Gurleen Kaur the best setting spray for oil skin is seriously none. I have extremely oil skin, used thousands of setting sprays and I can tell you that every single one is going to make your makeup look worse, tacky, oil comes faster, you can tell the makeup looks „old”
Nikkia Joy has a lot of videos about setting spray for Oily skin. She always goes into detail about her skin and gives great detail about her wear test.

Hi Anchal! I’d love if you made a video about sunscreens for POC, including for sensitive skin! A lot of them leave a white cast or have ingredients that don’t work for all skin types, so it’s hard to find physical ones that work!

The Milk primer is a water based primer, right? Maybe you're not matching your foundation-primer formulations (oil based + water based).

Sb Lp Make sure your foundation and primer are both either water or silicone based. Usually when you mix water with silicone it will lead to patchiness and separation. So make sure to check the ingredients of both your primer and foundation
Lesliesnuggets Okay I just saw the ingredients of the products. I have the longwear Nars fondation and the Nyx Bare with me jelly primer and they’re both with water ? I don’t know if I saw correctly.. So I don’t know but some people have said that you can’t put a primer with the Nars foundation, or that you have to put a Nars primer so that the foundation stays well. Idk I’m bad at makeup...

Does the Milk Hydro Grip Primer work well with a foundation that has silicone ingredients? I noticed my silicone-free primers are causing my foundation to be cakey.
I don’t know much about ingredients in Foundation but I used to wear the Milk Hydrogrip but then I realized it wasn’t working with every Foundation so stopped buying it. I have combo skin so I just stick to a nice moisturizing primer.
Omg wow I have oily combo skin and have had ALL of these primers throughout the years! Def the milk, Nyx and Fenty are the BEST ONES!

I just cant get the milk primer to work for me every time i apply my foundation it starts to go patchy not a good look any suggesting beautiful..xx
margaret smith let it set for a minute or two then apply the foundation at least that’s how i got it to work for me lol

if you really like sticky primer i totally suggest to try the nyx honey dew me up primer! this is my favourite primer ever, i have normal skin and i pair it with a pore filling primer just because i like to lol! this primer really makes my makeup look beautiful, not glowy at all, but really just makes my makeup last incredibly. i have the fenty hydrating primer and i have to say it is not that good for me, sometimes does its job, sometimes ruins my makeup. anyway, give it a try! thanks for the video

Can you do a review of the Lancome Le Base Pro Perfecting and Smoothing primer? It is the most amazing primer for very oily skin and is by far the best primer for oily skin that I have come across but most influencers don't talk about it. I’ve extremely oily skin sometimes and that’s why I always feared I could never find a good one for me. But I really gotta say that the fenty one is legit the best one for me and it even seems like it’s cream rather than a primer.

I really like the veil primer but I feel like it doesnt help too much with acne scars or deep pores. So I wear the Dr.brandt primer under it so I know forsure all my since scars and deep pores are "filled". Other than that I definitely recommend it too from an oily skin person like me. Also I like it cause it's not overly drying on the skin. Feels so smooth

Primer is one unnecessary product makeup companies have created to make money. If you are using a good serum and moisturiser, you do not need a primer. Remember folks, beauty vloggers are paid to promote makeup and skincare, and products are often gifted to them. They have nothing to lose if a £30 primer is rubbish, but as a consumer, that's your hard earned cash down the drain.
Maxima Plane do you think I haven’t spent my own money on some of these? Or on TONS of primers/makeup over the years. This video is unpaid...what do I gain telling my followers about my favourite primers that I feel ACTUALLY work. I really can’t stand the constant blogger bashing.
I'm not Vlogger bashing, but there's a reason you guys are called influencers. I'm expressing my opinion about primers, I feel they are an unnecessary step and we managed fine without them before they came on the market. I also feel that your younger target audience will struggle to buy the very pricey primers you have shown here, the NYX one being the only drugstore option. I don't doubt that you have paid a lot for products, you are a makeup artist so you need the tools. I too am a makeup artist, and I don't feel anyone needs a primer. Thanks for responding to my comment though. I stand by it because I guess I'm just not the kind of person that is influenced easily.
Maxima Plane Each artist works differently and if you listened to the start of the video i shared what I feel primers are there to do (for me) and a lot of them can me gimmicky. I can agree with what you’re saying however regarding me creating a video like this because i’m paid to is extremely false. Also i know my demographic and my audience and I don’t really have a lot of young viewers - also i’m not going to throw in extra drugstore ones for the sake of it..i kept this video honest and true to what I believe works, hence there’s only one affordable one in there.
