Great video Chris! That's the good thing about living so far north, that sun doesn't get real high in the winter. Beautiful light, stunning woodlands, and amazing conditions in this one! That final shot at 8:24 was the one, a stunner for sure! Looks like a great lens too! Really enjoyed it mate!
That final shot is stunning! Very beautiful light. I haven't been out to the woods since the end of Autumn, but this shows that you can still find a bit of colour even in Winter.
@@ChrisBaitsonPhoto Cheers, looked up their website already. Any chance you happen to know the particular tracks you used for this video (Using A Carl Zeiss Tessar 50mm f2.8 For Woodland Photography)? I am using a Zeiss 50mm f/2.8 as well but have never thought of using it for woodlands or landscapes (mostly do flowers and portraits with it), so that's definitely an inspiration for the next times I go out shooting. Thanks. Any by the way, I love the accent, reminds me of my youth when I studied at Leeds.
I love your enthusiasm when you explain your thought process in choosing your shots. I get that excited too. Photography is such an amazing art form.
Superb video. And the RP is back. Yaaaaay!
Haha the RP isn’t going anywhere yet.
The images are stunning. Underscored by the fantastic music.

Thanks Paul. I’d still rather be in Florida though it’s not the best here this time of year 😂

Thank you Courtney. I’ve been quite lucky with the light I’ve had in the woods recently. All depends on the weather 🤞🏻
Stonking light in this video Chris. Twigmoor is a blaze of colour when the Azaleas and Rhododendrons come into flower later on this year.
I intend to head back nearer spring time to see how it looks then. This was my first visit there and I loved the place.
Can you tell me the settings you use for this photos? Iso, apperature, shutter speed? 😊
excellent video as always those woods looked awesome. what was the adapter used for the lens as i didn't hear it mentioned.
It’s an M42 to EF adaptor screwed into an EF to RF adaptor. A bit janky but it works.
@@ChrisBaitsonPhoto thank you i thought so but I didnt want to guess :)
Great video. What music do you use? Gives the video something really atmospheric.
I use epidemic sound for my music tracks.

Jena is city in Germany and it shouldn't be pronounced like name Jane but rather "YA-NAH".
You want to hear me pronounce road!
@@ChrisBaitsonPhoto To your defense, I heard this incorrect pronunciation on every single video about Carl Zeiss objectives.
