Hi, could you tell me if this hardtail is not a problem for transporting food? Don't drinks spill, food boxes become a mess, and so on? I'm thinking about starting a job as a bicycle courier and I'm looking for a bike with full suspension and a rack, but it's hard to find one at the moment. But maybe a hardtail is enough?
Made my day seeing you buy that guy some food and a drink - wish the world had more people like you! Thanks for the content and here's a couple of Red Bulls on me :-)
That good deed of buying that man some food has just encouraged me to do a good deed for someone whenever I go out in the coming days. Thanks for spreading your kindness towards others 🙌
Found your channel yesterday and been absolutely addicted since! Makes me want to pick this up as a small side-hustle as well, but Germany is absolutely f'ed in regards to that lmao Massive respect for paying it forward and buying that man a meal and something to drink - We need more people like you in the world, man. Greetings from germany
Sincere respect to all you young people, working hard to make a living. As kids in the early 60’s on our bikes, the lucky ones to have one, would have jumped at the chance to earn a few quid doing this or similar.
Your channel is such an eye opener to the other side of the food delivery business. I always tip no matter what. But last kfc I had, guy pulled it out of his boot of his car, no thermal bag it was freezing cold and congealed, I had to put it all in the oven to warm up. I like what you said about no thermal bag, no tip. Going to do that in future.
Oslo calling: After watching a few episodes, I have gained insight into a profession I've never really given much thought to, until now. I now understand the challenges you face every day at work and what I, as a customer, can do to improve your workday. Thank you for being here!
"Hey London Eats!!" :) You are working so hard for a living in the most expensive city AND you give away your tips to a needy person... such a good hearted gesture. I'm sure you're making some money from RUclips & sponsorship so you might already be earning good money but you're so 'in your groove' in this vlog that there's no doubt you're destined for even more success....as long as no London driver takes you out first!
I love how you didn't wait for that second order after picking up the first order. I absolutely hate when my order gets picked up from a restaurant and the delivery driver stays in the same restaurant for 15 minutes with my food while waiting for another order. And then after waiting for so long he goes to deliver that order first because the app probably tells him so (sometimes it's not even closer, he would just go past my neighborhood and go back after delivering the other order). So my food arrives like 30 minutes late and completely cold.
Yup, had an order that should have taken 20 minutes max take 40 because the guy was standing in mcdonalds for 20 minutes doing fuck all, and I know for a fact that mcdonalds isnt completely packed at 2 am...
Hello, my name is Noah and I just wanted to spread the word to you by saying Jesus and God love you very much it says in Revelation 21:3 “Look! God's dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them.” God is there for you and he sent his one and only son to die on the cross for everyone. If you choose not to believe thats on you. I hope you soak this in. God bless.
I feel for you on the order hold ups. I work in a supermarket and we are told we aren't allowed to reject orders outright, even though we often physically don't have the staff to pick all the orders in a reasonable time.
Love your videos so much! I'm a Deliveroo+Uber Eats rider myself from Belgium. The amount of money you make for a 5h period is crazy! I can't do more than 2 deliveries an hour, and for us most deliveries only happen between 6pm-9pm, before & after there are barely any deliveries
For your throttle control: had the same problem with mine, Go in too your settings, under advance settings scroll down till you see throttle 6km speed or something like that, select it, and flip it to it indicates N, Exit, turn off the controller and restart the bike and it should be fixed.
Cracking insight into the life of a London delivery rider, thanks. But if you turn up somewhere with nothing to lock your bike to, arent you likely to get someone setting you up with an order, and then put your bike in the back of a van and scarper when you go inside? Also, dont people try to steal your phone off the handlebars? Interested to understand what happens. Well done and good luck.
