I just want to point out that every time I hear Nico say Kaito, I think of Kaito Momota. Here's a start to a crazy fanfiction: As Kaito closes his after looking at the stars one last time, he wakes up on the streets of Kamurocho. "Where am I?" Kaito thinks as he stands up and looks around in confusion at the streets of Kamurocho and starts shouting, "SHUICHI! MAKI ROLL!!! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Yagami: *runs through an office building destroying everything* Kiryu (relaxing on a beach): *pops knuckles* Alright, I guess today Kazuma Kiryu is gonna finally have to kill a man.
2:20 Actually Nico, you're wrong about that. Most important characters in the Yakuza series are modeled after their voice actors (like Kiryu and Yagami here) or modeled after other famous people.
So, wait, we have an ex-criminal who can be considered a for hire detective, an ex-lawyer, and a prosecutor. Well boys, looks like we're making the Kamurocho Yatagarasu!
I was late to the video because of family responsibilites. I had more I wanted to say about the differences in the legal system in Japan, but I’ll save it for next time. *FOR NOW,* I wanted to mention this tip. Once friendship events unlock, you can do them in any order you like. However, I firstly recommend the friendship event with the chef at the beef bowl place west of the millennium tower, (not the other beef bowl place). Next to where you got the Miracle Johnson quests. You’ll be very glad to have the reward from it as early as possible.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was getting the vibe that there was more to Shinpei Okubo's case than meets the eye. While it seemed rather damning that Okubo was a murderer after being found in such a state, I couldn't help but think there were a few odd elements to that case. First is the fact he burned their apartment after killing his girlfriend. It'd be one thing to murder Emi and make a run for it to avoid being caught, but to murder her AND burn down their place afterwards seemed like overkill. And while we still don't know that case in detail, you've got to admit that this is an unusual modus operandi for you're typical serial killer. Second is that subtly cinematic fall of the bloody picture of Okubo and Emi. If you look pass the stain that's splattered across the photo, it's evident that the two were very happy together. On the one hand, you can poetically interpret this as the tragic falsehood of a happy couple cloaking the true dark nature of the lover. But on the other hand, you could also interpret this as a happy and innocent couple who's lives are shattered by the cruelty of a much more powerful and dangerous manipulator in the shadows. I might be over thinking this one a bit, but I feel when they do such a dramatic shot you probably shouldn't dismiss it as simply the animators showing off their skills. And third is the fact that it was Takayuki Yagami who was acting as the defense attorney. As everyone had noted in the beginning, this was his first successful case with an acquittal. He'd barely gotten this job and already made a name for himself in the town. And thanks to Hamura's (not-so-flattering) remarks during their run in at Poppo Konbini, we learned that he was a child favorite of the Tojo's current Patriarch to the point he'd gone out of his way to pay for his law school. If there's something we'd learned in past Yakuza games it's that the pyramid of power is a very volatile environment in which grudges can easily foster towards those who receive special treatment from the top more frequently than others. So couldn't there be a possibility that someone or a faction of the clan were jealous of Yagami being doted on by their patriarch that they'd scheme a way to disgrace and humiliate him in some clandestine way? Well we still have a ways to go in solving all these mysteries, but so far I'm sure enjoying what this unique new chapter has to offer in this series.

In reality it's most often pronounced like a long E, like the E in "ever" but longer. But it's a sound English speakers seem to have problems with for some reason when it appears at the end of words. You seem to always pronounce it like "ay", like how you pronounce anime "animay".
To do the wall running moves, all you have to do is start sprinting and run towards the wall. You don't have to press X as you approach the wall. Just run at it. It's quite easy.
14:12 a newyorker is touring kamurocho. he is like. "WHOA" *snaps some pictures*. he sees a guy in a golden suite getting beaten up with money flying out with every punch. "meh" sees a rich looking guy about to get beat up but then throws out tons of money and the goons freak out trying to pick up as much as they can while the rich guy laughs. "WHOAAAAAAAAAA" *continues to snap pictures* he then looks at all the pictures he has taken through out his time in kamurocho. Kaito: Oy what the hell happened here!? Yagami: I don't know I was just listening to some music when all of a sudden I had an urge to just destroy everything. Kaito: What do you mean? *the destroyed cabinets fall and cause the needle to land on the record again Kiryu: KOWASEEEEEEE!!!! *Yagami stares at Kaito and starts glowing again Kaito: uh.... hey bro why are you looking at me like that? This game is very nice. I really enjoy playing the game and I’m only on the second chapter and I feel it’s good as the other yakuza games. You can tell it has the same quality and passion as the others. This is a story that feels like it has root in the city of Kamirocho with all the history from the other games like the war between Kansai and the Tojo clan with the crazy events that Kiryu has had in the city of neon darkness. This is not just a throwaway idea they made a game about but a true story that does not fully depends on the Yakuza name. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have with the short amount I have played.
