Thank you, very enjoyable video. I have a coin anecdote for you. In the '70s my family removed a bush next to our 1926 house in Indiana. Soon my mom found a few Lincoln pennies when tilling the soil, so my brother and I scoured the site. We turned up dozens of cents and just 1 1940 nickel. The pennies were from the 1920s to the '50s. We speculate that years prior, a previous owner's child may have tossed those out a window far above. The coins were well-preserved, in fact my dad was a U.S. coin collector and he bought a couple of the scarcer date pennies from us...!🥇

I got my simplex ultra back in march my first metal detector due to shoulder surgery and a slow recovery I still haven’t used it, hopefully in the next month I will get out for the first time. But your video are almost like being there. Question have you ever taken your cheapest and most expensive detector out together and seen if they is anything that one picks up that the other one wouldn’t?

I haven't done it side by side but I do often hunt the same land multiple times with each machine. It is surprising how different machines favour different targets more.
What is the significance of the numbers. Is it the higher the number the better the find?
It's the level of conductivity of the target. You learn through use where on the scale good targets tend to appear. The main consideration should always be the audio, however.
