    What I like about your Arnold tuts that they can be tested & applied so fast, without need to dabble & dig for hours in MtoA, waiting for your next videos asap :)

    Thanks a lot!

    • @AcademicPhoenixPlus
      @AcademicPhoenixPlus  6 лет назад

      Hi Ella, thank you for your message. Try increasing your samples in your light, as well as your values in the Arnold tab (in render settings). that should help decrease the noise. If it doesn't, do you mind posting your noise in my FB community? I can see it there and give feedback. :) facebook.com/groups/academicphoenixpluscommunity/

    great video, one quick question, when I was teached arnold I was told to use exposure and not mess with intensity . is that incorrect?

    • @jspilner
      @jspilner 5 лет назад +1

      you can do whatever you want, until you get your result to look like you want it to, only these increments you do, will eat up more of your computing power, and thus increase render time.
      but go nuts, figure out on your own.

    • @AcademicPhoenixPlus
      @AcademicPhoenixPlus  5 лет назад

      Hi Piwypd0, thank you for your comment and it's a good question. According to Solid Angle, Exposure is just a multiplier to the intensity. It will give you the same results. They go into it deeper in their site if you are interested. :) docs.arnoldrenderer.com/display/A5AFMUG/Lights

    Hi, I have a question. When I use arnold metal preset shader to an object and I put it under a plane and add directional light on top of the plane, why the light still affect the metal, I see some specular on the metal?

    i thought warm is orange and blue is cool

    • @AcademicPhoenixPlus
      @AcademicPhoenixPlus  4 года назад

      Visually it is. But in thermal degrees, the lower temperature is yellow/orange, and the higher temperature is blue. Take a look at temperatures of stars. Our sun is considered in the cooler part compared to the blue star counterparts. :)
