    Great to see you using the Double Score! I am keeping an eye on this md. I am south of you (Corpus/port a) and it looks like it will do great on these beaches! Looking forward to more vids with this md.

      So far I'm really liking the DS. Did another hunt today seems to be a real solid machine and stable.

    WoW those Bottle Caps do sound off good using the Double Score and I use to have the Simplex + and my trash to Coin Ratio was favoring the Trash targets and I have since Traded the Simplex off and the guy that has it now gave me his Equinox 600 and I also have the X-Terra Pro and it's a totally different Detector than anything Notka and All the other Detectors that I have ever owned and I will be Subscribed to your channel....

      Thanks! I do plan on taking a trip in may somewhere. Been a toss up right now between SPI or Pensacola 🤔. Either way you know I'll have the double score and legend with me lol

    most reviews and tryouts of this new machine is on a beach...theres no salt water beaches up here in ny near me....any hard land digging soon?

    • @TheTexanDetector
      @TheTexanDetector  Год назад +1

      I have posted two dry land hunts so far. A live dig and a Christmas hunt. Mostly tot lots so far. We've had a lot of rain lately and its not much fun digging wet clay that stuff sticks to everything lol.

    I also have a double score. Can you show your settings on beach mode and park mode??????

    • @TheTexanDetector
      @TheTexanDetector  7 месяцев назад

      At the beach I ran beach mode, Sensitivity 8-9. St at 1, IF at 0, Discrimination pattern g, and recovery speed 2. Park hunting I use park mode and pretty much thr same settings. Not when I hit the tot lot I bump up the recovery speed to 3 and lower the sensitivity to 5.

    Are the numbers about the same as the legend

    Is the detector good for someone who is deaf-blind? reading the VDIs and the vibration mode? I'm thinking of getting this instead of the legend as I wold want something less complicated but functional on wet/dry salt beaches.

    • @TheTexanDetector
      @TheTexanDetector  Год назад

      This detector does have 5 levels of vibration so it would be great for the hearing impaired. I really like that feature as I would like to use it underwater. The detector handles very well in the wet and dry sand. I think this would be a great choice.

    For a half hour you got a handful of targets. Man those bottle caps keep beach hunters busy.. and Beach goers Drunk.. Hope you did not smash your head too too hard. Ouch.. Happy Hunting Brother.. Peace

      Not gonna lie I did smack my head pretty good lol. Had I not been recording there probably would have been some choice words being said hahahaha. Hey you have to dig the bottle caps especially with a new machine. I am starting to learn the sound of a bottle cap now so they are not surprising me a much anymore lol. Thanks for watching and happy hunting brother!

      Hey glad you didn't get knocked out, if it had been me I defiantly would have had to do some editing, lol
      Oh my bad you was live so I'd had to make it rated R.

      @coinshooter-cm2ty 🤣😂🤣😂 let's just say its a good thing I've been getting used to these live hunts otherwise there would have definitely been some 4 letter words coming out lol. But now I'm a professional and the show must go on 😁😂🤣😂🤣

    I just bought one to use on the beach too. But I believe it’s pronounced “knock-ta” not “nok-ta” (even though it’s spelled Nokta). These are from Europe (the company).

      I've heard it both ways lol. Either way heck of a machine. This is spring break week hear so I maybe be doing some beach detecting in the very near future 😎 happy hunting my friend!
