i'm sorry but your former roommate is ridiculous for thinking you should both be paying the same amount despite the fact that she had a real bedroom. i'm glad you're out of that situation now, she was definitely trying to take advantage of you. hope you settle down in a nice new place!
3:40, I was there last year in mid March, it's good and awesome and so as the weather to rest for a few minutes before walking, even though it's cold. 11:00, Same when I was in San Francisco last October, it's good and awesome, including Chinatown, fisherman's wharf, golden gate bridge and San Mateo, although it's a little boring, the weather is so good, the temperature is warm, which is unusual in October, but it lasted 2 days before returning to normal cool temperature, even though it's sunny and clear all day and night. 9:55, Wow your apartment room is so nice. Question and last question, do you remember the price for the whole food with your friend in total for New York?
Hi! I First, love your videos. Im from Prague and I always wanted to move to NYC, and hopefully will be able to do so in the future, but for now I just watch a lot of NYC content from here haha. Second, I wanted to ask you which sites do you recommend to look for an apartment in nyc? I know streeteasy is popular, but which oter are reliable/not scams? Thanks!:)
hi! Thank you sm for watching them!! I usually look in this ranking: 1. Streeteasy 2. Facebook girl housing groups (you can find REALLY good deals on here) 3. Zillow but they are usually just streeteasy reposts
hi! what do you do for work? how is the job market in NYC in 2024? are there a lot of job openings in NYC? are there part time co-operate jobs available? I'm looking at part time work what is it like living in an apartment in NYC? what are the rent prices like? what area in NYC has the lowest rent prices? (Manhattan. Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens?) is it possible to get a studio or one bedroom apartment with just a salary from a part time job? let me know I want to know if it's worth moving to one of the areas in NYC ( Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, or Staten Island? is it worth moving and getting your own apartment or if I get a part time job iN NYC i should just commute into the NYC from the bus/ and or train
Hi! Thank you sm for watching! 1. what do you do for work? Im a product marketer in the fintech space! 2. how is the job market in NYC in 2024? not very good😓 I applied over 500+ jobs before getting 2 offers. The more you apply your chances are higher. it's really about the game of luck at the point. 3. are there a lot of job openings in NYC? ultimately yes but that's bc all the business hq's are located in nyc 💃🏻 4. are there part time co-operate jobs available? there are part time roles but i think those would be labeled as internships if you look on linkedin 5. what is it like living in an apartment in NYC? what i've learned is that you wont check off all the boxes in your "want to have" list so you will have to compromise and prioritise what you want. and sometimes you doubt if a tiny lil space is worth XXXX price😅 6. what are the rent prices like? i would say it would depend on the area you live in, what you want, and how much you're willing to spend. if you want a studio it will be arouond 3500-4000. 1 bed= 4000-5000 and if you have roommates it will be about 2000-3000 per person 7. what area in NYC has the lowest rent prices? (Manhattan. Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens?) it really depends! bc brooklyn and queens are HUGE so the closer you are to Manhattan the pricier it will be. but i would rank it like this (highest to lowest): Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Bronx 8. is it possible to get a studio or one bedroom apartment with just a salary from a part time job? realistically, probably not😥😥 9. is it worth moving and getting your own apartment or if I get a part time job iN NYC i should just commute into the NYC from the bus/ and or train? It is def worth getting a place to yourself then you wont have to deal w the hassle of finding roommates and sharing bathroom etc. All of this is up to your own preference! You should make a list of things you want and dont want in an apartment. example: i want my apartment to have in-unit washer dryer. i am ok with a walk up. i dont want to live more than 10 min walk from the metro station.
@@tammydiaries OMG girl! thank you so so much! I appreciate it! I am looking for part time work (administrative assistant, personal assistant) mostly for part time! I wanted to ask you if I can find a studio or one bedroom apartment in NYC (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens,) with the salary I am getting from part time work?! is it possible? should i stop looking at NYC or stick with Westchester County or Albany or Bronx or do you think it's better for me to commute and take the train/ bus into the city?

Nice thumbnail on your 2nd picture. Hope you enjoy it and sleep early for daylight savings last Sunday overnight morning.
Thank you!!! Yes! An extra hour of sleep is always great!
My pleasure. I see. Greetings from Honolulu. But Hawaii don't have daylight savings, which is good for me.
