If you find an engagement ring, try getting it back to the owner. It's the right thing to do. It has the highest sentimental value, and more than likely, they've posted fliers, checked with restaurants and hotels, & posted on social media. She'd be devastated.

Oh I have missed your videos! Ant believe I get on and see that you have loaded this video. How cool to be in Cancun. Went there in 1984, way before my detecting days. The go,s ring does look fabulous. Can’t wait to hear about your airport experience but after this hunt it will be but a brief, insignificant wrinkle in your travels. Good luck on your upcoming hunts.

Hope the airport situation wasn’t too bad… I have taken my detector on a few flights and always hold my breath at the airport hoping things go well. So far so good. I had a similar problem taking my detector to Costa Rica. Had to remove the control box and carry on plan e in my backpack. Ugh!

Ladies normally don’t take their actual wedding rings on their honeymoon! They buy Big Fake ones so if they lose it or get robbed they aren’t getting anything of value or losing their actual ring! Never wear your actual Engagement ring when you go on any trip! Leave it at home and buy a fake back up!
