I played around on and off over the years since I was in high school long ago. Kept an old detector on my boat (I lived on my boat for twenty years) and played on the beaches during my travels. I didn't take it seriously until about 2 yrs ago studying everything I could find on beach and wave patterns etc.. I get out at least once a week and often twice spending a full day every time.
