- My latest adventure takes me to Northstar in Lake Tahoe! Don and Brian from MTB Norcal put out the call and I answered! I need to improve my jumps and bermitude! Now's the time! The last time I was out in Northstar was for Innerbike. This is my second time out and I'm DETERMINED to improve my skills. If only to pay the billz. Man! You're not kidding. I'm pretty sure every one of us had a crash in some form or another out there.
Tell no tales is so damn technical dude, it’s gnarly. The last section is just super steep and super loose. Don’t even worry about losing confidence 😂
Yea man! The biggest thing is just how damned loose it is. It's like moon dust up there. Regardless the mint leaves smelled fantastic and I don't regret it for a SECOND!

Northstar really is fun. It's a matter of finding the trails you enjoy the most. I find that I'm not particularly good on the jumplines but he wooden features and chunk are a blast!
Roller coaster ride for sure... That was gnarly!!!
I could ride that all day. Better than any theme park I've ever been to!

Great vid Joe! I need to get back to Northstar. I rode there once eleven years ago. I had been riding for only 4 months, and didn't have the best bike for that terrain, not to mention no skills! You handled it well, bud. Calirado Kid shirt idea for you - the front: "BABY, BABY, BABY!!" the back: "Ohhh BABY!" You're welcome. I'll take my usual 20% cut.

Video looks great! Awesome that you guys got to ride a bunch of trails even with the line and the heat. That TNT trail looks like cascade trail in rockville but twice as loose lol. Nice to see you guys hit livewire too!
Yea. TNT was SUPER loose. I think I'd have no problem hitting it otherwise. Next time though. Next time.
I have yet to tackle cascade at Rockville. I feel like it's my time! I need to do a ride there soon.

These are really sick trails, looks sooo fun. I hope the chair lifts were fast so the lines go by quick. I'm gonna give Angel Fire a shot here soon, heard so much about it, now you inspired me.
The lines were long but honestly the waits weren't bad at all. Totally worth it. Had an absolute blast. Can't wait to go back again. Angel Fire looks awesome too! Go for it! Bike parks are a great way to spend the day.

I remember riding parts of TnT (not that crazy roll in) at the EWS and was like..ohh crap...turns out it was not for us EWS80 racers...I was not sad about it lol

We got 7 runs in. Started at 10am and ended at 3:45pm
