It’s nice to watch content from our city. I see plenty other cities on RUclips, and we have a nice black community here in Indianapolis. It’s great to see our own people!
@24:08 Facts! I'm from MFC, which is basically the same area, and he's right, the area we grew up in is very city. It's always motion, and always noise. When I moved to the outskirts of the city, it felt like a different city almost. No lie! Houses far out ain't got alleys, corner stores, big porches, or a lot of foot traffic. If you from MFC, Crown Hill, and Mad Dog, then you from the heart of the city. I've been to Chicago, I've been to NYC, and I'm telling you, if you from that area, you'll feel right at home in Chicago and NYC (Queens more specifically).
I swear I love the inner city it reminds me of of Chicago a lot of traffic foot and car traffic I’m from the far east and I swear I say it look country and really is everything so spread out if you don’t got a car you through
Wow old stomping grounds. When we first moved to nap we stayed at 3744 Kenwood n I went to school #43. Brings back so many good memories, it was real cool back then🩷
you did a great job, I'm an Illinois State Native but I been between Nap and Illinois since I was 10 years old and this city has a ton of history here. I love the content keep up the great work.

I don't think, because you live in the hood that, y'all are bad at ALL. Alot of y'all have alot of heart. Just keep y'all's head up, trust God and let HIM lead you not the streets.
Definitely a cultural change it’s not a violent city like our next door neighbor states if you mind your business you could never even come across a problem besides some pot holes lol back then it was a little crazy but now it’s a small quiet city with a lot of opportunities an great place to raise a family be safe glad you guys enjoying it so far keep your faith

My sis came by one day with my niece and asked me to walk to McDonald's with them. We smoked a joint before we left, I hit it and dropped to the floor🤣🤣My sis pulled me up, I was out for a minute. We started walking from 34TH & Kenwood to 34Th& Salem(We had to drop neice off to daycare). What I thought was a big viscious dog ran up to the fence of a house we walked by, I took off running and didn't stop til I got to McDonald's. Sis made it to McDonald's and asked me WTF is wrong with you? I said didn't you see that big a s s dog coming after us? She sad, fool, he was in a gate and was a little dog. I knew she was lying, she talked me into walking back through there. It was a d a m n Yorkie🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I told her don't ever smoke that s h i t with me no more(I think my other sis boyfriend put some hash or embalming fluid in it). That s h i t was scary. That's a bad area. I know it look cool now, but I don't trust nothin over there after an old man was killed a few years back on 35th or 37th & Kenwood. I think they must of thought he was tellin on ninjas. We moved to 3463 Kenwood after our house burned down on Stuart street 1981. We only lived there for a year til moms got married and we moved to Broad Ripple. The McClendons lived on the corner of 35th back then. I think they had property a few doors down from us. Danny Carter and his sister Lanky lived across from us. Danny and Cornelius McCLendon hung like they were blood. My pop brought me $50 to buy me some clothes. I bought a few pairs of Levi straight leg jeans, I handwashed one pair and hung them on a line in our back yard. Woke up the next morning they were gone. I was mad as a mutha*****
Indianapolis don’t operate on gangs just small clique of criminals family members an child hood best friends that will end up killing each other anyway so no bloods no crips no bd no gd have no areas in the city it’s just east side dudes an west side dudes
I’d say very far from the most dangerous, not a lot going on over here besides a bunch of junkies and a while bunch of petty shit, I’d say 27th and Clifton and Udell area is way worse…almost go clapped due to some drunk guy road raging
