Gidday mate. Late arrival to your channel but better late than never. Have just begun to do the same with my Interceptor, agree wheel size a pain. However chosen same tyres and have ordered a front mud guard raising kit from Hitchcock’s. I already have an alloy sump guard and a SS oil cooler guard. Can’t wait to get it out on the gravel. Cheers, Bill (NZ)
Termignoni high level single sided exhaust to add to the off road look would look fantastic on your bike imo. What you have done is certainly where I'd go if I had room in my garage for a 3rd bike. 👍
Steve Steve - Thanks Steve, I’ve contemplated high pipes but not sure, will be doing a lot of trips on the bike and high pipes may hinder my rack plans
Love your videos mate, will be useful somewhere in a near future. Your front mudguard/fender is now black, did you paint it yourself? Tell us about it please. Loving where you're going with the mods, cheers!
Duarte Ramalho, thank you, much appreciated! Yea I painted it myself. Didn’t do a video as whilst I’m fairly competent at it, putting a video up will just attract all the idiots telling me what I’m doing wrong... same as showing welding hence why I never show any welding I do!
@@DormanDiaries thank you for the answer! Mind you sharing please what kind of paint did you use? Was it the same process and paint from the wind shield?
Hello! How would you rate this bike in terms of pilot + passenger? I'm in love with the bike, but I'm not sure how it performs with a passenger... Thank you!!
Alberto Benito totally fine with a passenger check this ruclips.net/video/F_f4Lo5v07w/видео.html my wife rides herself and didn’t previously like being a pillion but likes it on the Enfield.
Hi i am planning to built scrambler type gt650. So i want to know is it possible to install front fender (The upper mudguard like the one's in dirt bikes or in the RE Himalayan)?
Hi Shaariff, it isn't a kit just parts I've put together. 16mm diameter spacers x 10mm tall with an M6 Hole. The bolts are M6 x 30mm in stainless steel.
Dave InWLA I’ve actually gone up 5mm now. My mate machines various brass and alloy parts so he made me the latest ones. Video coming soon with more of his stuff.
I got a 2019 Royal Enfield 650 Interceptor it fell over on the left side and broke off my foot Peg broke at bracket right in half where can I get one of those
Nice one mate. Keep 'em coming. Your Taillight video inspired me to do something similar to mine as well. I've uploaded a short clip on my channel. Let me know what you think if you have the time hehe.

So simple but effective. Great job.
Thank you! Cheers!
Enjoy your videos, always very informative, thanks.
Thanks Andy, that is really appreciated.
Looks good, very in keeping with your look. Had to get out the dictionary tho. "Fender" a word used wrongly in the USA for mudguard. 😎
I know....pretty common universally now though in't it!
Now that give bike a brat look🥰.. very fantastic job done..nice content man.keep it up.
Cheers man

If removing the upper guard anyway, you can reuse the 1.5 cm spacers and fasteners from the top to raise the lower fender.
Can you please share where did you purchase your front and rear tyres..
Wishes from Dubai. Stay blessed. Whats the size of the tyres?
An elegant solution! Was that copper anti-seize grease that you put on the bolt threads?
Dave InWLA - yep! Use a lot of it! - comes from owning a landy!
Are you not worried that lifting what is actually a fork brace will compromise it's effectiveness?
Nah not in the slightest
Eventually upgrading to a 'Gold Chain'. Is that purely cosmetic or are there other benefits from fitting a gold chain ?
Depends on the brand you buy, I find them easier to keep an eye on as they show up the dirt

Did you paint your fender black or order a black one?
Thanks
Painted it with rattle cans. I've sprayed so many things black I've had plenty of practice.
Great video!!!

More than enough clearance, nice. Should even cope when clogged with mud if that ever happened
Cheers pal, should be fine now yea, more than the groms have.
Some Delrin would work too.

Yep definitely quite a few done it now. Cheers
Nice touch to the bike that, where did you get them from?
If you're UK based my friend is putting a kit together - email in description. Cheers
Niceone, thanks for that. When I get my new front mudguard in the post I will drop an email and order a set. Cheers
I tried raising the fender few mm last time but then the drawback was the water spilled right up till flyscreen during rainy weather
Surprised at that mate, I’ve never noticed it doing that. Would have thought it only happen if you cut it down.
Bro how are this tyres on highways and long rides..hope no issues in abs..
Done some decent mileage now, review soon
@@DormanDiaries waiting for overall performance review 👍

@@DormanDiaries - It sounds bike an ADV bike is in development! Sooo... maybe an oil filter guard/bash plate?

Hitchcocks have modified versions of those plates available that allow you to change the position of the pegs.
@@DormanDiaries thanks
Nice video
Thanks Fan Girl!!
Why would anyone fit knobby tyres on a intercepter the standard tyres are shite enough as it is
Because I love smashing my fingers to pieces fitting them!

wish those tires were allowed in germany :/
Why aren't they? At least you're allowed electric scooters!!! ;)
@@DormanDiaries tire companies have to "release" a specific tire for a specific bike... so far there's only some sports tires released for the RE
@@machdasmalvegan57 - Ah OK. Its unlikely to happen then unless RE release a specific scrambler model.
