"Karpiel" at Northstar Tahoe Bike Park!

- Taking a ride down part of Northstars "Karpiel" trail. This is my firs trip to the park this year and the Friday lift lines were non existent. Really enjoy the flow and chunk in this trail. Nothing like finishing out a rough chunky ride with sweeping Daytona berms into buttery jumps!

Very nice pace. The section before the berms is like surfing down a friggin' waterfall. Video doesn't do it justice- good job.

Watched this video the day before we went… yeah, GoPro makes everything look easy and flat… 3:25 that section was steep! I OTB caught myself tho… its pretty gnarly…

Holy cow, some of those line choices are nuts. Great vid. Any recommendations for what trails ahead in our store? Headed out there first time in a week.
The Zephyr chair takes you to the more flowy trails like Livewire. Opposite lift vista takes you to the chunkier stuff like Karpiel, Sticks and Stones and Sineous.
sweet riding! how would you rank the northstar double blacks from "easiest" to hardest? I'm fairly comfortable on techy black trails and just started riding double blacks last month
Every “double black” is walkable if need be. Most only get gnarly in like 10-20% of the trail section, but those sections are gnarly for sure. Nothing you can’t ride into and change your mind if you aren’t confident. Definitely some spots you could ruin your summer on if you take it too fast