The guy that wanna give you a hug is actually known as the king of tuna in Tokyo, he owns sushi restaurants from what i heard. Same goes for the steak restaurant in the game, its real and i actually ate there last month xD you eat while standing
Heyo Nico, Satan here, with a bunch of tips to hopefully help you out with judgment. Battle: while crane is used for crowds, I go for tiger, because enemies can ruin your combos quite easily, and tiger tends to do more damage, imo *also wall jump and throw is op pls nerf* Eating: while you dont get the specific exp from eating like k2, you get sp for eating an item off a menu, so its best to still eat when you can, for items you havent eaten Money: similar to y0 and k2, there is a "main" minigame to earn money, just like them it takes a bit to unlock, so you'll mainly earn money at the start through cases. Other then that, hopefully you enjoy the game
1:08:44 Nico: Damn, they are not letting this shit go are they? It's been 3 years guys, come on! Don't forget Nico, in the eyes of the public Yagami's not guilty verdict set a murderer free and led to the death of an innocent girl. That's a stain on his record for life. People aren't simply going to forget about that no matter how much time passes.
well it's confirmed. This is prime Nico hour for me. I'm really enjoying both LP's he's doing, so I've got something to look forward to everyday. I remember this hour back with KH2, KH3 and Breath of the wild.
It's kind of cool how the Chatter /via Tracker App is like the MetaNav app in P5; punch in a couple of terms and you can find your target efficiently. 😄
...Yagami kinda looks like a older Joker doesn't he? And I guess Kaito is his Ryuji, Shintani his Yusuke and Saori his Futaba... Hmmm, there's some serious fanfic material here.
@@GabrielAugusto-vr1zb Since Kaito's got a bigger built and seems a tad chiller, I'd say he's a fusion of Ryuji, Kanji, and a bit of Sojiro's fatherly tones mixed in. 😁 Oh and with that "Gossipy" side, just a pinch of Mainstream Girl from Kurisu. 😆
Calling it now: The final "and now back to" segment is going to be an anime-esque montage of all the "previously on" segments in the playthrough. "Breaking za woooorld" *Nico stares at a cat*

Nico: *Realizes there is no karaoke mini game in Judgement*
Kiryu: *Goes to Tender to Sing Baka mitai over Karaoke*

a newyorker is touring kamurocho.
he is like. "WHOA" *snaps some pictures*.
he sees a guy in a golden suite getting beaten up with money flying out with every punch.
"WHOAAAA" *snaps more pictures*
sees a crazy injured dude drive a truck into a building.
"meh"
sees a rich looking guy about to get beat up but then throws out tons of money and the goons freak out trying to pick up as much as they can while the rich guy laughs.
"WHOAAAAAAAAAA" *continues to snap pictures*
he then looks at all the pictures he has taken through out his time in kamurocho.
"SON OF A *****"
his thumb was in the way of every picture except for one picture.
a picture of majima holding a sign that says. "DUMMY"
12:23
Is that a *MONOKUMA FILE?!*
Yagami: stop telling me how to do my job. You're not my dad.
Lawyer: Im sad mow :(. Looks to the ground sadly and depressed
Dang that Judgment song is so manly it makes me wanna break everything. Wait a minute.....
*Meanwhile in Yagami's office, Judgement is on the record player:
Kiryu: WHOA BREAKING ZA LAWWWWW, BREAKING ZA RUUUULE, KOWASEEEEEEE!!!
Nishiki: Breaking zaaaa woooorld~.
*Yagami starts glowing
Yagami: what is this awesome power awakening within me?
*A few moments later Kaito walks in and finds Yagami standing in the office, destroyed.
Kaito: Oy what the hell happened here!?
Yagami: I don't know I was just listening to some music when all of a sudden I had an urge to just destroy everything.
Kaito: What do you mean?
*the destroyed cabinets fall and cause the needle to land on the record again
Kiryu: KOWASEEEEEEE!!!!
*Yagami stares at Kaito and starts glowing again
Kaito: uh.... hey bro why are you looking at me like that?
Yagami: .......
Kaito: NO....NO...STAY BACK..... NO... NO
Yagami: HIGH KICK!
Kaito: AUGGHHHHHHHH!
Ok so I looked up a live concert of smap from 2013 and now I can't stop thinking that our main guy is gonna burt put singing a boy band song on a miniature, colorful chair. I honestly wouldn't be opposed to that, considering this game series.
Citizen: Man, it sure is great not having a crazy man yelling like a lion while breaking stuff by running into them...
Yagami: TASTE THE PHYSICS BITCHES! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Citizen: AUGGHHHHHHHH!
Resident: Not again...
An older kiryu looks on from a distance
Kiryu: I don't know who this man is but I feel like this could be the start of a beautiful friendship
I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN you'd use Kiryu singing "Judgment" as the "And now back to" bit for this game. XD
Congrats Nico, you officially have made the best opening you have ever made
Yagami Open Format Designers. For all your open format needs.
Yagami Open Format Designers is not responsible for any damages including but not limited to: death, dismemberment, property damage loss of customers, loss of business, Yakuza attacks, Yakuza bombings, and/or final boss fights (epic theme music included).