You deserved my like and a subscribe for being such a good person for buying the guy a meal. We don’t have much kindness left in this world and I’m happy your one of the few who still have kindness ❤
I have a DIY dual motor bike with 22 amp controllers and two 48v batteries for two motors separately. So I once did 32 deliveries on single charge, 92km range using only Throttle, without PAS. I recommend to add another motor infront (if law allows you) and another separate battery for front motor. And here in Seoul, Korea I never lock my bike. It is safe to leave it as is. No one will steale it.
As a fella living in the sticks of rural lincolnshire, it blows my mind, absolutely blows my mind how much people can and do order. I can't fathom just ordering a gregs or a maccas or starbucks or something and having it delivered to me by someone on a bike. Crazy times!
Mad to see you open this video on a street that's 30 seconds from my doorstep. Always love seeing you highlight the streets of Camberwell / Walworth; keep up the good work!
Law for throttles is around 4mph. You're good, it's mainly a law for like trikes and heavy riders to help them get moving. respect for showing it in the vid.
I don’t k ow how the algorithm got me here from across the world In California but I love your attitude and commentary and I just love sightseeing the REAL London.
Like my electric longboard the battery display switches in percentages when you do or don't draw power for it. As in when you don't use the motors power for support, the battery indicator goes up; because it estimates that it can travel futher in those 'new' circumstances
I got a Himiway Zebra a while back. The bike is absolutely sick, best thing about it is that you can set a password on your bike, so even if someone cuts the lock, if they don't have the password they can't go faster than like 8-10 mph, especially uphill, because of how heavy this beast of a bike is. (Obviously, thats supposing the person who is stealing it has to pedal home and doesn't have a truck or car to carry it in.) Which is why i also have a tracker on mine.
I commented about a year back that I was inspired to buy an e-bike by your videos, now I have two! So happy to see your subs growing hard too. Congrats.
It was nice of you in that restaurant to be so concerned about getting the food into the thermal bag as quickly as possible. It shows you actually care about making the food getting to your customers.
If you try this as a rider for Just Eats in Germany with using a company's E-Bike, you'd only last for 5 or 6 hours Whenever I get a long distance job a few minutes before my shift ends, I immediately get stressed because I'm scared that my battery won't make it 😂 I'm sure a lot of my German riders who work for Just Eats (Lieferando) can confirm
Now you need a zebralight h600 headlamp to atrach to your helmet, they are very efficient, i think thats what the model is called, comes in different tint emitters, red blinky on back wont hurt, was it magikshine that puta that red halo on the ground and straight back
I commend your effort, very entertaining to watch. I have Orbea Vibe from 2021 and 60km is around the time both my battery and my butt want to go home. So all in all I'd say very good mileage.
I’m AiPas A2 Elite e-bike rider, 750w and 48V, 11.6Ah. I read a lot on youtube advisors who says that it’s better not to run down the battery to zero, that it’s increasing battery longevity (the most expensive part of an e-bike) if one ride and store battery 20-80%. What is your experience in this dept?
I’m a new sub- find this world interesting and enlightening as I’ve never considered this side of getting a take away.👍🏻 I’m a hobby rider of a roadbike type of e-bike and I use it in the Peak District that’s like all hills and valleys, you’d get around the same distance roughly on my bike to yours, but mine only 14kg in weight total, so the difference is totally down to how flat your yard is, which is absolutely opposite to around here.
Just a tip: Don't let your battery run out, ever. Lithium-Ion batteries really don't like being fully discharged. You lose battery capacity every hour that goes by while it's discharged, and on top of that, you risk the battery going into full discharge where you can no longer charge it no matter what you try. Always try to keep your charge level between 30% - 80% and only charge above 80% shortly before actually using it. Li-Ion batteries also lose charge capacity when they are over-charged all the time.
I noticed on my Samsung there's a setting where it will protect the battery and it will only charge it to 80% so maybe you're speaking facts I'll have to look into it
@@Church_Of_Kloppism Phones are usually kept charging at night, which is why phone batteries degrade so quickly. Your average phone battery will die within 3 years or so. Limiting the charge capacity to 80% limits battery degredation drastically and can give you 5 to 6 years of good battery health. Smartphone manufacturers have been able to implement this technology since forever, but they choose to not inform you, to keep sales numbers up.
