It bears repeating *Part 2* I mentioned in the first episode how the 99.9% conviction rate in Japan stems from the prosecution never taking a case to trial unless they are certain they will win. This is rooted in a few cultural sources. The concept of ‘face’ is still very important in Japan, even post-war, and this is especially true in the government. The Japanese government has many flaws, but hold themselves as being superior to many other governments. They often tout their ‘low” crime rates and incredible success at law enforcement. They depend on the numbers from their ‘perfect’ system to justify their actions and practices. This means there is tremendous pressure on the prosecutors to not mess up and ruin the public image the politicians demand. This in turn means the prosecutors put TONS of pressure on the cops to bring them irrefutable evidence in criminal cases. Obviously, it’s not always possible for even the best police to obtain that evidence. This is where a double edges sword comes into play. As you might expect, some people commit crimes while trying to hide the evidence or establish an alibi, thinking they’ll be gold since there is enough doubt they won’t be taken to trial. And sometimes it works. But if the cops become convinced that you DID the crime, they aren’t above hiding evidence, manufacturing evidence, or just plain lying so that the prosecutors will get off their backs and send you to prison. And they often get away with it, because to contest it, you’d have to produce irrefutable evidence that shows THEY did something illegal. Remember, in Japan, you are tried in front of judges, not a jury. The only people who need to be convinced are these highly educated individuals who are familiar with the legal system, not some ignorant hillbillies who got a jury duty summons. As long as there is the slightest doubt, the prosecutors can’t take someone to trial and prove they are a criminal, because the judges know the difference between reasonable doubt and a legal smokescreen. (Incidentally, this is one of the reasons drug use is so much more socially taboo in Japan. All you have to do is test positive for drugs in your blood, and it’s rock solid proof that you are a criminal. You can’t argue against it. The whole population looks at you and KNOWS you are a criminal. Without the slightest doubt. No burden of evidence is needed. You’re a fucking criminal, buddy, and you can’t argue otherwise. When you have to walk past Yakuza who flout it and aren’t arrested because there isn’t enough solid proof for the paranoid prosectors to convince the judges, your emotions tend to outpour against anyone who is absolutely guilty.)
Hmm seems what you know about Japanese justice system and society is from only movies and games. First of all I would say Japan's conviction rate are high but not that high as everyone mentioned. Conviction rate in the US has so much similarity to Japanese one. And people always say Prosecutors pick up the case that they surely would win for protecting their face. It sounds make sense but actually no. Prosecutors do that because they are busy and they need to do their work more efficiently otherwise they can't focus on some serious cases in there. In additon, thier justice system's issues you talk about is irrelevant with Japan's crime rates and their own image. Have you ever been to Japan? If you go there you would notice Japan is a definitely safe country with no doubt. And have you checked thr number of arrests? That is so low compared to other countries. As you know this figure can't be easily changed for prosecutor's sake. Then why they need to protect their face? I think what you talk about here is just pointless and I feel you are so much biased.
okawaii some of the stuff he is saying is right on the money actually in fact here’s this documentary on someone who was proven innocent of her crime yet still convicted only to be released by Japan’s version of the Innocence project ruclips.net/video/yYJpc2y37oU/видео.html
@okawaii, to answer your question, I have been to Japan several times. Kon’nichiwa. If you want a quick look at relative conviction rates between countries, look here: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conviction_rate#Japan. This list is overly simplified and doesn’t go into any investigative detail, but the numbers are there. And the point I wanted to make above was by no means definitive. Sadly, any major system in every country around the world suffers from a multitude of factors that effect it. I wasn’t trying to imply that the points I listed aren’t the ONLY factors that have made Japan’s current system the way it is today. But it’s pretty sad that, as safe as most of rural and urban Japan is, there’s still a tremendous influence behind the scenes. Japan’s Hollywood and a high percentage of their talent agencies are under a Yakuza thumb. Yet very little is ever done about it. You really have to start wondering.
@butterballporkbun: just reading through the top comments on that video makes me feel like I was lucky to get out of Japan in one piece. It also reinforces what I’ve believed for a long time. General game tip: if you want to drink all the alcohol in a bar, there is an easy way to get rid of your drunkness meter super quick. You can buy a heat action for 100 sp that’s the Drunken Master Ex move. Getting into a fight and using this move while drunk burns your ENTIRE drunkness meter all at once. Yes, you instantly become sober by beating the hell out of someone. Then you can go back into the bar and get crunked again immediately.