Love the intro Nico! Keep it up! I can’t wait to see how this new story unfold and how you tackle it!
Wow, there's a lot of Makotos in this series. Makoto Makimura (now Tateyama :(), Makoto Date, and now Makoto Tsukumo.
Kaito: *tips fedora at Mafuyu*
"M'lady Prosecutor"
The guy that wanna give you a hug is actually known as the king of tuna in Tokyo, he owns sushi restaurants from what i heard.
Same goes for the steak restaurant in the game, its real and i actually ate there last month xD you eat while standing
Heyo Nico, Satan here, with a bunch of tips to hopefully help you out with judgment.
Battle: while crane is used for crowds, I go for tiger, because enemies can ruin your combos quite easily, and tiger tends to do more damage, imo
*also wall jump and throw is op pls nerf*
Eating: while you dont get the specific exp from eating like k2, you get sp for eating an item off a menu, so its best to still eat when you can, for items you havent eaten
Money: similar to y0 and k2, there is a "main" minigame to earn money, just like them it takes a bit to unlock, so you'll mainly earn money at the start through cases.
Other then that, hopefully you enjoy the game
SBFH01 well there is a mechanic later on that makes the crane so effing powerful. Mainly using it to spam heavy attacks.
The EX Actions for the Crane style are the best for crowd control IMO
BREAKING THE LAW
BREAKING THE WORLD
0:24 Holy fuck, this is my JAM
1:08:44
Nico: Damn, they are not letting this shit go are they? It's been 3 years guys, come on!
Don't forget Nico, in the eyes of the public Yagami's not guilty verdict set a murderer free and led to the death of an innocent girl. That's a stain on his record for life. People aren't simply going to forget about that no matter how much time passes.
OMG THE INTRO IS AWESOME. AS USUAL
4:47
"Alright guys I'll see you later."
"..."
"Did... Did he just jump out of the window?"
NicoB is probably my favorite RUclipsr
44:50 wanderbot spent like 10 minutes looking for that cat and you find him right away
I see Nico knowing kamurocho so well I can't help to imagine him going there finding the office and wrecking the crap out of it
6:22 Fun fact guess who Masuda's english VA is? Jamieson Price. That's right Papa Nier and Sojiro Sakrua. We got alot of Daddys in this game so far.
And most of the Persona 5 voice actors is in this too
Pretty sure he also voices the Chief Prosecutor as well
well it's confirmed. This is prime Nico hour for me. I'm really enjoying both LP's he's doing, so I've got something to look forward to everyday. I remember this hour back with KH2, KH3 and Breath of the wild.
I’m sure all the comments are gonna be this... but I just can’t help it!
WOAH BREAKING THE LAAAAW
BREAKING THE WOOOORLD
KOWASEEEEEEEE~
KIRISAKE *TENDERNESS!*
*(Sees intro)*
Yeah, I kinda expected you were doing something like this..... ;)
Oh and with that "Gossipy" side, just a pinch of Mainstream Girl from Kurisu. 😆
@@halnyx7488 There's something so fun about fusing characters together like this, I don't know why~ =3
@@GabrielAugusto-vr1zb Probably because it feels something like Fusion-Ha or something; combining epic things to make a new epic thing. 😄
Aight has anyone else noticed Kashiwagi-san is playing keys for our boys Kiryu and Nishiki?
Nico finding out that there's no karaoke:
*eric andre footage*
"Let me in...LET ME IIIIIIIIIN!"
For wall jump, initiate a run, so just press X, but make sure you have some distance between you and the wall. There has to be some bit of momentum.
I love the intro so much, Yakuza forever!
nico fun fact mafyus english voice actress is cherami leigh the same voice as makoto in Persona 5
Some one called it he used judgement from yakuza 0 as the "and now back to"
Already this is my new favorite "and now back to..." segement. It's definately up there with 24 Cinderella and Baka Mitai ones from the yakuza series.
1:06:45 Ironically, the chief prosecutor looks like Edgeworth's dad.
Nico, this is very important. Go to the internet cafe and run into the booths
Never mind, should've watched the whole ep 1st
Calling it now: The final "and now back to" segment is going to be an anime-esque montage of all the "previously on" segments in the playthrough.
"Breaking za woooorld" *Nico stares at a cat*
This game also has its own "previously" montage before the beginning of each chapters too.
1:06:40 And that is the difference between Yagami and Kiryu !
I am looking forward to this entire playthrough. I love this game so much and I can't wait to see you play through it. I'll be waiting for every episode.
Best of both Yakuza and Ace Attorney!
Does this mean.... we will get a clip of Nico singing judgement? My excitement is off the charts.
Nico forgetting the name for 24 hour cinderella like it wasnt stuck in his head for 3 months is a flex of some sort.
Ok, I'm interested. I need to watch LP of these games. The karaoke at the beginning sold me on them.
That Intro.....Beautiful *_sheds a tear_*
I do suspect it's the record company... sInce that's part of the industry that's quite strict with the series' licensed songs.
I absolutely love kiryu singing judgement i lost my shit at this that was extremely perfect
