- I remember listening to the Beavis & Butthead Soundtrack back in the mid 90s. This song, its main bass riff, was something else... it took me a while to figure out what was going on back then, and even now I had to revisit and re-digest the song. It´s always fun playing Claypool songs indeed.

This dude literally made a ton of bassist learn how to play this on social media after he posted this. So glad he did because I love this song.
I've always wondered what it looked like, sounds so crazy without seeing it.
The Beavis and Butthead Soundtrack was one of my favorite albums back then. Red Hot Chili Peppers and anthrax and jackyl.. I totally forgot about this album.
I bought that album when it was new haha! Still put it on every now and then, it's a masterpiece!
Somehow an USA promotional copy not for sale of an 5 track EP for this album found its way to a Finnish flea market few years after its release, and into my hands when i was like 10 or 11. It used to be on heavy play and still got it, listened to this song yesterday since a long time.

Thank you! It depends on the song. Les does mostly favor direct recording sound, as well as bridge pickups and boosted mids. That is always a good start.