Can we talk about how Yagami pulls off this awesome kung fu and NOT cut of blood circulation in his legs with those tight ass jeans, I mean damn, I'm not whether to be worried, impressed or slightly aroused...
Not sure if I'm reading into it too much but it's an interesting gameplay story integration with the mortal wound mechanic. It shows a bit of a contrast between Kiryu and Yagami in that Yagami is much more fragile than Kiryu in that Kiryu is a beast that can tank bullet wounds, stab attacks and brutal attacks by his foes both in gameplay, when you have Kiryu's skills unlocked with so many stats boosts and skills that can nerf the damage of guns and stabs as well as in certain cutscenes to show how durable and badass Kiryu is while Yagami as you noted, to max out his stats it really only had three slots to unlock but has more skills and heat actions than Kiryu.

I just wanna draw attention to the social media bubbles, especially the two from the beginning of the episode that stood out to me. "I've always wanted a degenerate mess of a girlfriend." Dude, you ok? Need some help there buddy? And can't forget the other one that drew a chuckle from me: "A nice young man in a ninja suit helped me cross the road." So either you've just got legit ninjas being good samaritans in the Yakuza universe, or the dude got helped out by a robber (who probably stole his wallet too lets be honest), although I'm hoping we've just got actual ninjas wandering around and it's just apparently commonplace for that to be a thing. Either way, it's hilarious to me.
fallsilverh we do have a ninja wondering around the city and assisting us in fights from time to time as a friend (assuming the game is alluding to him haha)
Nico, there are a few (3, 4?) of those skill-unlock books. You can't go back and get them, but the skills will be available in a specific shop if you ever miss them, instead of free.
Newsreporter: In other news, we have reports from various sources that offices have been shown in disarray with no leads on the cause. *Switches to Yagami as he yells in the middle of the street* ARRRRRAAHSFHDHHGH!!!! Must...destroy...office supplies!!!!!!!!!! *2 hours later* Newsreporter: Another office has been reported destroyed and we still have no leads.
Man, I can't wait to see the finale's intro. If I wake up one day to find that you managed to make an outfit like the one Kiryu wears and tried singing Judgement, I would not only cry tears of respect but I would also laugh waaaaaaaaaaaay too much for my own good.
Since friend events have opened up now, there's a friend event that involves you to play and beat every course in the baseball minigame in order to unlock it so you just try to complete that little by little over time.
Just to let you know, Nico, you can set the items via the shortcut in this game for the real time usage. Just enter the item menu, go to the shortcut and set items in the direction of the d-pad you want.(up to 3 directions.)
1:00:00 Nico's the first guy I've seen get through that encounter without fighting, which is cool to know, I had thought he gets discovered anyways, since everyone else messes it up. Interesting to know that the game does allow for other options, which makes me wonder if the going in the window option was potentially viable.
Kaede: "I want to go overseas, so I'm working on speaking here. This hotel attracts a number of customers from overseas." *A couple minutes later on the 6th floor...* Nico: "Is this a hotel or something..?"
Fights in Judgment are a lot faster-paced than in the Yakuza series. Enemies and bosses tend to go down fairly quickly, especially if you combine combos and EX actions. But in exchange, Yagami's health is incredibly easy to knock down, the new Mortal Wound mechanic prevents you from spamming health items effectively, and there aren't many good health items in this game (Staminan Royale and such have been removed, and the really effective new items to heal yourself are ridiculously expensive).
Me: Yagami told Kaito he couldn't afford repairs so I guess I should be careful not to fly into anything with it Nico: RAAAAAA DESTROY EVERYTHING RAAAAAAA
Everyone: "ANOTHER LATE UPLOAD!?" Me: *laughs in PST* Also sucks nico didnt sing the intro this time, but the finale will be worth it *Also mortal wounds suck* Edit: Also, the poppo friendships are the easiest to do for sp, since you get 500 for maxing it
47:05 Yay, it's time for lockpi-I mean KimuTaku ASMR! :D (*whispers* Yosh!) You can always try investigating other things aside from the cats as well, Nico. Some of the inner monologues Yagami has about what he's looking at can be funny :)
So we have Shuichi, Kaito AND Kaede in this game. I wonder when the rest of the V3 cast is going to arrive. Kokichi is probably the leader of the Yakuza and probably the final boss
This was a great episode! It really showcases the difference in tone a game can achieve when set in the same city in the same engine... All that Ace Attorney paying off, now we know how to Present Evidence! A tip for the lock-picking mini-game, as in real life, you might want to start from the far-back, since I can totally imagine a 6-pin lock with a high-placement pin to the back, and a low one to the front. No way to make it work unless you start from the back. Not impossible, it'll just save ya some time down the line.
