if you want to hustle and are looking to further your career and goals (if that's not what you want in life, then nyc wont be the best place to live)

I would say the average salary in nyc is probably between 70-90k! The rent and salary ratio is definitely a lot higher compared to other cities