@pcpll There are indeed advanced battery management systems. But good luck finding them in these cheap chinese battery manufacturers lol. The mere existence of advanced technology does not mean industry wide application. Especially with batteries, there is no fiancial incentive to increase durability.
the state of charge estimator on that battery is a bit wack, not accounting for load and voltage sag and having a very non-linear discharge curve. Shame they dont have a pack voltage readout on the dash, would make it much easier to keep the load of the motor, keep the pack above the low voltage cutoff
Where I live in Australia that sort of range would get me to my second closest town. But then I would need a full recharge to get home. To get to the main shops and back. Four full charges. Definitely an urban toy.
I gotta say thank you. I bought that manscape kit 2 years ago and it works so much better then my regular shaver, 9 months ago i was gone use it but it didn't work since then i have not used that machine bec i tought it was broke turns out i just locked it and thanks to you i figured it out :).
7:58 I remember years back when i was a teenager i wanted to do some jackass level shit and stupidly went down that hill on a skateboard... was going so fast I couldn't stop myself, the trucks were wobbling like crazy, almost got hit by a car that luckily saw me at the cross section at the bottom before the station and I ended up jumping off the board and hurting myself pretty badly on the ground. very stupid of me.
I work along brick lane and know how you feel when you see the waiters/takeaways refusing to give any food to the beggers but tbh if they do give it away they will be flooded with beggers the next day so i do see where they come from, end of the night I do see a few places hand out extra food at closing.
I just found you yesterday! Already watched many of your videos. I love looking around places I’ve never been to-you add an entirely different edge to it. Awesome! One question; what do you do if you don’t have room in your insulated bag, I’m sure you have a back up plan. Be safe, happy travels.
What a nice person you are buying that person a meal the thing is restaurants and takeaways will throw my food at the end of their day . Great video Sir
I will say this: I think the exchange of the throttle only going 6 kmh is worth it legality wise for outright the safety of people, and also the fact the pedal assist still lets you go quite fast while also having the perk of threading/bypassing heavy traffic. Stay safe, wear a helmet, and always appreciate what you have.
Two other bikes you ought to look into: The Velotric Packer and the Lectric Expedition. The Lectric bike can supposedly do 150 miles on a dual battery. Figure actually half that at full assist.
I got the Himiway Zebra with extra bat! It's incredible for deliveries! A lot of peeps take the piss but I couldn't give a toss. Saying that I get more people coming up to me to talk about it more than the haters. So comfy I can go for 8 hours straight or until both bats run out.
I have looked on StreetView at the junction on Camberwell New Road into Bolton Crescent @6:42, and I cannot see any sign stating you cannot turn left at that junction. There is also no such sign on the lights in your video. You cannot turn right going the other way (there is an arrow below the lights showing that), but nothing on the direction you were travelling. What's more, the alignment of the turn on the left means it can only be entered in the direction you were travelling, and Bolton Crescent is two-way. I don't think the car did anything wrong, it was signalling and two bicycles went up the inside, which is not a wise thing to do.
If my livelihood didn't depend on it then I think this would be quite a fun job to do, like I say if I was not stressing about getting enough jobs to survive and just biking from spot to spot I can imagine it would be exciting! Keep up the good work man, just found you recently but watched a lot of your videos!
When i was 11 years old. I was dinning in restaurant without a drink. I didn't have money to buy it. The employer brought me a drink and told me the customer paid it. Now am 37 years old and still can't forget his kindness.