Yagami walking down the street Majima jumps out of a trashcan Yagami:woah the hell Majima:prepare yourself kiryu-chan oh wrong guy my bad Majima goes back inside trashcan Yagami: ... is he just gonna stay there?
Here's a fun little trick: If you get the EX Drunken Master skill, you can pull off a strong heat action that can target up to 3 people! The only requirement is that your drunkenness is at a high enough level. Drinking a bottle of Jack Daniel's from any Poppo will give you 8 Drunkenness and 1 EX Gauge, basically giving you a free 3-person heat action. It's a little pricey, but helpful when you're in a bind (it instantly sobers you up once you use it, though, and *staying* drunk can raise the actual rate your EX gauge grows in battle) Basically, getting drunk in this game is a little bit busted.
Shintani: he’s a smart Yakuza if he killed the guy you wouldn’t find a body. Me playing this game extremely tired: oh yeah that makes sense.... *five seconds later* Me realizing something: Wait! I thought you people have been saying he wanted to send a message this whole time! How the fuck do you send a message without a body??!??! Honestly in that single moment Shintani convinced me that he did it.
Thanks for another awesome video! Keep up the great work! Also, when you see the other people’s thoughts/comments while walking, some of them are pretty funny so it’s worth taking a good luck at them and ( while you may know this) try to examine everything you can in investigations since you get bonus SP and sometimes they trigger items to appear such as the book the guy was reading
I still miss the first actor a lot. His face and voice had such a presence you’d genuinely feel terrified. He also felt more “yakuza” to me, the age factor also helped. It’s a real shame
Me: Nico, you need to stop uploading so late. You need sleep. Nico: Oh yeah, that’s what I get when I use y = mx + b right? Me: That’s “slope” you demon fool!
Nico: I wonder if we ever get into a courtroom Judge: The People vs. Takayuki Yagami is now in session. Mr. Yagami you are charged with 1,000,000,000 yen in property damage. How do you plead?
Fun fact the Japanese language is almost entirely without sarcasm. The language is one built on respect and politeness. So sarcasm is an unknown concept.
You ever wonder if Yagami will have to use "Black Dynamite" levels of logic? Okay, the victim was killed in an alley. Alley is also used to describe bowling, in bowling you try to knock over pins, pins are associated with needles, needle was an ability in Kirby's Adventure, which was made by HAL, which is the name of the computer in 2001: A Space Odyssey, 2001 was the year just after the new millennium, a millennium is 1,000 years, 1,000 or 1.000 is the perfect batting average in baseball, baseball uses bats in order to hit the ball, the bat is the weapon of choice for Goro Majima. The killer is Goro Majima.
The possible reason that I could come up with as to why the yakuza building is so complex was that it was to accommodate Japan’s compacted living/working spaces, it’s disorientating design made it a prime location for this Yakuza clan to set up an HQ and make it easier for them to defend the place. That or Kamurocho Has architects with some pretty interesting thoughts and ideas.
Nico, here's some general tips for pronouncing Japanese words: Every word is broken down into syllables. Each syllable consists of consonant(s) and then a vowel. In a syllable, sometimes there will be more than one consonant and then a vowel, or just a vowel on its own, but almost never a vowel and then a consonant... (more about that in a sec). For example, Kyorei. At the moment, you're pronouncing it as 'kyor'-'ay'. In English, we tend to attach/slur syllables together, and your inclination to say 'kyor' is an example of that. But in Japanese, there isn't that slurring. Instead, it's detached into clear syllables. Kyo - re - i. (Keeyo - reh - ee). If you say this at the right pace, it sounds like 'keyo-ray(e)'. Now here's one that might trip you up: When it comes to the "vowel and then a consonant", sometimes you have vowels followed by an n. In this case, it's never a hard 'n' but a soft one to close the syllable. 'Shin' from Shintani is Shi + that soft n. If you imagine saying 'un', as in 'unstoppable', and then if you remove the 'u' sound, you'll get the right n sound. So, Shintani is pronounced 'shi+n - ta - ni'. (But fast enough so the syllables don't sound like separate words). If you sound things out while keeping this in mind, you'll have a much easier time figuring out how to pronounce Japanese words in the future.
