    Hey guys!
We had a ton of fun putting this video together over the weekend, and we absolutely love the footage this lens produces!
There are a ton of great vintage options out there to help indie filmmakers find the look they want, while also not breaking the bank in the process!
    Community Questions:
As winter quarantine is on its way, what are y'all planning to shoot between now and the spring?
If you've been working on them, what's your favorite vintage lens? Any suggestions we should try?

I'm reviewing vintage lenses in South Korea. Your video was very helpful to me. Thank you.

I’ve just picked up a 3mil serial no. So 1958-1961. Focus is stiff but it’s super simple to open up and replace the old grease to get that focus buttery smooth

From what I understand, those focus rings dry out, so a cleaning and re oiling would fix that sluggishness

The 'silver' version of the Tessar looks different from my 'zebra' version. Do you know if they're optically the same?

Not entirely sure, can’t find anything online, but as far as we know they should be the same! We’ve seen them in different casings before, so it would make sense to be the same optics, possibly a different make year? Thanks for watching!

@@SuperMoonStudios I would say the silver (14 blades) is a little bit sharper...
