Definitely hard to have practical balance of leisure time and amusement/relaxation. When you get off work you just want to relax it seems. You’re exhausted. But on weekends, or when you have more time off work available it’s good to have leisure time and enjoy hobbies. Time away from the internet is a good use of leisure time. Reading, music, and getting into nature are the things I enjoy. play/amusement/entertainment is a good way to socialize and make new connections/friends.

One thing that working out has taught me is to do it despite feeling tired and the same can apply to other (active) hobbies thy required a degree of effort. When I get off work and I feel mentally and physically exhausted I don’t feel like working out but I go anyways and as soon as I get in there I get in the flow and it always helps. Same with reading instead of browsing social media

Awesome timing, I was just thinking about it several days ago. Your distinction between leisure and free time is spot on, just clicked in my mind.