*Why yagami is so good at kicking things yet he isn't on the soccor team.* Coach: Hey yagami, the point of shooting a ball is to hit the goal and not give it to the opponents, not hit the goalkeeper in the face with it, as well as all the opponents on the other team
The EX Actions with Moving cars is really done by grabbing an enemy at an intersection on Shichifuku Street if it's what I believe people are referring to.
Real talk, I LOVE stealth missions in video games (Or really sneaking into places within a video game in general). Idk why, but I just freakin love sneaking around, especially that one chapter in Uncharted 2: Among thieves. Definitely one of the reasons why I need to play Metal Gear one of these days..... Granted, I have played MGS5. But I’ve really wanted to play the previous games as well.
Nico, just so you know, that skill book you found was actually missable. In fact I missed it during my play through. I’ve heard that along with that book there are two other missable skill books in later chapters. Apparently you can buy any books you’ve missed for a high price later in the game. But you should keep your eyes peeled for them anyway. Hope this was useful.
You know, I don't think I could use a drone so casually to look around windows, I'd never know what would I end up seeing and I could bet some of it would not leave my head ever
So fun fact the main protagonist's actor also played as a Kamen Rider from Kamen Rider OOO. Which nico you should definitely watch, if you want to see this dude from judgement do a lot of wacky but badass things
At 39:00 while they are talking on the roof all I can do is state at the open window below them and go Nani the fuck?! What is going on in there and I can't stop laughing ahahaha
The thing I like about this about game is how Yagami Ex actions/his normal moves are shown really well by how mobile compared to kiryu, which are more powerful but isn't as mobile like going on walls kicking off of them then kicking and doing crazy shit which is cool.
I feel like this is what is really the big difference from Yakuza and this game, the fact that they didn’t just straight up storm the Yakuza hideout like Kiryu would and instead investigated and had a stake out...it’s really interesting to see how much of a difference this is
Sorry, instead of listening to nico's introduction I was distracted by the word bubble at 0:46 saying "I've always wanted a degenerate mess of a girlfriend" WTF 😂
So, I want to give you tips on the friend mechanic. One, you should make it your sub priority as they boost your city reputation and also are necessary to access this game’s version of sub stories (Sub cases). Note: They are NOT substories themselves but are absolutely essential to unlock all of the sub cases (They also can help you in sub cases or etc). It is your best interest to attempt to complete them as fast as possible since they do not show up on the tasks menu. Your only indication when they are not complete is when the friend icon on them isn’t fully green, so if you want to be reminded what to do, do it now or talk to them again later. In the map, it does not show all of them currently as some come after sub cases, from completing other friendships, or in later chapters so check your map every chapter. One friend you should do first is the batting cages one as he gives you a neat item to help complete the mini game. Note: There is a friend that only appears after completing all of the challenges and home runs courses in the batting cages.
You miss a lot of SP when you don't examine everything during the search mission. You could have looked at all the people in the windows when you were searching for Kaito. Just a heads up.
Hey Nico, loving this series so far! Im playing it myself and just recently discovered something. Theres a fancy store called Le Marche and if you go inside and just listen, i think you'll be mighty pleased with what you hear ;)
*Yagami walks into the building to buy the figure and accidentally bumps into a rather large man looking at figures of characters from H-games* Yagami: Oh, sorry. Daru: No problem dude. *And then carries on to explain his problem with dating to Yagami* Yagami: Just get the dating perk man!
Ya know if I didn't know any better I'd probably think this is just how Yu ended up after persona 4 golden. I'm also fairly certain that Yagami hears I am thou thou art I every time he meets someone new.

Kiryu: What is stealth?
I went to Kamurocho, and things did, in fact, NOT explode when I walked into them.

@@babazadara3351 I am slain.
"Are all the British people from Ace Attorney fleeing into this game- ALL TEN OF THEM?"
I just wanna draw attention to the social media bubbles, especially the two from the beginning of the episode that stood out to me.
