Loot lock out is way less risky trying it with random groups as suppose to needing logs to ensure you get your clear for the week in classic. Retail when a group goes south side you just leave and try again with a different group, I can climb and get gear without needing to do ton of boring farming and grinding to get pre bis and still struggle to get into a group. its mad annoying when there is so little endgame in classic and people treat it like a NASA space mission. AND classic gameplay aint even good

Ya the classes have been through much more rigorous balance play testing than SoD. SoD won't last long enough to get there. Everything was slapped together without much testing or planning.
@@DB-ku7vu Until the nature of such an experiment led to unfun / bad design choices. examples would be -super bursty one shot pvp with worse class balance than classic (no longer rock paper scissors/ several dominating classes) -no balance on raid dps classes (this was the main thing people were asking for with classic + LOL) -replacing the classic itemization with inflated gear ilvls from raids at every bracket leaving dungeons and quest gears irrelevant for the most part although not entirely. -Instead of revitalizing the dungeons and having a multitude of them to run per phase you make us run one raid every phase. -excursions (run in circle for 4 hours to max level) is objectively worse than adding more quests to do and letting people explore the world discovering them and leveling over a week not 4 HOURS. -constant exp and gold boosts on content thats already gated. people had plenty of time to level already and classic leveling is THE game. -Gating leveling into phases ruins the feel of progression at your own pace.
