I just want to express my opinion, I don't mean to judge anyone, but I have quite a feeling, that our lovely Andrea has came to this kind of a doctor, with an intention to change 1 thing on her face initially. But, as soon as the doctor started to say I am not the doctor who is here to draw circles and tell you what to change, he have mentioned at least 10 things he needs to change! No wonder that all patients of these doctors face problems of not being able to stop changing their body. I am so happy to see how Andrea said to him that she thinks she's beautiful, because she is very beautiful, and she knows it! Doctor may be a professional, and he knows his job very well, but that's the trick.

    • @rebeccabb5914
      @rebeccabb5914 5 лет назад

@@herflower05 The filler cannot fix puffy eye bags. But if your bags are actually just a bit of sagging skin, the filler will help. I have filler for the hollow tear troughs and it helps only a bit with pulling up the little bags but sadly, the improvement to the bags was only modest. Great for the hollows though!

    • @vilmasucy7579

Same here. You just need a skilled Dr to do the Botox & Fillers so it looks natural. Only the very first time I had Botox at age 40 in 2008, did a “nurse” (in the office of a very well respected dermatologist, who assured me her nurse was very skilled) do my Botox. I ended up with a lazy eyebrow for about 6 weeks. Never again. Since that experience I have only had Drs inject my face. I started fillers at age 44. My mom had a full neck & face lift at age 70. She is now 84 & still looks good. I see my future, I’m just not ready to do the full on face lift just yet.

She was gorgeous before and just as gorgeous afterwards. Her post procedure inflammation is perfectly normal and will take a a small amount of time to normalize. Her face. Her body! One thing I really like about your videos is how real and genuine you are. I appreciate your honesty with this video because I know that many women partake in this industry. And, that being said, I couldn't help but feel a little heart broken to see you embark on this path since it is first and foremost an industry that profits off those little (but not really little) nagging feelings we have about our appearance as women. I also think it's important to not forgo your judgment when having an appointment with a male surgeon. This is your body and you are the one who knows best, not he or any other person. I, do however, agree with your husband: you are enough!

thank you for giving such a clear journalistic review of the whole thing, and your approach and the doctor's approach.... just to make you aware, i am colour theory trained and studied in an art school for 4 years, and do colour analysis on people regularly.... and just wanted to say that wearing the right colours in your outfit and in your hair and on your face can make all the difference in making you look 8-10 years younger than if you are in colours that are not best suited to you..... in this video in the beginning you are in Soft Autumn colours, which are beige-y and warm.... both in your clothing and in the warm toned highlights in your hair..... when you are actually a cool-toned and more clear-toned female, who i would say is either a True Winter (good in clear violets, lilacs, lilacey blues as best options, and with cool toned dark hair for you (no warm-toned highlights)) or a True Summer (similar colours but a bit more soft, light and muted (bit more towards light grey in tone), not quite so bright and saturated and a little more towards lilacy rose from the bluish violets)...... it's all about how the light bounces and reflects also from your clothes and hair and the reflections it creates on your face.... and how the natural coolness of your lips and hair contrasts with the skin etc..... of course makeup is about playing with colours also and creating smth interesting and new, so not wishing to take away from the fun and play aspect of it, but good to be aware ..... love you lots, you are so cute and pretty.... and love to listen to you, you have such a lovely personality..... big love from London, UK. Liina xxx

WOW!! As you said yourself, & all we subscribers know, you are absolutely beautiful!! That being said...Dr. Dhir deserves an award for taking a beautiful patient & KEEPING them beautiful as well as looking like themselves!! The difference in your under eyes was noticeable during the procedure, as were your lips, which he ensured were symmetric by checking that your teeth showed the same if he moved your lip. You found an unbelievably talented artist in a doctor’s body! You don’t look 25, because that would be so unnatural, but you do look like someone I would not believe if you told me your age! I would guess you were at least 2-3 years younger because you look so fresh faced & awake, which let’s be honest, at our age, (even with a good nights sleep), the blue circles still show since there isn’t enough to cover it! 👏🏻👏🏻BRAVA!!!👏🏻👏🏻 You were beautiful & you still ARE beautiful..you just look a little more revived now! P.S. I think your lips & cheeks look wonderful! If you have that many people complementing you, you need to learn to believe it! It suits your face extremely well! 🤗💜😘