"I've always wanted a degenerate mess of a girlfriend." Dude, you ok? Need some help there buddy?
And can't forget the other one that drew a chuckle from me:
"A nice young man in a ninja suit helped me cross the road." So either you've just got legit ninjas being good samaritans in the Yakuza universe, or the dude got helped out by a robber (who probably stole his wallet too lets be honest), although I'm hoping we've just got actual ninjas wandering around and it's just apparently commonplace for that to be a thing. Either way, it's hilarious to me.
fallsilverh we do have a ninja wondering around the city and assisting us in fights from time to time as a friend (assuming the game is alluding to him haha)
Solstice Trinité I’m completely blind to the game lol, but man I would laugh my ass off
Nico, there are a few (3, 4?) of those skill-unlock books. You can't go back and get them, but the skills will be available in a specific shop if you ever miss them, instead of free.
Nico: I wonder if we'll end up going to court...
Judge: LET THE 3D 1080P CONFETTI FLYYYYYY!!
*INCOMING INESCAPABLE LAG*
Nishiki every single intro
Feels every single one
Just to let you know, Nico, you can set the items via the shortcut in this game for the real time usage. Just enter the item menu, go to the shortcut and set items in the direction of the d-pad you want.(up to 3 directions.)
1:00:00 Nico's the first guy I've seen get through that encounter without fighting, which is cool to know, I had thought he gets discovered anyways, since everyone else messes it up. Interesting to know that the game does allow for other options, which makes me wonder if the going in the window option was potentially viable.
Kaede: "I want to go overseas, so I'm working on speaking here. This hotel attracts a number of customers from overseas."
*A couple minutes later on the 6th floor...*
Nico: "Is this a hotel or something..?"
Man, Yagami likes using his LEGG when he's beating up people, kinda like a certain other prosecutor...
17:45 "Let's go see Shintani!"
Oh hey, he got the name right.
"Or is it *Shinitani*?"
*WOH BREAKING THE LAAAAAAW*
Fights in Judgment are a lot faster-paced than in the Yakuza series. Enemies and bosses tend to go down fairly quickly, especially if you combine combos and EX actions. But in exchange, Yagami's health is incredibly easy to knock down, the new Mortal Wound mechanic prevents you from spamming health items effectively, and there aren't many good health items in this game (Staminan Royale and such have been removed, and the really effective new items to heal yourself are ridiculously expensive).
Me: Yagami told Kaito he couldn't afford repairs so I guess I should be careful not to fly into anything with it
Nico: RAAAAAA DESTROY EVERYTHING RAAAAAAA
Why were still awake..........because WERE BREEEAAKIIINNGGGG ZAAAAAAA RUUUUULLLEEEE
"NicoB uploads new video"
Who needs to sleep anyway?
Renato Acevedo agreed
Everyone: "ANOTHER LATE UPLOAD!?"
Me: *laughs in PST*
Also sucks nico didnt sing the intro this time, but the finale will be worth it
*Also mortal wounds suck*
Edit: Also, the poppo friendships are the easiest to do for sp, since you get 500 for maxing it
Lol I remember when Nico used to upload at midnight pst time. It fucked up my sleep schedule for years XD
When Nico got the Double Quickstep, it was literally titled "Rush Training."
21:05 Remember in Yakuza 0, Majima got attack to his eye by ice pick or needle? This is the bad end of those events.
Aw the intro was shortened? I was looking forward to rocking out to the whole thing again.
You can always look it up here on RUclips lol
@@sbfh014 I might just have to do that. lol
Breaking the laaw~ i want Nico to sing it actually. As bad as it may be since its mostly japanese XD
47:05 Yay, it's time for lockpi-I mean KimuTaku ASMR! :D (*whispers* Yosh!)
You can always try investigating other things aside from the cats as well, Nico. Some of the inner monologues Yagami has about what he's looking at can be funny :)
So we have Shuichi, Kaito AND Kaede in this game. I wonder when the rest of the V3 cast is going to arrive. Kokichi is probably the leader of the Yakuza and probably the final boss
So...maybe the killer? THE MASTERMIND IS KOKICHI?! NO!
I love the appreciation where you can just walk into and out of Don Quixote without having to load a whole new area.