15:00 Creams is the absolute worst for pickups, when I'm the one ordering sometimes they take 40 mins on top of the estimated time, poor driver always goes off and does another job first
I have the cobra thirty plus is good. If you change the wheel size to the smallest size it will go 38miles per hour and twenty plus miles with throttle only😊
Brotherman, hope you'll get a new helmet asap cuz a friend of my dad's is still hospitalized after a car hit him from behind standing at a crossing not wearing a helmet - 5 years ago! He wasn't doing anything wrong and it wasn't his fault but the pole he crashed into face first didn't care about that... he just got really unlucky at the wrong time. I know you usually wear one and I really like that - as you're kind of a rolemodel after all -but when you're out there doing deliveries not wearing a helmet getting a new one should be top priority! Anyway top video as always I enjoy this channel a lot. Cheers!
Nice one LE. Can't wait to see you do more work towards the end of autumn. A sunday shift between 6am-12noon might be interesting, going from darkness to daylight - possibly lucrative too given the number of clubbers that want brekkie after a night out.

I always deliver in level 1. I have a 30km round trip before I even start delivering, so I only use full power when I need to
If my livelihood didn't depend on it then I think this would be quite a fun job to do, like I say if I was not stressing about getting enough jobs to survive and just biking from spot to spot I can imagine it would be exciting! Keep up the good work man, just found you recently but watched a lot of your videos!
Thank you so much for all of your content! Your attitude is infectious and a pleasure to witness. You rock, man!
Ow do u find the zebra m8 im shopping around at min are they quik aswell ill be doing approx 8 mile to wrk and back
That commercial for 'manscapes' I never knew such a thing existed! 😂🤣🤣 Hilarious!!
I must confuse that I only discovered your channel a week ago or so and it's highly addictive. Great content.
Great video. 38 miles on one battery is great for 5 hours. They sell the Himiway Zebra with 2 batteries that will do a full 8 hour shift.👍
That's wild they don't normally tip in the UK! Over here in the US if you don't tip then good luck even having your order accepted!
add a second pack on the frame and run both in parallel...
i get 200+ km pedalling (or roughly 120+ in "scooter" mode) with 52v 50 Ah
When i was 11 years old. I was dinning in restaurant without a drink. I didn't have money to buy it.
The employer brought me a drink and told me the customer paid it.
Now am 37 years old and still can't forget his kindness.
10:11 My bike goes 20mph, but that’s in the States. There are different tiers when it comes to e-bikes and what’s street legal here.
15:00 Creams is the absolute worst for pickups, when I'm the one ordering sometimes they take 40 mins on top of the estimated time, poor driver always goes off and does another job first
Hey bro, love the videos. What's the phone holder you using on the bike? Seems well nice!
love all of your videos!! always looking forward to the new ones! I hope you make some good tips coming up this holiday season, should be a good one!
Enjoyed that, something different to watch. Safe riding. Subbed
When turning the bike on click the info button twice. Scroll Setting you can change from KPH to MPH in a couple of seconds
Nice episode, i really love the e-bike stuff, could watch way more of your content without ever getting bored.
It is very entertaining
for sure step through will be more convenient for delivery bike where you have to get on and off all the time.
So happy that you are getting sponsorship , keep up the great videos
As a new Yorker I appreciate your videos so much. I really get to see England. And a really want to summer there in the future.
I have the cobra thirty plus is good. If you change the wheel size to the smallest size it will go 38miles per hour and twenty plus miles with throttle only😊
total gent respect for buying the guy food and drink . love the vids
When the ambulance went past I realised how much time must to into the editing.. just snipping out little bits of video here and there.
Nice work mate
17:16 MAN! RESPECT!
What Lock is that I have the D7 Cobra
Cheers!
London eats you are a good man! Keep going love the videos and all the hard work
Fantastic Hplok locker. It's the secure fold for Gold one.
Nice one LE. Can't wait to see you do more work towards the end of autumn. A sunday shift between 6am-12noon might be interesting, going from darkness to daylight - possibly lucrative too given the number of clubbers that want brekkie after a night out.
I have the greatest respect for you and your integrity is through the roof