Oh my God Andrea! THANK YOU! 😍 A few weeks ago I started to think about the possibility of getting the 'dark circles' procedure and since then I've been looking for opinions, pics and info about it so THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video, you helped me a lot! My dark circles are way darker than yours (also my under eye area is very dry) and they have always been an insecurity of mine, on top of that, not a single concealer has ever worked perfectly for me. I use the NARS Radiant Creamy in Custard (the best I've ever tried and trust me... I tried several lol) and yes, it has coverage but I think it isnt enough for me. I live in Spain and I cant afford to go to LA but this video definitely helped me to make me sure about my decision and I'm going to start searching for a good doctor here in Spain. Again, thank you so much! Besos ❤

Your eye area looks sooo good I love it! I have the same “problem” my under eye skin is so thin and looks very hollow I would love to do this procedure, will have to research doctors in my area! Thank you so much for the video! P.S. I work in a medical field and the doctor should never ever do anything without gloves, he had only one glove on 🤯

  • @curvs4me

He is definitely one of the best I've seen. The cheekbones really pulled up so your face angles in. It was definitely square before.
The only reason you don't look 25 is the hollow in the upper eyelid. It's always been the one thing they tried to fix with a facelift. That just exposes the growing hollow. If you look at women in the mid 50s, early 60s they don't have any deep wrinkles. However, the crease on the upper eyelid is constantly growing from the late 20s. By 55 the thin skin is laying over the eyeball and laying right on the inner orbital bone by the bridge of the nose.
This is the number one sign of aging for me. It totally changes the appearance of the face. The difference between 20 something party girl and mature face. Can anyone see what I'm talking about? Doctors are just beginning to work on it now. Wow what a difference it makes! I was studying my face vs a picture of my 28 year old face for years trying to find the difference besides the usual suspects. It's almost invisible to us because it appears like a slight sagging eyelid. What it really is, is a complete and total loss of collagen on the upper eyelid crease and below. The skin is resting directly on the inner eyeball. It's also resting directly on the bridge bone and where the inside orbit meets. Take a look at your kids, you'll immediately see the difference. The outer 1/2-1/3 of the saggy eyelid is also like a deflated tire. If you look at a young person, you will see it's rounded out, a slight bubble beginning at the bottom of the eyebrow and going outward. It was extremely difficult to pin down. It was definitely an aha moment!

There is no filler in this world that can make you confident in the long run! Security & confidence come from the inside not outside!.. Fain! Bravo pt curaj! ❤❤❤

Agree, he's very talented but he charmed her into having more done than she intended. I agree that eye work sometimes needs cheek to support it, but I think she only wanted a tiny tweak on her lip and he was too pushy and did too much. Still, it all wears off, so lesson learnt.

I have hereditary dark circles and puffiness, and it's been bothering my whole life and I know it will get worse with age, I'm 27 now, but I definetely will be doing something similar when it comes the time. People get so crazy when they hear "plastic surgery/procedure" but when done right I see nothing wrong. We try to enhace ourselves all the time, makeup, hair, microblading, eyelash extensions, even waxing your brows...so people need to chill.

I've always wanted my under eye circles gone but after watching this I definitely don't want to do it. I felt faint just watching that! 😂 Each to their own I guess but I see very young people getting botox and fillers and I think how are they going to feel about themselves when they're 60 or 70 or 80 etc. I just hope when their looks start deteriorating that they'll be happy with themselves without feeling that invasive surgery is their only option. We live in a very image based world right now. It's a nice feeling to look good, but looks aren't everything. You can be the prettiest person in the world and still be miserable. Just my thoughts 😊

Natural look should be a preference . Cheek fillers and lip fillers do not give a natural look on the face. She looked younger before she had the fillers on. One of the reasons why my doctor had told me do not get the fillers since they will not make you look any younger or natural.

I’m in my mid 40s and I’ve been told many times that I look 10 years younger. I’ve never had anything done to my face but I do try to get my 8 hrs of sleep daily, I drink lots of water/no alcohol, and have been wearing sunblock religiously for decades. I rarely wear makeup and stay out of the sun as much a possible. It’s not science; just be consistent with your beauty regimen and don’t let stress and worries of this life get to you. It also helps to keep your circle of friends small!!!
