I'm telling you that this new wave of tenets are doing too much. The scary view, no dishwasher, and not wanting to take the apartment because its to far from church. If yall think 1 train is too far, you should not be here 😭
Personally I can’t blame her. I grew up in nyc(mainly the Bronx and manhattan) in the not so best areas. Went to hs downtown and I was always jealous of the kids who lived in townhomes, had tons of space and privacy and were constantly going out. I would too be trying to find a place that is quiet and away from people but also spacious.
@@jonathanreyes5484 I hear you but she also said she didn't want to be too far out from Manhattan so it's just one of those can't have your cake and eat it too things ultimately
Love this! Just found your channel! Can I ask what you used to find these apartments? I'm currently looking on StreetEasy but not sure if it's really the best to use. Also considering going through a broker since I'll most likely be paying a fee anyway lol :)
I mostly used Street East as well! I also sometimes looked at Zillow, but in the end I think all of the apartments we went to see were off of Street Easy. I considered a broker as well for a bit since it’s actually a lot of work/time to set up all the viewings and sift through the adds and stuff! But it’s quite expensive (more than what we paid for a “broker” fee which was high to begin with), so I ended up deciding not to this time.
I’d be curious if you felt the same way after seeing my move in vlog. I think we’ve made it quite a lovely little home! But agree that the videos didn’t make it look too promising to begin with 😁
That first apartment… HOW is that only $4800?? That is a palace I would think it would be MUCH more than that I’m looking right now and it’s total dumps that are going for $4000
I'm sorry but you want the experience of nyc but without the crowds??? Girl, move to Staten Island.

Literally came to say the sammmmeeee thing! All the fun and bright parts of living in a big city are all the things she hates.

Queens or Long Island, Jersey
Apartment 5 is worth it just for that balcony. That space alone was amazing. It's so huge you can have lots of people over there comfortably
Wow, the stress of apartment hunting in NYC! Great video and I'm glad you got the final apartment. Subbed! 😊
I love how much of a priority it was to be close to church 💕
Hahahahahahahaha
Great video, wishing you happiness & safety. So glad you found one in your price range & even better, close enough to walk to your church.❤
Thank you!!
FYI on the washer dryer combo, the newer models are super efficient BUT it takes longer on the dry cycle. They’re pretty cool!
Having used it for several months now I can attest that this is true!! It’s a really good solution for a small space.
Apt hunting in New York is a trip and unpredictable I mean so many surprises and ups and downs; 😊thanks for sharing and your love for God😊😊😊😊
Thanks for your kind words! Glad you enjoyed 😍
Glad you found a new home in NYC! :)
I grew up in Manhattan Valley on Columbus Avenue with those two great parks, Broadway and CU😊😊😊😊memorias 😊
Idk the buzz of a fan would be the best thing you could wish to hear in NYC at night 😂
Fair enough 😂
The view IS the nicest❤
I was really entertained watching this :D
Glad you found a great place!!
Those 3/4 dish washers are often in airbnbs
I’m surprised you guys went with the last one over the other ones, you said so many negatives yet claimed it checked all the boxes 😅😅
Hahaha there were negatives with all of them, but this one was the best value for what we were getting. And we’ve made it into a lovely little home! 😍
Just found your channel! Love!!! You’re living my dream! Want to live in NYC for a year and eat my way thru!
Glad to have you!!
Upper West really is IMO the best part of Manhattan to live in.
I have to agree!!
first time on your channel, i will definitely continue watching supporting etc - thank youuuuu
Very much appreciate it!!

I knoooow same it was dreamy!
Sacrificing location, budget, or space.
A. True
B. Weird to make that sound NYC specific haha
That's just renting in any major city.

I didn't realize the broker's fees could be even more if you worked with them directly lol Thank you so much, this is so helpful!@@jennyglassmyer
Thank you for the video, I really liked number 7 one, could you please tell me the name of that building? Thanks 😊
Hi there! It's called Signum and it's at 375 Dean St. ☺️
Apt 1 upperwest Beautiful my favorite that kitchen😊
Watching from Kenya 🇰🇪, just came across your channel❤
I can’t wait to see the move in process and your little furbaby.
Yay can’t wait to share!!
Brooklyn
Washer-dryers are terrible.
Did not like the last one

I’m pretty sure you say “like” in most sentences. Sometimes multiple times.
You should run from NY
😂
There no such thing as south Harlem. None!
You are either in Harlem or the upper west side or east side.
lol girl new your is not for you.

Haha there’s definitely a lot of variability with the seasons and such! At the time that was a pretty average price for a 1 bedroom of that caliber.
Interesting well-done video but your enunciation is difficult to understand. All your words run together.
What do you do for work?? Since you guys move a lot just curious ☺️☺️🩷
I am a software engineer and my husband is a technical program manager! We both work fully remote ☺️
Why do you need to be close to church? How often do you go, what religion is yours??
Churches have activities etc throughout the week and special social events.
