Just wanted to clarify my use of the phrase 'time gated' since people seem to be confusing it with things taking time to unlock etc. What I mean by time gated here is that there are certain things in the game that you can only do at certain times, like during this video I try to trade on the auction house or whatever they call it, and it says I couldn't buy or sell until 7:00 AM. I feel like that's incredibly dumb if that's how it works. Also, things like pvp didn't start until 10:00 which I'm guessing meant 10 am. Locking these feature behind 'time gates', how I'm using the phrase here and yes I understand it's not the general use of said phrase, seems incredibly dumb for a world wide audience especially on a North American server. I understand China probably has whatever rules for games because yay China, and that's fine. Hope this helps people understand better what I was trying to say.
Welcome to Chinese mmo trash games you find on mobile, nothing innovative here except copying the concept of WoW while adding all the abhorrent mobile features. It feels lifeless and soulless and makes blizzard look like a charity organization
Can't wait for this era of getting the same game from 10 different developer studios with little to no changes just to make money and not make something different that's fun for the sake of entertaining players.
Time gate is only a problem for people who want to just keep going and going and going as much as they can every day. I've never reached any "gate" yet and 95% of players never will.
If you don't mind me asking how long have you been playing and not noticed any time gated stuff? I would be interested in playing but if I run out of stuff to do in two hours of game time I'll probably check out another game.
@carltaylor2975 if you haven't started yet it's a non issue for you the early gates are passed.
@@jeffcarrier9808 Oh. I'm confused, so now people can play as much as they want without worrying about being gated? What was the big deal begin with if it was only limited in that way for a little while in the first place?
@@carltaylor2975 people making big deal out of nothing, or finding reasons to make angry videos. It's simply how they handled content rollout. Something opens up every day for the community.
I don't see a problem about the time gated content , it gives the casual players or those who come home late after work to catch up with the new content. it is only a problem for those who want to yolo the game in one sitting ;)
not only is it time gated but the level cap is 20 and there is zero end game XDDDDD its a dogshit mobile game. play a real mmo
time gated how? i know the game isnt amazing me and my buddy have been enjoying it for what it is, a way to waste time till our main stuff comes out but i did notice that the main story after some of the quests says like 8 hours or some shit but it also gives a level requirement and if you hit that level there is no time gate, maybe you found something we have not seen yet tho?
I was playing in the middle of the night and it said I couldn't buy or sell stuff on the trade menu until 7:00 which I would educatedly guess meant 7 AM. It was currently 2:12 AM or something. Also the pvp stuff didn't start until 10 AM. Everything had particular times and limiting what the people playing your game can do especially when it just launches seems pretty dumb. I'm not a game developer though so maybe I just don't understand the brilliance of that strategy.

@@dragonmaster1599 I totally understand. I usually just try out games just for something different for the small amount of time I'll more than likely put into it. I had no expectations for this game. Next game I'm gonna try is Zenless Zone Zero next week, but that's the same kind of thing more than likely.
@@Gothun yea ima be playing zenless as well, i can tell you 100% things will be time gated in that game, its a gatcha game but i expect that with gatcha games i been playing them for 10 years now lol.
