That divorce case just made me realize that through out the entire AA series we only have 1 civil case (Phoenix vs Apollo in SoJ, dispute over ownership) and even that case is tied to a grand murder case. The rest are crime cases. Civil cases like this does give a lot of insight into real law practices, especially stuffs like negotiation between the 2 sides b4 the actual trial. This is something that AA series lacks, but I can understand it since AA series started as a satire on the law system of Japan with over the top reactions and crazy cases so it doesn't bother me. But that had more factors going on than just a civil case. Just my 2 cents on the matter.

If you really want to end the next episode on the end of the chapter, the next time the game tells you to go back to the office will lead to the final scene of the chapter. You can start off with the Tender job, then another side case or two and some friendship stuff until you feel your episode is about long enough, then go back to the office.
To be honest I really didn't mind the "not have anything to do with the main story stuff" put into the main story, cause I think this games have a more high budget tv show structure, in that way you can have an episode where we see these characters who may not get a chance to be in a substory to flesh them out. One of my favourite examples of this was in one where Kiryu helps out Date with his daughter problems since I feel it helped strengthen their relationship, and if you put that as a substory you could easily miss it. So this way when Date helped out Kiryu from being arrested it was more impactful because Date trusts and respects Kiryu. Plus the theme of fatherhood is very present in the game as well. Something you may not have caught was that Kuroiwa didn’t care that Hamura wasn’t the mole, he cared that Hamura was a murderer and this was a chance to get him behind bars. That’s where his distaste for Yagami comes from, that he put another person out on the street that, even if innocent of that crime, will kill someone else, which would be a repeat of the past.
And we finally get our introduction to Kuroiwa, who is voiced in the English dub by Matthew Mercer (on this channel known for (P4 Golden) Kanji Tatsumi, Nayuta Sahdmadhi, Yusuke Kitagawa and (GO GO HORNY) Sigma.
The Kaioken x10 and Kaioken x20 is diefferent due to lip flaps. Saying "Kaioken time 10" would have one more sylable in japanese than in english. So the mouth would flap one more time than needed if it were in english. So they changed it from 10 to 20 to and the extra sylable the fit with the lip flaps. Any abridged series on youtube will tell you that editing the flaps themselves is way too much of a hassle to do just to make the words fit right.
In Japanese, "ei" is pronounced "ay" (rhymes with bay), not "eye". I could've sworn the mods made sure you learned this but you're still making outrageous mispronunciations because of this issue, especially with Keihin.

???: The name, is Kazama Kiryu.
Yagami: Kazama Kiryu? Wait. You are the dragon of Dojima.
Kiryu: Yes. You see Yagami, i use to run a real estate business. A friend of mine brought me into the business.
Yagami: And what does this friend have to do with me?
Kiryu:...He is dead. My real estate soon was no more. But if I have to be honest about something, I don't care about that. I had a chicken named Nugget.
Yagami: A chicken?
Kiryu: Yes. He lived a good life before he went to the great business in the sky.
Yagami: I am sorry to hear about that.
Kiryu: You won't be saying that after i take that goose friend of your's.
Yagami: (Already in fighting stance) You stay away from Sir Honks.
Kiryu: (Gets into fighting stance) Sorry Yagami. But I need to do this.
(Cue the Kawami theme song)
Michael MaxAndCoral I mean I know who will win since one of them beat two tigers and the other got fucked up by yakuza and had to run but I still want to see this fight
0:15 I'm betting that the developers would make players of future Yakuza or Judgement games to pay up destruction of property

Old Receptionist: IT’S A LIE!
Well, here come the thirsty comments for that face reveal 😂😅
Nico, I love this episode’s thumbnail, good stuff👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 you’re doin great
26:10 probably the same reason they changed "over eight thousand!" to "over nine thousand!!!"in the english dub. Seriously, it's eight thousand EVERYWHERE apart from the english dub. Guess everything needs to be bigger in America. Compensating much?
FYI, Shioya's fighting style was Awano's from Yakuza 0
Yagami: *Takes off mask*
Morgana: Seriously, Joker!? Again!? Our secret's discovered again!?
Yagami: So... Phantom Thieves, huh? Can't say I haven't helped odder people.
Joker: *Shocked step back*
Yagami: I know what's like to want to find the truth in a world infested with assholes, kid. Let a veteran give you a hand.
Social Link Go!
I am thou, thou art I... Thou hast acquired a new *vow*
It shall become the wings of rebellion
that breaketh thy chains of captivity.
With the birth of The World Persona,
I have obtained the winds of blessing that
shall lead to freedom and new power.
Confidant: Takayuki Yagami
Arcana: The World
New Ability: Shady Intel - Allows you to gather hints from hostesses, barkers, ninjas and cats.
Yagami: So, Joker? Were you given that name because of a bad hand of luck...? Wait, what's with that look? Did I really nail it on one go?
Toru "Get the fuck outta my house" Higashi
Just a tip, if you want to reduce the threat level dramatically, you have to fight the gang leaders. Beating their men only reduces the level by bits while the gang leaders will reduce it, depending on the amount of the gang leaders that are on the map.
He knows
He just hates fighting them
Have about a month left to join this year's Picky Penguin Secret Santa, head to Nico-Fans-Unite on Deviantart to find out how

the old receptionist freaking out better be in the next episode on the previously on Judgement segment.
The true mystery of this episode was why is the paper so damn dirty.
35:03 - Yare Yare Daze...

Joker has a stance that reminds me of the thug style.
Judement
Nico : Ryan Didn't show up today
Xenoblade Chronicles
Ryan : So now you want some Ryan Time
This episode has strong Phoenix Wright Energy
The Kaioken x10 and Kaioken x20 is diefferent due to lip flaps. Saying "Kaioken time 10" would have one more sylable in japanese than in english. So the mouth would flap one more time than needed if it were in english. So they changed it from 10 to 20 to and the extra sylable the fit with the lip flaps. Any abridged series on youtube will tell you that editing the flaps themselves is way too much of a hassle to do just to make the words fit right.
Aww man. It would have been perfect for this episode to end at the end of this chapter......
A video before I go to bed? Did Bernie upload this one?
PERSONA!!!!
**read title**
*Gets out the flute**
The name of the episode should have been: Beneath the mask
When the future starts playing
Say hello to our majima this game 1:00:45
Nugget is back in Yakuza 7
In Japanese, "ei" is pronounced "ay" (rhymes with bay), not "eye". I could've sworn the mods made sure you learned this but you're still making outrageous mispronunciations because of this issue, especially with Keihin.
GrooseyGroose most people would’ve given up on him by now
Am I the only one who wishes there was a goose behind that mask? lol
Kyorei is pronounced 'Kee-yo-ray', Nico. Not "Ko-ree-ay"
If Yagami did adopt a goose partner, what would its name be? Pâté? Giblet?
Cooked. That way:
Yagami: “This is Cooked! He’s friendly.”
Stranger: “You’re goose is cooked?”
Yagami: “FLUX FISSURE!! Oh, sorry about that. I though you were threatening me.”
Why are all the nerds in Japan so good looking?
The way Nico says amicable really makes me uncomfortable
eh nico...
just an advice..
please use the shortcut item please..
Redevelopment plans, huh?
This is starting to sound like Yakuza 0 to me.
Well, any city anywhere is in a constant state of development and redevelopment. Keep watching. This story has a different twist on it.
