They have this concept where brainiac mimics the flash. But no one else? Have a boss fight against every justice league member we have fought throughout the game. Just the flash is SO anticlimactic.
Maybe next time he'll mimic someone else?
He‘ll probably mimic someone else every season. Like in MK1 where every character has his own season
To be fair the Flash is by far the most powerful member of the Justice League, but also this is just an absolutely dumb decision for a boss fight lmao
If I were Braniac I'd have kept Amazo as my trump card, and he would've been the final boss.
Plus hijacking one of the good Amazos (like JLA:U) would have been a real flex.
No no, you don't understand! They gotta keep the other JL members as imitations for the future, so that for each Season update, they can add 1 Boss fight for free. Guess why 3 seasons were announced and there being 4 JL bosses. And Imma let you triple guess who we gonna fight once we get the Joker...The lazyness is written all over this game
This is one of the biggest parts of the game that nobody can excuse. It’s just lazy, they could have AT LEAST cycled through all the heroes and finish with Brainiac, but instead they made the most disappointing fight ever.
Jason Isaacs is a really solid Brainiac actor here. So cool to see him having numerous dc roles over the years

So Braniac who mind-controlled the 4 most OP superheroes and made them work for him, defeated by only 4 puny suicide squad members who have no super powers,also how the mind-controlled superheroes got killed by those 4 punks like they were nothing, is this Game a joke or the makers of this game were high AF while making the Game
Im still leaning towards the theory that they were clones Braniac made after capturing the jl. With Batman saying things out of character, Superman not dying to Kryptonite and flashs finger that ive seen people talk about. But there are some holes to that theory though

It's not like they just waltz up and execute them... the whole game is about building up to the fights and getting geared out so you can stand a chance

This game would've easily done 13 months if Avengers or Gotham Knights didn't come out before it. People learned what these games are and hate it, so they don't even bother with this one.

My only question is that out of all the Justice League members, why did Brainiac choose to mimic the Flash? There were heroes who were perhaps a better fit for all of this, he could have turned into all of them at different times, heck, he could have become an amalgamation of all of them, but we just got Flash? I'm not disappointed, I'm just confused...
Because now they will be able to make each Brainiac mimic another character for its boss fight in future seasons.

Ok but the boss fights are still lame lol. Like I played the whole thing they all kinda blow. Whether they're really dead or not these boss fights felt like sub bosses and brainiacs, the final boss, fight was recycled. That's lazy development practice.

They might be dead for now but they are almost certainly returning. Because it’s not a multiverse flash, it’s the same flash trying to find out why he’s not under control anymore

the icing on the cake is that they clearly just re-used the flash model and facial capture, changed the color scheme, and stuck crystals on his body. at least give him brainiac's face.

Is it just me or is this brainiac channeling a lot of Zod in terms of motives? But then he seems to switch to typical brainiac motives (gathering knowledge) in the middle of the whole thing, while still saying he wants to turn Earth into his homeworld? He seems either inconsistent or distractible.

Avengers and Gotham Knights were more successful than this travesty, and i picked up Avengers release date as an early birthday gift, i had fun with it's story modes and DLC content
Gotham Knights had the same amount of fun in it's story, never got dlc tho which I didn't mind
This however if it basically cancelled it's plans and left it like this I don't care, it's a failure and I'll always see it that way
Honestly one of the worst brainiac designs i've ever seen, hoping the other ones if, and when, they show up look more like the design that usually is used instead of this awful look
This game's plot is basically Guardians of the Galaxy but DC. The character dynamics are basically the same minus a groot.

The story is, remotely interesting, the gameplay is kinda solid, the writing on most parts was shit, maybe, just maybe, if they got actual DC writers instead of SBI, this game would have gotten enough money for a recoup, a profit, and a sequel, the part that ruined it was the idiotic inclusion, for a public that doesn't even buy games, they just use megaphones to talk louder than everyone else.

A game where all you do is play watered down D2 public events but without any real build options isn't good, let alone the story being stupidly set in the arkham verse, meaning Batman was nerfed on a fucking universal scale.

Gameplay is good. mediocre to others since there apparently no improvements.
Story was shit and doesn't make sense realistically and logically, the whole story revolves around the four of them having the biggest plot armor in a video game.
The gameplay is fun, the graphics look great, but a lot of the missions are very repetitive which is the problem. Also, the boss fights were just really lackluster. They made lightwork of all the bosses in the story, even Superman's boss fight was as if he wasn't even trying. Also you have to have an Internet connection to play and their servers keep dropping. This game does have problems but credit where credit is due it does look really good. Playing with friends makes all the difference though.
