This has the complete audio in excellent sound quality! Doesn't segue into poorer quality audio after c.55 seconds. Where on earth has this come from?!?
It was very expensive that was why nobody had the full thing. It was in the archives.
I tried to access the full video by emailing ITV back in 2008 so I could see this piece of history.
Absolute goosebumps, I'd never seen this performance, only the snippet of it on the documentary.

I wrote to ITV back in 2008 to try and get a full version of this to no avail, this is the best we've got and will ever have.

I vividly remember standing in my school uniform..I.was 11 or 12 when Granada Reports came on with Tony Wilson introducing this band in tv for the first time...OMG I stood there open mouthed..turned me into music ,art & subversive literature unsuitable for children😂😂in a huge way .lol.

What a horrible assembly Granada TV did! Where is Bernard Summer? Never framed ... not to mention when Ian Curtis starts dancing: they immediately take away the shot or put a still image of his face with reverberation effects...!
So few appearances have been filmed that even this small stretch of Granada Tv is a sight for sore eyes my dear. I remember well when I first saw it 15 years ago.
