    Just for reference, my 27m3 brick garage(insulated flat roof) got upto 25 degrees in 15 mininutes from a starting temp of 3 degrees this morning. It was -4 outside. I have an 8KW heater.👍

    Thanks for these really useful real-world practical videos. Your 30 cubic metre shed in winter is a real torture test for the heater, being a totally uninsulated space, so the little bugger did a sterling job !

    Power Joke for the win. sweet idea, Would love to see a video on that.
    How much fuel and watts of power were being used at different speeds, noticed the jug of fuel in the background slowly went down.
    Difference between lvl3 and lvl6 dropped almost 2 inches.
    Great videos and please keep them comming

      Glad you stayed long enough to see the power joke , the price of them is a joke ..The watts of power dosnt change that much between high and low , if i can remember it draws 2 amp on low and 3amp on high (30 / 40 WATTS) . have a look at two last videos for the fuel difference..

    Sorry you'll be disappointed testing the "8kw" heater. David McLuckie and John McKay both reviewed them, physically they're identical to 5kw units. Do the math, diesel is approx 130k BTU/gal, 34 BTU/ml. 5.5hz x .022ml is about 400ml/hr, about 14,800 BTU. 3400BTU per Kw is 4.3, a long way from 8.
    That said, these are still nice units. I put one in our camper as alternative for the propane, I couldn't run it, even at min setting until temps dropped to 10C/50F or it was too warm, 25C/77F. Yes you can cycle it on/off, but they run better continuously

    • @VANFLIPPINGTASTIC
      @VANFLIPPINGTASTIC  Год назад

      I know there the same .and the pump isn't big enough to deliver the amount of fuel needed to create 8kw..the 5kw unit is more like 4kw as well.

    Hello Sir,
    Could you tell me the temperature that comes out of the end of the 8kw heater ?
    Is there a drop in temperature between this one and the other one, where you measured it without the intake hose ?
    Cause I have the 5kw version, standing outside and put the hose through the wall and only get like 80C on stage 6 (max setting)
    my medium insulated garage (~25m² or 55m³) only gains like 3C per hour an was topping out at only 12C ?! I´m starting to think i have a faulty unit or something

    • @VANFLIPPINGTASTIC
      @VANFLIPPINGTASTIC  7 месяцев назад

      I'm getting around 140 at the hose end ..your heater will be 5 kw, apparently there's no such thing as 8kw heaters. After much research I've discovered that the Chinese 8kw heaters are actually 5kw.

    I am in Ukraine and thinking about providing some of these for families here to protect them in the electrical grid collapse we all anticipate from Putin's rocket, but I need a couple questions answered. Can you help me?
    Does it require an electrical source only for starting up or for its continual running? If I use a car battery outside of a vehicle how long will that last to run the heater before needing recharging?

    • @VANFLIPPINGTASTIC
      @VANFLIPPINGTASTIC  Год назад