Yagami walking down the street
Majima jumps out of a trashcan
Yagami:woah the hell
Majima:prepare yourself kiryu-chan oh wrong guy my bad
Majima goes back inside trashcan
Yagami: ... is he just gonna stay there?
"It's not our job to find the real killer."
Phoenix Wright: "What? Since when?!"
From watching another playthrough, I can indeed confirm that flubbing some of the questions in KJ Art can indeed result in additional battles.
Hey Nico you need to scan the Posters you can examine them in Investigation mode as well for extra SP some moves and skills are only unlocked there
People in comments: omgg like nico uploaded super late lol
Me, a penguin since 2015: hehehe... just like old times. Sleep is for the weak.
Nico, new plan. First, get a Shuichi costume for Yagami, and then a blonde wig for Kaede. GUYS, WE CAN HAVE THE CUTEST SHIP EVER!!
Here's a fun little trick:
If you get the EX Drunken Master skill, you can pull off a strong heat action that can target up to 3 people!
*five seconds later*
Me realizing something: Wait!
Master the keys to unlocking...
MAYBE JILL, THE MASTER OF UNLOCKING CAN HELP!
Nico: I wonder if we ever get into a courtroom
Judge: The People vs. Takayuki Yagami is now in session. Mr. Yagami you are charged with 1,000,000,000 yen in property damage. How do you plead?
3:37 Kiryu actually could do that in Yakuza 0, don't worry though, you'll get a chance to do it with Kiryu in later games, notably Yakuza 5.
Believe it or not, there are people who would live in an internet cafe booth in Japan.
I find the lockpicking in this game to be very fun. :)
Nico, here's some general tips for pronouncing Japanese words:
Every word is broken down into syllables.
Now here's one that might trip you up:
When it comes to the "vowel and then a consonant", sometimes you have vowels followed by an n.
21:41 yeah, what do you think this is, Ace Attorney? This is real life Kamurocho, man
You know what I feel like an IDIOT because I didn't get that pun.
Bar Tender - Bartender :(
XD I got confused why he had that name. Like....did they purposedly nickname him that?
*Why yagami is so good at kicking things yet he isn't on the soccor team.*
Coach: Hey yagami, the point of shooting a ball is to hit the goal and not give it to the opponents, not hit the goalkeeper in the face with it, as well as all the opponents on the other team
When they showed that scene of what the prosecution think went down between Hamura and Kume, I got major Return of the Obra Dinn vibes.
I hate and love them, they are interesting and excited but the tension scares me shitless.
I was wondering how you would shorten the intro. Perfect
Yes new episode
Yeah! I'm never early, btw love your videos, Nico.
Bless that perfection of an intro
Also, Yagami going into a pawn shop and finds a lil pink haired girl (figurine)? Coincidence?
At 39:00 while they are talking on the roof all I can do is state at the open window below them and go Nani the fuck?! What is going on in there and I can't stop laughing ahahaha
Fifty friends, that's like five times more than the entire population of London
See a new Nicob vid
Me:Aw shit here we go again
I cant wait for more, really curious about the game so far.
I really like yagamis voice, very soft and gentle compared to the shrill shrieking around him
I kinda wish the "Now Back To" section was the beginning of Breaking the World rather than the end of it
This late at night!!!! Nico some of us like to SLEEP 😭 Doesn't matter though, I'm so happy for the upload!
You miss a lot of SP when you don't examine everything during the search mission. You could have looked at all the people in the windows when you were searching for Kaito. Just a heads up.
A detective and his friend Kaito. Makes me wonder if Monokuma would kidnap the wrong person. It would make class trials really boring for him.

I lost my shit at the sudden “KAEDE!”
Hey Nico, loving this series so far! Im playing it myself and just recently discovered something. Theres a fancy store called Le Marche and if you go inside and just listen, i think you'll be mighty pleased with what you hear ;)
nice to see keada getting minor character roles still first Sines gate zero now judgement
*Yagami walks into the building to buy the figure and accidentally bumps into a rather large man looking at figures of characters from H-games*
Yagami: Oh, sorry.
Daru: No problem dude. *And then carries on to explain his problem with dating to Yagami*
Yagami: Just get the dating perk man!
Once you get the free vr pass, nothing is too expensive
Ya know if I didn't know any better I'd probably think this is just how Yu ended up after persona 4 golden. I'm also fairly certain that Yagami hears I am thou thou art I every time he meets someone new.
